Also, we have way too many details about this prenup
Sometimes, these kinds of stories can be so weird. I’m reading this article on TMZ like, “Dude! We know way too much here!” It is so bizarre to feel like I know exactly how much Nick Cannon paid for Mariah Carey‘s engagement ring, and exactly how big of a loan he had to take it. It’s crazy. Now that Cannon has officially filed for divorce, and the DUNZO train has pulled off, full steam ahead, I think we’re going to be hearing more very specific details like this. Click inside to find out how Carey could end up paying her ex $500,000.

"It is with great disappointment and regret ..."
Bummer news for fans of the rock band the Black Crowes … according to a statement released by guitarist Rich Robinson, the band has officially broken up. It turns out that there has been some infighting in the band about group membership, stake in the band and of course money and because things have reached an impasse, Robinson says, the band has to break up. I can’t say that I’m the biggest fan of the Black Crowes but I’ve always respected their work and really do like many of their big singles. It’s sad that the group’s legacy has to be tarnished by this messy-sounding break up but … such is rock ‘n roll. More »
They've been living apart for a while now
This has been such a great year for Chris Rock, with his new movie Top Five out, and those great editorials he’s been writing—it’s sad to have to report on this. I don’t see Chris Rock and his wife Malaak-Compton Rock together often, but I always figured it was because they were just incredibly private. And this may be true, but the couple has also been going through a rough time for years now, and they are ready to move on from the relationship. Click inside to learn more.
Earlier this week we learned the sad news that Tim Burton and Helena Bonham Carter, who were together for 13 years, decided to officially separate after they started growing apart earlier this year. Yesterday, on the morning after Xmas, Tim and Helena put up a united front and came together to take their children out for a post-Xmas lunch. It’s hard to tell if the couple were looking miserable because of the break-up, miserable because of the cold weather or miserable because they always look miserable but … they did look kinda miserable. Hmmm. More »
"They're barely talking", says a source
In September we learned that actress Eva Mendes gave birth to her baby with Ryan Gosling. In November, she revealed the inspiration for their daugther’s name Esmeralda Amada and early this month, she appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show to talk a tiny bit about being a new mother. All the while, Ryan has been hard at work on the set of his new movie. Today we are hearing a very troubling rumor that the couple aren’t doing so well in the wake of the birth of their baby because the reportedly estranged couple is “barely talking” to one another. HMMM. Could it be? Could new babydaddy Ryan really be lookin’ to be single again? More »

After 13 years together :(
Very sad news to pass along … it is being reported that director Tim Burton and his actress/muse wife Helena Bonham Carter have decided to split after 13 years together. Ever since the pair met on the set of Planet of the Apes way back in 2001, the couple have been pretty much inseparable … both personally and professionally. According to the statement released by Helena‘s press rep, the couple separated earlier this year and have decided to make the split more official by going public. Ugh. So sad. More »
She went INNNN
Ugh. I’m doing that thing where I’m acting like this relationship has some sort of effect on me… but… I can’t help it! Breakups suck so much, and I am sad for Nicki and Safaree right now! Okay, so yesterday I shared those videos of Nicki Minaj’s intimate interview with Angie Martinez, where she was talking about going through this breakup with her loooong-time boyfriend Safaree Samuels. It was clear that Nicki hadn’t quite accepted it too, because she admitted that she wasn’t even sure if they were really really broken up, but last night’s Twitter exchange might be the straw that broke this camel’s back… or whatever. Nicki and Safaree both went at it, and it’s clear that they’re both really hurt over some stuff—Nicki even suggested that Safaree was trying to blackmail her with a tape, which everyone is assuming means “sex tape.” Click inside for more!
From Here to Eternity
Back in April, we learned that Stephen Colbert was selected by CBS to replace David Letterman as the host of The Late Show when he retires next year — which meant that Colbert‘s own TV show, The Colbert Report, had to end. Last night, the final episode of The Colbert Report aired on Comedy Central and it went out with a massive bang. Stephen Colbert pulled together a massively impressive group of celebrities (like Bryan Cranston, Elijah Wood and Willie Nelson), politicians (like President Bill Clinton, Henry Kissinger and Senator Cory Booker), luminaries (like Charlie Rose, Katie Couric and Smaug) and Big Bird for a live musical performance that is truly a must-see. Click below to watch the performance and Colbert‘s absolutely final gag/skit and see how The Colbert Report came to a final end. More »
Peace the Spork Out
Earlier today we learned that Sony Pictures decided to cancel the NYC premiere of their controversial movie The Interview after a terrorist threat was made against the promotion and release of the film. Sony also decided to allow movie theater chains to opt out of showing the movie in their theaters if they so desired. Just moments ago, Sony released an official statement that they are formally canceling the theatrical release of The Interview altogether. It remains to be seen if the studio is planning to release the movie in any other format but, for now, The Interview is dunzo! More »

"The world will be full of fear."
For the past few weeks, Sony Pictures has been reeling from a massive computer hack that has resulted in the release of embarrassing emails among studio executives, confidential information regarding employee personal information, the leaking of full movies not yet released in theaters and more. Yesterday afternoon, a serious threat that made reference to September 11 was made by anonymous persons (believed to be the hackers, possibly connected to North Korea) against the studio that resulted in the decision to cancel the NYC premiere of the movie The Interview. The Interview, as you may know, is a comedic film starring James Franco and Seth Rogen that features the fictional assassination of North Korean leader Kim Jong-un. It is believed that the hack and the terrorist threat are the result of Sony‘s attempt to release this movie in theaters. More »
