Janet Jackson and her husband Wissam Al Mana, who have been pretty much out of the public eye for the past year, surfaced recently by posting photos from their recent UNICEF-sponsored visit overseas on JJ‘s official Facebook profile. As you can see in the gallery presented here, Janet and Wissam spent quite a bit of time visiting with children in Syria and Jerusalem. The photos are are really great … not because they feature Janet Jackson (which is really great in and of itself) but because of how happy the children look in every single photo. I love this so much.
For absolutely no reason and without any context at all, I present to you a short video of actor/artist James Franco lip-syncing Like A Virgin by Madonna. James shared this video performance on his official Facebook profile and as you can see below, he really got into his performance. The title says it all, click below to see for yourselves. More »
"Sorry to disappoint fans"
Last week it was widely reported that JK Rowling was planning to release 12 Harry Potter-themed short stories over the 12 days leading up to Xmas this month on her official website Pottermore. Today we get official clarification from the site that we are not getting 12 short stories at all. The statement makes clear that media outlets got the story wrong from the start and clarify that they never promised 12 short stories. What fans will get on Pottermore of the 12 days of Xmas are “surprises” which they won’t specifically reveal. So, if you were looking forward to reading a dozen new Harry Potter short stories this month, you’re going to be sorely disappointed by the announcement below. More »

"I am under vicious attack"
Scott Stapp, the frontman for the band Creed, posted a 16-minute long video on the band’s official Facebook page wherein he reveals that he is broke and homeless. Stapp claims that an audit of his finances uncovered that much of his money had been “stolen” from him and he maintains that the person(s) responsible for the theft have launched a smear campaign to discredit him. Scott maintains that he is “living in a Holiday Inn” after he was forced to “live in his truck” and at one point, he didn’t have enough money to eat … which resulted in his being hospitalized. Whatever is going on, things don’t sound too great for Stapp. Click below to watch his video in full and get caught up on what is going on in Scott Stapp‘s life these days. More »

I think he hates the Internet again
When Prince finally joined social media back in August of 2013, I was convinced that the musical genius had FINALLY wizened up and realized that he needed to embrace the Internet instead of rallying against it. Just this past August, he used his social media accounts to promote the release of two new albums and earlier this month, Prince shared his first selfie on his official Facebook profile. Today we learn that, without warning, Prince has deleted his official Twitter and Facebook accounts. They’re dunzo, y’all. He has also pulled all but 3 videos off his official You Tube page. In one fell swoop, Prince has seemingly decided to hate the Internet again and quit social media. More »
"I was instructed to NEVER tell anyone."
Here’s an interesting point that readers are starting to make about the Bill Cosby rape/sexual assault/predatory behavior accusations. Not one celebrity who has worked closely with Cosby over the years has come forward to defend his name. Raven-Symoné only came forward to refute rumors that he sexually assaulted her, but we haven’t seen any rallying around Cosby. I think that speaks volumes. And now we have yet another actress, Michelle Hurd, coming forward and speaking out about her experience with Cosby. She was fortunate enough to not have been attacked by him, but she says Cosby certainly tried. Click inside for more.

SO Messed Up
Okay, Kerry, I’ve had about enough. I love you, really I do. You’ve been bringing it on Scandal. You’ve got a new movie coming out. You’re gorgeous, I love you… but I can’t be friends with you right now. Ummmm, have you all seen these photos she’s posting to Instagram lately? As if to say, “My husband is gorgeous and I’m happy with him, but I continue to surround myself with other gorgeous men because that’s just my world and I’m living my life, so, Shannon, don’t hate the player, hate the game.” Yeah, no. Kerry and I have beef. Click inside for more!
