Yesterday was a pretty great Sunday Funday. The early part of the day was spent at Disneyland with my Sons of Anakin peeps, where we voted and patched in our friend Alex as our newest member. After a fun afternoon of play in the park (and another ride on The Haunted Mansion to get another look at the Hatbox Ghost), we decided to have dinner offsite at the INFINITELY amazing Korean BBQ place Mr. BBQ. Lorde have mercy, we ate and ate and ate and ate … and ate some more. We weren’t satisfied until the night ended in meat sweats. It was divine. More »

Yesterday was a very nice, very relaxing day for me. I spent the early part of my day having coffee with my friend Caleb and then I spent part of my night having dinner with my friend Eileen. Caleb and I got together for one of our chats and we ended up hanging out at the Bru Coffeebar in Los Feliz for over 4 hours. If there was a subject worth discussing, we discussed it :D After I ran an errand in Glendale, I met up with Eileen in Burbank for dinner at Outback Steakhouse — by her suggestion! I mean, I know I loved Eileen before yesterday but when she suggested we get cheese fries at Outback, I knew my love for her was strong, true and eternal. More »
"This is habanero pepper juice...."
Last week we were talking about body positivism and I brought up Chrissy Teigen‘s ability to look fabulous, according to modern beauty standards—even when she’s showing off her bruises and stretch marks. Today, I’m reminded that the model continues to look like a model, seemingly at all times, even when she appears to be on the losing end of a bet, and drinking habanero pepper juice. Incredible. Altho I usually spend my Sundays at Disneyland, everyone in my group decided to take the day off for Easter so I decided to follow suit. I ended up staying home for the entire day, lounging on the couch watching cartoons. It was very sweet. Then, last night, I met up with Tamar and her friends Jennie and Andrea and we made our way to Jeremy’s place for a little housewarming party. Jeremy has a new puppy and a new place, so a party was required. Chill day, chill night … chill Easter was so great. More »

Yesterday was a really fun day for me, as per usual. I got to spend a bit more time hanging out with my friend Angie before she had to fly back to Boston last night. Then, I got to hang out properly with Tamar and her friends in Venice to close out the night. Angie and I were able to grab dinner and dessert before I dropped her off at the airport. Then I met up with Tam and we met up with a group of her friends to celebrate her friend Peter’s birthday. Great people, great day. More »

A couple of weeks ago, my friend Jessika inadvertently introduced me to the world’s oldest McDonald’s that is still in operation and yesterday — after much delay — I finally got to pay a visit. When I first laid on this hallowed place, it was night and it was all lit up … and it looked nothing like any McDonald’s I’ve ever seen in my life. Back home in Michigan, I lived near a “’50s McDonald’s” that was a new store renovated to look like a McD’s from the ’50s (kinda like the Cafe ’80s in Back to the Future II). This one is a genuinely vintage McD’s so I knew I had to visit. Jessika suggested we check it out and that’s what we did yesterday. More »

"@PapaJohns was my favorite pizza"
It would appear that Iggy Azalea not only has terrible taste in hair’dos but she also has horrible taste in pizza … and now she’s paying the price for it. Iggy took to her official Twitter profile to publicly complain that her personal phone number was given out to family member fans by the person who delivered Papa John’s Pizza to her. After she ordered a pizza, apparently, she started getting random texts from people who are fans of her work … much to her displeasure. According to one text that she shared online, one of the messages came from the brother of her Papa John’s delivery person. Mess! More »
"If I Can Do It, Anyone Can"
Remember back at the end of 2013 and the beginning of 2014 when Beyoncé and husband Jay Z embarked on a 22 Day Vegan Challenge? Well, it looks like the challenge was so inspiring (or it was a clever early marketing plan) that it prompted Bey to launch her very own vegan meal delivery service. Beyoncé and her fitness trainer Marco Borgess have partnered for a new business venture called 22 Days Nutrition that will, for a small fee, deliver “100% organic, plant-based, non-GMO, gluten-free, soy-free and delicious” meals right to your door! Imagine that!! More »
It had something to do with jalapeños
I am literally shaking my head right now. Sigh. Have you ever caught yourself clicking on something so click-baity, and then enjoying it immensely, and feeling a little bit guilty for being so ridiculous? (i.e. All those times I’ve watched that Pandas on a Slide video… like, even right now, because I had to pull up the link, and I’ve started watching it again…) Prepare to feel similarly ridiculous as you watch Chrissy Teigen pour milk all over herself like a crazy person.
