It’s been said that the more time a couple spends together, the more they start to resemble one another. Now that I think of it, they say the same thing about people and their pets. Regardless, I know quite a few couples that lookalike. I’m not sure if it is how they dress, their hair coloring, the vibe they give off, or all of the above, but today we have the perfect celebrity example. Um, did you know that Taylor Swift and John Mayer enjoyed a bit of a romantic tryst a couple of years ago? Yeah, me neither … BUT, because Taylor has made a career out of penning songs about her failed relationships, we now know that Taylor and John hooked up (or whatever) before her 2010 album Speak Now was released. Now, you might think that it was Taylor that started blabbing about the failed romance but you’d be wrong … it was actually John who brought this affair into the public eye. Congratulations are in order, I suppose, for Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth … because at the tender ages of 19 and 22 (respectively), the couple have decided to go ahead and get ENGAGED to be married! Now, far be it for me to poo poo on a blossoming love affair but it does seem to me that these young’ns are rushing things a bit. BUT, it really doesn’t matter what you, I or anyone else thinks … cuz Miley and Liam are gonna do what they’re gonna do … and what they’re gonna do is get hitched. More »

First Look: Lindsay Lohan & Grant Bowler As Liz & Dick In ‘Liz & Dick’

Yesterday we got our first look at Lindsay Lohan in hair and make-up as Elizabeth Taylor on the set of the upcoming made for TV biopic film Liz & Dick. As you may recall, the photo we saw yesterday was pretty underwhelming. Today we get to see new photos of Lindsay and her co-star Grant Bowler in character as Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton and, thankfully, these photos look much better than the one we saw yesterday. The folks producing this made for TV movie have released the first official promo photo from Liz & Dick and it’s a surprisingly impressive photo. DC Comics Reveals Green Lantern As Its Gay Superhero

A couple of weeks ago we first learned that DC Comics is planning to reintroduce a major superhero character as gay. Today we find out which superhero DC Comics has selected. As soon as the news was first reported, fans speculated that the new gay character might be someone as big as Superman or as second tier as Robin. Today we learn that the newly reintroduced gay character is none other than Green Lantern himself. Now, those of you familiar with the character know that there are a few different Green Lanterns in the DC Comics universe (Alan Scott, Hal Jordan, Guy Gardner, Kyle Rayner and John Stewart). We have been waiting for this moment since Jessica Simpson and her fiancé Eric Johnson welcomed their daughter Maxwell Drew on May 1st, and today we finally have the FIRST PHOTO of the blessed newborn. Jessica and Eric decided to wait to unveil the first pics of their baby girl, choosing not to unveil the pics themselves, and allegedly sold the photos to People magazine for $800,000. While celebs like Hilary Duff and Beyoncé chose to give away the first photos of their children, other celebs prefer to cash in the huge amounts of money that can come with the rights to those exclusive first pics.
