It’s no secret that David Beckham is as fashionable as they come. Among the male fashionistas of the world, Becks is RIGHT up there at the top with the best of them. I dare say that Becks is one of if not THE most best-dressed man in the world … well, usually. Now, I get it … fashionistas cannot be fashionistas all of the time (well, except for the Anna Wintours of the world) and I am willing to forgive the occasional fashion faux pas or two … but some things are unforgivable. Utterly and Completely … unforgivable. David Beckham was spotted at Whole Foods here in SoCal this week wearing a very casual, very comfy outfit — no problem there. Stockton Johnson is an American fashion and beauty photographer who just shot an amazing portfolio for Elle Vietnam‘s September beauty story. Although I’ve never read this particular Elle, I was struck by these photos when I came across them on Fashion Gone Rogue. The models in the editorial are stunning and the makeup is to die for. I absolutely need this issue, if only to find out what brand of eyeliner they used here! It’s all just… glorious. The women are glowing all over the place and their delicious-looking lip colors remind me of candy apples. I want, I want, I want! Sung Hee Kim and Ma Jing posed for the beauty story and their make-up artist Nam Vo changed my liiife! Peep the awesome accessories too (wardrobe  by Susan Joy). Also, Xuân Lan (described as ‘the Kate Moss of Vietnam‘) looked equally amazing on the cover. Join me for a gush-session in the gallery.

Disney Characters Get SUPER Skinny For An Upcoming Ad Campaign For Barneys New York

Disney has teamed up with Barneys New York for an upcoming ad campaign that allows some of their most iconic characters to be used in a very surprising way. Barneys has slimmed down and stretched out these characters to ridiculously skinny proportions so that they can “model” their fashions. As you can see below, Minnie Mouse, Daisy Duck and Goofy are almost unrecognizable in the just-released promo images from the ad campaign. Liz Olsen changed my life back in 2011 when she starred in Sean Durkin‘s award-winning film about a young girl who escapes from a cult, Martha Marcy May Marlene. Ever since then I’ve had my eye on the younger Olsen sister who’s got a slew of new films in the works. Liberal Arts (with Josh Radnor) hits theatres next month and she’s also working on Very Good Girls with Demi Moore and Dakota Fanning. I luuurve me some Elizabeth and I was so pumped to see her in this shoot for Bullett Magazine. The look is very pink, and very high fashion princess-y so I’m definitely feeling it. Minimalist fashion designer Jil Sander debuted her new collection in Milan this week and among her pricey accessories is a plain paper bag that will retail for around $290. That’s right … a plain paper bag … just like the plain paper bags we used to carry our lunches in when we were in junior high school. Because this plain paper bag is “designed” by Jil Sander, the cost for this plain paper bag is a bit higher than we are accustomed to paying for plain paper bags. Little Miss Harper Seven was seen in the company of her mother Victoria Beckham over the weekend as the ladies showed up to a birthday party at Giggles N’ Hugs here in LA and as you can see in the photo below, Harper was sportin’ a pair of FIERCE baby shoes. Now, it’s no secret that her mama Vicki B. is a huge fan of shoes (the higher heeled the better) so it should come as no surprise that VB is passing along her love of shoes to Harper. Madewell is a brand that I’m just becoming familiar with, and it’s all thanks to the one and only Solange. Beyoncé‘s baby sis is the new face of the fashion line and it all makes sense when you visit their website. Their clothes are bold, beauitful, and deliver an eclectic array of style and substance. In other words… I’ma need their polka dot dresses. And their multi-colored denim. And the cardigans. All of them. Now. Peep the gallery to see Solange do her thang in the new campaign photos. Their theme of is ‘Mix well. Madewell,’ and methinks Solange as the DJ/it girl exudes this image quite well. Plus, I’m hating on her hair. Totally gonna try to pull off that ‘fro in, like, 6-9 months. Gimme some time… and some Madewell. Stat!

Badgalriri ain’t goin’ nowhere! The last time many of us saw Rihanna she was doing an interview with Oprah and revealing a more vulnerable side. But today we see that ‘vulnerability’ has many forms… and sometimes it comes in the form of a middle finger… with scary pointy-nails. Rihanna was spotted (wearing, um, something…) heading into a go-kart racing spot with ya boy Rob Kardashian. Then she and Rob hit up the track with some other friends. Apparently, Rihanna was driving car #16 (yes, that’s important) and won the first race. Congrats on the win, Riri! And congrats on that amazingly well-manicured middle finger of yours ;)

Hampton University should seriously consider getting it together. The Historically Black College has a very special dean on its board and, according to that dean, black students who actually want to succeed in life will be unable to do so with braids or cornrows in their hair.
