Levi Johnston Appears In His First Commercial, Cracks His Nuts

Last month we learned that Levi Johnston, former Alaska governor Sarah Palin’s nemesis, agreed to pose nekkid for Playgirl but as of yet, there’s been no word on what he’s gonna show in his pictorial (either the frontsies or the backsies) or when we can expect to see those photos. In the meantime, today we get our first look at Levi’s first commercial job for Wonderful Pistachios. Levi is among the new spokespeople for the company’s new Get Crackin’ campaign … here are a few screencaps:

Hold on to your daughters, Palin “Baby-Daddy” Levi Johnson is making his television commercial debut today as part of Wonderful Pistachio’s “Get Crackin’” campaign. The Paramount Farms campaign is also a first for Levi’s co-stars, pistachios. “Get Crackin,’” the first-ever TV campaign for pistachios, features eight celebrities demonstrating how they crack open a pistachio, each in their own humorous, unique way. The commercials also include Olympic swimmer and record-setting medalist Dara Torres; Brady Bunch alum Christopher Knight and America’s Next Top Model wife Adrianne Curry; Jackass prankster Wee-Man; The Sopranos gangster Vincent Pastore; Miss South Carolina beauty pageant contestant and YouTube sensation Lauren Caitlin Upton; the Denny quintuplets; and a real-life dominatrix. The campaign also supports a YouTube video contest challenging aspiring film makers to create a video showing how they “Get Crackin.’” The winner’s ad will air on national TV and also earn them $25K – a pretty wonderful deal.

Lord … well, at least I suppose the kid should be commended for making money while keeping his clothes on. Oh believe me, I want to see the nudie pics as much as the next person but it’s nice to see that he has other talents at making money that don’t require him to take off his clothes. Good for him! A Long Overdue Date

Last night I met up with my friend Angie for a dinner late that was long overdue … we had been talking about supping together at Chick-Fil-A in Redondo Beach, CA for MONTHS now and we finally got around to having our date:

We are both big Chick fans so we had ourselves a great meal (complete with their NEW peach milkshake) and even greater conversation. I’m hoping that we’ll get to hang out more once she and her family moves closer to LA. Head on over to HoundstoothRadio.com to hear Angie play some amazing songs :)

Who Wants To Lick, Suck On Daniel Craig?

The industrious and creative folks at Del Monte have come up with a killer idea to sell frozen smoothie lollies for Daniel Craig fans to lick, suck and munch on during the hot summer months. Produced in limited quantities, the Daniel Craig lollies feature his topless likeness modeled after his look in the James Bond film Casino Royale … behold:

Fans of James Bond star Daniel Craig will get the chance to lick his famous torso this summer. The actor’s sculpted body shot to fame when he emerged from the sea in his clinging swimming trunks in Casino Royale. Now, an ice cream company has created a lollipop replica of him based on the well-known scene. The purple ‘licence to chill’ sweet went into production after more than 1,000 women said Daniel Craig was the male celebrity they would most like to see on the end of a stick. The limited edition smoothie lollies are made by Del Monte and come in three different flavours; blueberry, pomegranate and cranberry. For those Daniel Craig fans who are conscious about calories – the lollies will contain less than 100 calories each. The 007 ice replicas will be distributed during the first National Ice Cream Week which begins today. Daniel Craig recently admitted that he maintains his hunky figure by boxing. The actor, who is currently taking a break from James Bond duties following Quantum of Solace, is set to make his Broadway debut this autumn alongside Hugh Jackman. They will play Chicago police officers in A Steady Rain – which won several awards when it was staged in Chicago two years ago. The play is being made by James Bond producer Barbara Broccoli. It sees the two men’s lifelong friendship put to the test when they become embroiled in a domestic dispute in a tough neighbourhood.

If you are at all interested in getting your hands on some of these Daniel Craig lollies you better act fast … once Joe Jonas finds out about these things, he’s likely to buy out the entire stock! Kudos to Del Monte for coming up with an inventive new product like this … hopefully they’ll produce more lollies like this. I wouldn’t mind a chance to lick a likeness of David Beckham, Jake Gyllenhaal, Ryan Phillippe, etc. Who would YOU like to have the chance to lick? Might there be a market for Robert Pattinson lolly?

Kevin Federline Enjoys Eating Donuts

In the past week or so, we’ve seen new photos of Kevin Federline — former back-up dancer and ex-hubby to Britney Spears — lookin’ a bit larger than we are used to seeing. Today, we may finally know the reason why K-Fed has been pushing maximum density in recent weeks. Here are a couple pics of K-Fed and his current girlfriend Victoria Prince making their way out of a Winchell’s Donuts shop with a big ol’ box of donuts in hand:

You will note from the sign in the window behind their heads in the first photo that the “Pufffies” are on sale … perhaps K-Fed is carrying a box of Puffies with him, or mebbe he’s a traditionalist and opted for a box of regular old donuts? He strikes me as a jelly donut kind of guy, don’t you think? I’m not sure how many donuts a person can buy using the alimony checks from a superstar like Britney Spears … but I’m sure it’s a lot. And suddenly … it is all starting to make sense.

Lily Allen Arrives In Los Angeles

Lily Allen has arrived in Southern California to begin her latest US tour in support of her new album It’s Not Me, It’s You and upon touching down at LAX Airport this week, she went directly to the closest In-N-Out Burger joint in sight to fill up on, among other things, their delicious milkshakes … behold:

Having partaken (partook?) in the wonderful milkshakes at In-N-Out myself on numerous occasions, I can’t say that I blame her one bit. Think melted ice cream that you suck thru a straw. MMMMMMMMMMMMMM. I’m very happy to see that Lily arrived here in the States safe and sound cuz Darion and I are going to see her at The Wiltern this Thursday night … and I’m very excited. I’ve never seen her in concert before so I’m really looking forward to the show. Perhaps I’ll see if Darion is up for grabbing a bite to eat at In-N-Out on our way to the show … we could even pick up a shake or 5 for Lily ;)
