"I cannot take this anymore."
As some of you may be WELL aware, there is a new mobile video game called Flappy Bird that has taken the world by storm … primarily because of how difficult the game is to play and how angry that makes most users. The deceptively simple game is notoriously difficult to master and that, I think, is why everyone loves to “hate” it. Just moments ago, the creator of Flappy Bird, Dong Nguyen, announced on his official Twitter profile that he is taking the game down tomorrow. It’s unclear what “taking the game down” means exactly but it sounds like the creator is ready to end the staggering success he has enjoyed in a very short time with Flappy Bird. Read his tweet messages below and see exactly what he has to say about the future of Flappy Bird. More »

Sad news for you fans of The X Factor, all 5 of you … Fox has decided to pull the plug and cancel the show. After only 3 seasons on the air, Simon Cowell‘s competitive singing reality show is now dunzo. You may recall that Simon re-teamed with his ex-American Idol co-judge Paula Abdul when he launched X Factor here in the US. Then he famously hired Britney Spears to be a judge in season 2 (and for the first time ever, I watched an entire season of the show). In season 3, Cowell brought Kelly Rowland and Paulina Rubio on board to judge the show alongside Demi Lovato (who, IMHO, was the best judge that show ever had). Thru it all, ratings for the show got worse and worse and Fox decided not to bring it back for a 4th season. The X Factor here in the US is Dunzo! More »

'The Tonight Show with Jay Leno' is Dunzo!
Back in April of last year we learned officially that Jay Leno would be replaced as host of The Tonight Show by Jimmy Fallon and last night was Leno‘s last show as host. As you might imagine, the show was an emotional one for Jay as he said goodbye to the late night talk show that he hosted for the past 22 years (tho, you may also remember that Jay stepped down a few years ago and was replaced by Conan O’Brien only to change his mind a few months later and take his job back, booting Conan off NBC altogether). Various celebs appeared on the show last night to pay homage to Leno on his last night as host including Oprah Winfrey, Jack Black, Carol Burnette … and Billy Crystal — Leno‘s very first guest when he started hosting The Tonight Show back in 1992. Click below to see some photos from last night’s episode and watch video of Jay Leno delivering his tearful goodbye at the end of the show. More »

Sad news for fans of the British boyband The Wanted. The band posted an official statement on their website today alerting the world that they have made the collective decision to “take time to pursue personal endeavours” when they finish their touring commitments this year. Taken at face value, the guys could merely be telling us that they are planning to take some time apart so that each member of the group can do their own solo thing — whatever that may be. The subtext of this official statement could just as easily be, the band is breaking up after we finish our tour … you’re hearing it from us first. Hmmm. Read on to see exactly what The Wanted are telling fans today. More »

Back in October we learned that NBC was planning to reboot the classic TV series Murder, She Wrote with Academy Award-winning actress Octavia Spencer in the lead role (made famous by actress Angela Lansbury, who originated the role of Jessica Fletcher). A few weeks after news of this Murder, She Wrote reboot made the rounds, Lansbury went on the record to voice her displeasure with the reboot plans by calling the planned project a “mistake”. Today we learn that NBC has made the decision to kill their plans to reboot the series, at least for right now. While the network leaves open the option to revisit these Murder, She Wrote reboot plans in the future, the plan to reboot the series now with Octavia Spencer is dunzo! More »

Back in September of 2012 we first learned that The CW was planning to produce a new Wonder Woman TV series titled Amazon that would tell the origin story of DC Comics superhero … in November of that same year, we learned that casting for the show was underway. In January of 2013, we learned the troubling news that The CW decided NOT to move forward with the show for the following Fall TV schedule, choosing instead to shelve the project for a possible later date. Today we learn definitively that The CW has killed the Amazon TV series. Wonder Woman will NOT be coming to TV anytime soon :( More »

Earlier this month we learned that a new digital currency was being launched called Coinye West which was inspired by everyone’s favorite rapper Kanye West. A couple of days later, we learned that Kanye sicked his legal team on the makers of Coinye West in an effort to shut down the cryptocurrency. The currency folks changed the name to simply Coinye and stopped using a cartoon of Kanye‘s head to promote the digital currency … and they went ahead with the launch of the service. Undaunted, Kanye‘s legal team continued to press for the shut down of Coinye and today we learn that they succeeded. The makers of Coinye have shut down their service and closed up shop. Coinye West is dunzo, y’all. More »

Wow! In the saddest news to come completely out of NOWHERE today we learn that presumed happily married couple Hilary Duff and Mike Comrie have decided to split up! Hilary and Mike got married back in 2010 after dating for some time and are the parents of a beautiful young son named Luca Cruz. As you may know, we’ve been hearing a bit about Hilary’s return to the recording studio as she plans to release a new album this year but as far as I could tell, there was no talk at all of marital discord between the two. According to sources, there wasn’t a major reason for the break up … apparently, we hear, the couple just grew apart. Dang. Click below to learn more and please weep with me … cuz Hilary Duff and her husband Mike Comrie are dunzo. More »

The Engagement Has Been Called Off
Bummer news this morning. Back in July of last year we learned that Kelly Osbourne and Matthew Mosshart had decided to make it official after two years of dating each other. I was kind of psyched for Kelly and her vegan chef! It seemed like they were happy together and I thought they were really adorable. But apparently the engagement has not been going so smoothly, and the couple has decided to call it quits. Click inside for more.
