Christina Aguilera’s Baby Shower Cake Depicts Her Baby Emerging From Her Vagina

"Push Xtina Push!"

On Saturday night, Christina Aguilera celebrated the forthcoming arrival of her second child, which we learned back in March will be a girl, at a baby shower thrown for her by her friends. Today we get to check out the awesomely insane cake that Xtina‘s friends presented her with at the shower which, I might add, isn’t really for the faint of heart. I mean, even if you think you don’t want to see what this cake looks like … you know you deffo want to see what this cake looks like. Behold. More »

Bang, Bang

The TV Guide

Last night I met up with my friend Ollie for a quick hang session that turned into an all-night affair. Even tho I got to spend some time with Ollie at her birthday party a couple of weekends ago, I haven’t had the opportunity to hang out with her one-on-one for some time … we were way overdue. She suggested that we visit our fave place in Koreatown Toe Bang and I was ALL for a night of supping on kimchee pancakes, cheese corn and multi-flavored soju. We ate, we laughed, we had the best time ever … as usual. More »

The Detroitness

The TV Guide

And so, I am back home in LA after my lovely week-long visit to Michigan last week. As always, my time back home was so great but it really flew by this time. I had gotten really used to just chillin’ with Sarah and Mark and then, BAM, it was time for me to return home. I did consider staying a bit longer but I have a lot of stuff to get done here in LA than, blah, I just came last night as scheduled. My last day in Detroit was fun, mostly because I got to squeeze in a bit of extra hang time with Sarah and Mark … oh, and I got to enjoy lunch at Olga’s so, yeah, it was a pretty great day. More »

Movie Review: ’22 Jump Street’

The TV Guide

My Thursday here in Detroit Rock City was a pretty bizzy and productive one. After a day of work, Sarah, Mark and I made our way out for an amazing Coney Island dinner before we caught an early showing of 22 Jump Street. After we got back home and settled, I managed to finish watching season 2 of Orange is the new Black. All in all, I was very entertained yesterday … even if I felt that both the movie and the second season of OITNB were a bit underwhelming. More »

Macaulay Culkin’s Pizza-Themed Band, The Pizza Underground, Helps Open A Pizza Place In London

Because, Pizza

So, former Home Alone star Macauly Culkin has started up a new band he calls The Pizza Underground (inspired by The Velvet Underground) and, as far as I can tell, everything that the band does is pizza related. Sounds like a brilliant idea, right? The Pizza Underground have made their way to the UK for a tour there and last night paid a visit to a pizza place in London called Yard Sale Pizza for their grand opening because … pizza. Click below to see photos of Macauly and The Pizza Underground at Yard Sale Pizza last night and check out a promo video that better explains what The Pizza Underground is all about. More »

The Top ‘Chef’

The TV Guide

Last night I met up with Tamar for a movie/dinner date that we planned last weekend and despite the fact that the temperature here in LA is hotter than Hades this week, we braved the heat to spend some time together … in a very chilly air conditioned movie theater :) Tam really wanted to see a new movie and because I’ve seen a few new movies in the past few weeks, we decided to see the new Jon Favreau movie Chef. I hadn’t heard of Chef before last night but Tam convinced me that it looked good. She was right, the movie is pretty good. Naturally, there are some problems with the movie overall but for the most part, I really enjoyed it. More »

DTLAwesome

The TV Guide

After far too much time since our last hang, I met up with Ollie in DTLA for a late dinner and hang session so that we could catch up with one another. Ollie has been working really hard lately so I really appreciate that she was able to take some time to meet up for a bite to eat with me. Ollie suggested we try out a place called Baco Mercat since I had never been there before. See, Ollie has really great taste because that place was really damn good. Good friend + good food = a really great nice. More »

Häagen-Dazs Is Releasing Vegetable-Flavored Ice Cream

In Japan because, Duh

Häagen-Dazs is known for their rich, creamy, delicious flavors of ice cream … which today, we learn, they are putting ALL ON THE LINE with the forthcoming release of two versions of vegetable-flavored ice cream. For some reason, the company thinks the world is ready for ice cream that tastes like tomatoes, carrots, etc. and they have chosen the country of Japan to introduce these new flavors. Honestly, it makes all the sense in the world that Häagen-Dazs would release vegetable-flavored ice cream in Japan cuz they LOVE weird stuff like this. I can’t say that it sounds very tasty to me but … hey, I’m sure someone will love it, right? More »

She Bangs

The TV Guide

Last night I met up with one of my most favoritest people in the world for a long overdue hang session at a fun little place in Koreatown called Toe Bang. My BFF Ollie informed me of the fantastic happy hour that they do at Toe Bang so I figured, yeah, let’s do it. Honestly, I was really only interested in hanging out with Ollie since we haven’t had the chance to do so for far too long. I missed out on seeing her Tuesday night when I was in DTLA so our hang out last night was a must for me. As expected, Ollie and I only had the best time ever … as we are wont to do :) More »
