Last night I met up with my friend David aka Ginger for a dinner hang at Outback after a few weeks of talking about hanging out. Ginger and I became friends last year when I started hanging out with social clubs at Disneyland (he’s in Mickey’s Empire) and it was discovered that I moved very close to where he lives when I moved to my new place last month. We’ve been talking about getting together to hang out outside of Dland and last night we finally got it together. The poor guy had never had Aussie Chayze Froys at Outback Steakhouse and I felt it was my duty to right the wrong. More »

Burger King Proposes A Joint Burger Venture With McDonald’s, McDonald’s Says Nah

Thirsty BK wants a McWhopper, McD's ain't interested at all

Fast food giant Burger King took out a full page ad in The New York Times and the Chicago Tribune today in an effort to solicit fast food GOD McDonald’s with a proposal that the two companies join forces to create a joint burger called the McWhopper in honor of Peace One Day. In what would absolutely constitute a major advertising coup for Burger King, the proposal suggests that the two companies collaborate on a special burger that would bring the fast food rivals together in “peace” … and commerce. Burger King‘s thirst for this proposal is so huge that they even offered up mock packaging for the McWhopper. Unfortunately for BK, McDonald’s isn’t at all interested in this proposal. The CEO of McD’s posted a response to BK on their official Facebook profile that basically says Thaaaaaaanks … but no thanks, don’t bother us publicly in this manner, go away, bye. Click below to see this back and forth exchange between these two fast food companies and learn more about the McWhopper — which will never come to be. More »

Nerd Dinner

The TV Guide

After a week of being cooped up with unpacking and housekeeping in my new place, I finally found the time to get out of the house yesterday. Tamar invited to celebrate her BFF Danielle’s birthday at a leisurely afternoon brunch party in Santa Monica, which was followed by a super chill hang with her amazing parents afterward. Last night, Adriana invited me to a fun dinner party attended by a super spectacular group of her nerd friends. All day long, I was surrounded by great people — new friends and old — which made for a truly stellar Saturday. More »

I Scream Social

The TV Guide

Yesterday afternoon, Emma and Josh came by new new place to check it out and take me out to lunch and we enjoyed a nice afternoon together. We went out for pizza and ice cream and pretty much ate our faces off. The pizza place we went to was pretty good but the ice cream, yeah, it was NEXT LEVEL. Josh was telling me that the ice cream shop we went to, Quenelle, is one of the best in the country — and he is so right. Of the available flavors right now, I had a hard time deciding which one to get … but after I tasted the Guinness flavor, I knew I found the love of my life. More »

Swimming Along

The TV Guide

Sooooo … I’ve been staying with Emma and Josh for about a week now, as construction continues in my apartment. Because of the construction dust all over everything, I cannot really be in my place until work is complete and the place can be cleaned. As such, my amazing friends have opened their home to me graciously and happily. I cannot even tell you how much Emma, Josh and Duke mean to me … they are like family, I just love them. Since I’ve been here, I’ve been able to get into the family routine … playing with Duke in the morning, doing an afternoon activity with him, evening dance parties … it’s been fun. So much so that I know I’m going to miss him (well, them but mostly him) when I leave). Yesterday, Duke had a swimming class … and I was lucky enough to tag along. More »

You might have woken up with a case of the Mondays today, for which there is really only one cure: chocolate. North West, who is gearing up to be a big sister, took some time out of her day to remind us that 75-85% of problems and negative attitudes can be resolved with baked goods and chocolate. Starlight, Star Bright

The TV Guide

Last night, I met up with my friend Tamar for a night hike in Griffith Park so that we could pay a visit to the observatory to see a celestial event. The planets Venus and Jupiter aligned last night to look like a “twin star”, which is a feat that happens very rarely. We hiked up to the observatory at dusk so that we could see the planets as night set. After we spent some time admiring the view, I made my way home … where I was met with a surprise visit from my friend Jessie … who brought me a Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup donut, right to my doorstep. Needless to say, I had a very nice night. More »

Into Everyone’s Life A Little Sprinkles Must Fall

The TV Guide

I’ve been in a bit of a funk lately so Eileen helped get me out of the house last night with the promise of cheese fries, donuts and cupcakes. I know, it’s terrible … TERRIBLE … but I can never resist and we did have a nice night out. Eileen came over and we made our way to Burbank and then ended up in Glendale at the Sprinkles Cupcakes ATM for a late night sugar fix and, well that was my night. Haha. Hanging out with Eileen did cheer me up a lot so it was all well worth the effort … and massive empty calories. More »

Travel Plans With Eileen

The TV Guide

Last night I finally got out of the house to hang out with Eileen. She and I had been talking about getting drinks so I picked her up at her place and she decided we should check out a new cocktail lounge in West Hollywood called Now Boarding. The bar is themed around air travel and it looks like you’re in an airport lounge. Like most bars in WeHo, the drinks were a bit pricey … but they were delicious. Eileen and I had a couple drinks each and a really great night overall. More »
