In the past few days reports have been flying around that actors Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher are on the verge of a break-up after cheating allegations about Ashton started to make the rounds. Over the past few days, Demi and Ashton have been living on separate coasts … she in NYC, he here in LA. The couple were even apart for their 6 year wedding anniversary last weekend. Today we learn that the couple have finally reunited and were spotted attending services at the Kabbalah Center here in SoCal yesterday. Could the couple’s marriage be on the mend … or do you think they’re merely trying to play nice for the public?

Ashton Kutcher, the normally tweet-crazy celeb who has remained relatively silent in the past few days as reports of his infidelity and alleged break-up of his marriage to wife Demi Moore spread like wildfire, has finally spoken out publicly about the rumors … in a kinda sorta way. Ashton posted a couple of tweets on his official Twitter profile that are widely believed to be in reference to the reports even tho he doesn’t come out and directly say that he is responding. According to the new issue of Star magazine, presumed happily-marrieds Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore are headed for a multimillion dollar divorce due to Ashton‘s cheating. Now, we all know these sorts of stories pop up from time to time … invariably a third party comes along to make the claim that she or he cheated with a married celeb and, well, there you have it. Star magazine found a woman who claims that she enjoyed an extramarital affair with Ashton and now that Demi knows, they’re dunzo … well, according to the mag. Last Wednesday the world was shocked by the sudden announcement from R.E.M. that the band has decided to retire from music after 31 years together. The announcement seemingly came out of nowhere and was posted on the band’s official website. Today we hear from R.E.M. guitarist Mike Mills about the band’s decision to call it quits in a new interview with Rolling Stone magazine. Read what he has to say below.

After we learned back in January that Twilight actor Taylor Lautner and actress Lily Collins would be starring together in a new film titled Abduction, the pair were spotted hanging out together as friends. Then the couple made it look as if they were dating, even tho no such thing was every confirmed as official. Cut to later in the year, Abduction opens in theaters and then we hear … Taylor and Lily are dunzo. HMMM. Could it be that the couple just couldn’t make their love affair work or … could the whole relationship thing have been a sham?

Last weekend we learned officially that Bravo TV decided to fire 4 of the 6 castmembers of The Real Housewives of NYC … and among them, Alex Van Kampen. This news likely came as a huge blow to Alex‘s husband Simon Van Kampen who REVELED in getting as much screentime as he could on the show. Now that she’s been given the axe, his chances of getting screentime (and the check that comes along with on camera screentime) have totally disappeared. Photogs managed to snap photos of Simon as he sat on his front stoop in Brooklyn, NY … and he looked SAD, y’all :(

After 31 years together as one of the most exciting, inventive and talented bands in modern rock, R.E.M. announced today that they are retiring. A blog post on the band’s official website went online today explaining, in their own words, why and how R.E.M. came to the decision to — as they put it — “call it a day”. Last weekend we learned officially that Bravo TV decided to fire 4 of the 6 castmembers of The Real Housewives of NYC and today we are hearing publicly from one of those fired castmembers for the first time since the firing. Jill Zarin — who started out as one of my faves and then slowly regressed into a bitter, hateful and jealous person — posted a statement on her official blog about being fired from the show. In addition, RHONYC alum Bethenny Frankel — who has her own show away from the Real Housewives franchise AND was almost lost at sea a few days ago — was asked about the firings and she offers her opinion. Last December, President Barack Obama signed the repeal of the US Military’s Don’t Ask Don’t Tell policy (which barred military service people from disclosing openly their homosexuality) and today, 9 months later, the DADT policy is OFFICIALLY DUNZO! The repeal went into effect at 12:01 AM today, from this point forward US service personel are FREE to come out and/or discuss openly their homosexuality without fear of being discharged from military service. What a great, great day for America it is TODAY!!!

In early August, Jennifer Lopez gave an interview to Vanity Fair magazine wherein she discussed her recent split from hubby Marc Anthony. Since that interview occurred, a report came out that claimed that the reason that J. Lo and Marc broke up was because of an extramarital affair he supposedly had with Jada Pinkett-Smith.
