Two weeks ago we got to check out the first music video from Justin Bieber‘s upcoming Xmas album Under the Mistletoe. Today we get to hear some more Xmas music from The Biebs. Mariah Carey has released a NEW version of her hit Xmas song All I Want for Christmas Is You and she smartly got Bieber to perform on the track. All I Want is a perennial Xmas fave year after year after year … but with the little prince on the track, it’s bound to rocket sales of the song into the stratosphere. Great news, Britney Spears fans … today we have some new music to listen to from our dear Britney. An unreleased track titled Everyday mysteriously made it’s way to the Internets for our listening pleasure … and it’s a pretty sweet track. In addition, today we learn that Britney and her sons Sean Preston and Jayden James along with Britney‘s loverman have made their way to the beautiful City of Lights — Paris, France. As we all know by now, Britney Spears is readying the release of Criminal as the next single from her latest album Femme Fatale and today we get to hear the remixed single version of the track. On the album, Criminal is a bit slower than mid-tempo … this single mix deffo sounds to me a bit faster, more upbeat. The vocals sound a bit enhanced as well. I only kinda like the original album version but I really LOVE this new single mix. Listen to it in full below.

Just 2 days ago we learned that Rihanna‘s new single We Found Love from her as-yet-untitled album (due out in December) would be making its debut on radio today and the single did just that. In addition to premiering on radio stations around the world today, the song was unveiled on Ri Ri‘s official Facebook profile today as well. Today we get to hear the track in full right here on the blog! As you may recall, I previously reported that Kelly would be chatting with fans on her official website and would personally be debuting her single on the site. Back in January of this year we learned that the still-living Amy Winehouse teamed up with iconic crooner Tony Bennett to record a duet together for his forthcoming album titled Duets II. At the time, no specifics about the duet were known except for the fact that the song had been successfully recorded. As we are all well aware, Amy tragically passed away at the age of 27 last month … and today, we get our first taste of Bennett‘s duet with Winehouse … which you can listen to below.

Last October Garbage frontwoman Shirley Manson confirmed the recording of a new Garbage album as well as a forthcoming tour. Since that time, little hints have been popping up on the band’s official Facebook profile giving us glimpses into the recording process. Over the weekend, a photo of Shirley in the recording studio showed up on the site and today a short video clip with a snippet of new music was added. Check out both the photo and the video below.

The official website for the upcoming US version of the Swedish film The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo has been updated with our FIRST LISTEN of some of the music created by Trent Reznor for the film’s official soundtrack. As you may know, Dragon Tattoo is directed by the genius David Fincher who tapped Reznor to score his last film The Social Network (which won Reznor his first Academy Award for Best Original Score). First we heard Crystalline, then we heard Cosmogony … today we get our first listen of the new Björk song Virus, the third released track from her upcoming new album Biophilia. This latest song has a bit of a lullaby sound to it, toy pianos and all. The song is available for download within the Biophilia iPhone/iPad app that was released a couple of weeks ago.
