Early last month we learned that Sienna Miller and beau Tom Sturridge are expecting the birth of their first child together and today we are hearing that the couple have gotten themselves engaged to be married. Sienna stepped out this past weekend with a BIG phat diamond engagement rock on her finger … which, you gotta admit, seems like pretty clear proof that she and Tom have decided to get themselves hitched.

They have been engaged for a few months now, but finally the lovely Camila Alves has some BLING on her ring finger. Matthew McConaughey popped the question to the mother of his two children, Levi and Vida, and yesterday Camila showed us all the ring that will wed her to Matthew. Camila walked the red carpet at QVC’s New York Fashion Week runway show and was photographed in a gorgeous red dress and some SPARKLE on her left hand.

In the first week of January we heard that the gorgeous Drew Barrymore was engaged to her beau, Will Kopelman. They seem so blissfully happy (did you see that engagement photo that they released?) Trent reported in Les News last week that there are rumors going around that Drew is even considering converting to Judaism for Will and his family. Earlier this month we learned the happy news that Aretha Franklin and her longtime companion William Willie Wilkerson got themselves engaged to be married. Today we learn that Aretha has changed her mind and decided to call off the engagement. In an official statement released today, Aretha reveals that she and Willie were “moving too fast” and got engaged too soon. It’s unclear if Aretha and Willie are still romantically involved but we do know for sure that they are NOT getting married.

This morning we got the news about Kristin Cavallari‘s pregnancy with Jay Cutler‘s baby months after they got (re)engaged in November. Pregnancies and bump watching is one of my all time favorite topics to write about and follow, and the news this morning got me thinking about the (somewhat controversial?) topic of pregnancy before marriage. We have seen lots of celebs over the past few years get engaged, have a baby, then get hitched. We’ve also seen baby, then engagement, and of course we have seen baby and no wedding at all.
