"So live another day"
Justin Bieber, who has been the talk lately since video of his ridiculous deposition testimony made its way to the Internets this week, appears to be trying to get things back on track with the recording of his next album. JB has been bizzy in the recording studio as of late and today shares with the world a snippet of a new song that he’s working on titled Life Is Worth Living. The Biebs posted this song snippet on his official Instagram profile, but you can hear the clip in full below. More »
As featured last month on 'New Girl'
Remember last month when Prince made a guest appearance on the Fox TV series New Girl on the episode that aired directly after the Super Bowl? If so, you may recall that Prince performed a new song on the show titled FALLINLOVE2NITE and that song featured New Girl star Zooey Deschanel on guest vocals. Today we get to hear FALLINLOVE2NIGHT in full, courtesy of I Heart Radio. Altho we have no information regarding a new album from Prince, it’s very possible that this new track will be featured on Prince‘s new album … er, if there is a new album on the way. Click below, have a listen to Prince‘s duet with Zooey. More »
"Everyone will be computerized"
A previously unreleased (possible demo) Daft Punk song titled Computerized has leaked its way to the Internets and as you can hear below, it features Jay Z on guest vocals. It’s unknown when the song was recorded nor is the song’s production credit known but it is rumored that Kanye West may have had a hand in the song’s creation. The song sounds like it would’ve fit nicely on the Daft Punk soundtrack for the 2010 movie Tron: Legacy but because the song’s recording history is unknown, we can’t be sure what the song was originally intended for. Click below to have a listen to Computerized and hear what Jay Z sounds like when he raps over a Daft Punk track. More »

All 11 songs of Kiss Me Once are available below, courtesy of Ms. Minogue, and as you can hear for yourselves, it’s an ambitious pop effort. Click below and have a listen. I know I’ll be listening to this album stream for the next week as I count down the days to album release day. Please enjoy. More »
Last Summer, producer Timbaland announced that he was planning to release previously unheard music from Michael Jackson by year’s end but no album, no single has been released. Apparently, the project was sanctioned by Epic Records honcho L.A. Reid but for some reason, nothing has yet come from those plans. Today, tho, we get to hear a snippet of a new song titled Slave to the Rhythm that teases Timbaland‘s involvement in this project. As you can hear below, the song definitely features MJ‘s vocals … but is this Timbaland produced song worthy of release? Have a listen. More »
And it's pretty damn sick
Jennifer Lopez is hellbent on winning back the fans who fell in love with her music when she first burst onto the scene back in the late 90s because today, she has unleashed one of the hottest songs she’s released in probably the past 10 years. J. Lo teamed up with rapper French Montana for a new song titled I Luh Ya Papi (which is Spanglish, I believe, for I love you Daddy) and as you can hear in the video embedded above, she comes on strong with this return to her old urban sound. The song sounds deceptively simple but after one listen, I’m already hooked. Give it a listen, see what you think. I am now even more excited for the release of her next album. If this is a sign of what’s to come, I will be very happy to return to the J. Lo fold.
'I'll Remember You'
Earlier this week we got to hear 3 unreleased demo songs that were produced by Danja for Britney Spears but were never used in any official capacity. Today we get to hear another demo song, this one produced by Bloodshy and Avant (the geniuses responsible for Toxic), that was also never used on an official release. As I understand it, Bloodshy and Avant worked up this song, I’ll Remember You, for Britney Jean but for whatever reason, it didn’t make the cut. The song has been reworked into a version called simply You and will be released by a different artist … which TOTALLY SUCKS because, IMHO, this song would’ve sounded great on Britney Jean. Click the video embedded above to hear this demo song in full. Keep in mind, it sounds a bit pitchy and tinny because it’s just a demo but you can deffo hear the potential for it to have been a great song for our dear Britney. Sigh. Ah well.
"I rule in my fantasy"
The legendary Bruce Springsteen performed a concert at the Mt. Smart Stadium in Auckland, New Zealand last night (well tonight there, last night here) and he decided to pay homage to one of New Zealand’s own by performing a cover of Lorde‘s world-wide smash hit single Royals. Yes, Bruce covered Lorde … as only Bruce can do. Naturally, he amended the lyrics a little bit to suit his needs but for the most part, he did his best to pay tribute to Lorde‘s Grammy award-winning song … much to her glee, I’m sure. Click the embed above to watch Bruce‘s cover of Royals and see what you think of his take on Lorde‘s song. As far as compliments go, this seems like a pretty significant one … I’m quite certain that Lorde is pretty pleased with herself right now :)
Songs meant for 'Circus' & 'Britney Jean' and a HOT remix
Ever since Britney Spears put out the KILLER album Blackout, which was mostly produced by the brilliant producer Danja (real name Floyd Nathaniel Hills), fans have been clamoring for more Britney and Danja collaborations. It was rumored that Danja would be producing some of the songs on Britney‘s latest album Britney Jean (the talk was that the album would sound like a Blackout II) but when will.i.am was named the album’s executive producer, that plan got nixed. Today, as a special treat for longtime fans of Britney/Danja, the producer reveals for us 3 demo songs that he worked on for Britney but were never released. Click the embed above to watch video of Danja explaining that one of the songs was intended for Britney‘s Circus album, one song was intended for Britney Jean and the third song is a remix of Hot As Ice. You can hear each of these three songs above and get an idea for what could’ve been had Danja been allowed to produce for Britney again. Danja remains hopeful (as do I) that he will work with Britney again in the future. Hearing these previously unheard demos makes me even more anxious for Brit and Danja to collaborate again.
Featuring his homedawg Blake Kelly
Justin Bieber has unleashed a new song titled Broken upon the world. As you can hear in the embed above, the song features vocals by Blake Kelly. For all you Beliebers, you are very welcome for the song. For everyone else, my sincerest apologies.
