This is the part where we act like Justin Bieber has never shown off his chesticles online before, and he’s now just doing it to prove that he’s totally over Selena Gomez (even though reports from yesterday stated otherwise). So yeah, Justin Bieber posted the quintessential ‘I’m Officially Single‘ pic on his Instagram last night– and don’t act like you don’t know what that picture is, y’all. It usually involves very little clothing and a new tattoo covering up the old one of that guy’s name who you’re totally over now… wait. Sorry, no. Um. It mainly involves very little clothing. So, I kinda hate myself for blogging about this in the middle of the night (I’m still on Eastern Time as I’m still in Detroit) but this is the kind of thing that you have to blog about as soon as it happens. Longtime lovebirds Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber have BROKEN UP, y’all! According to E! News‘s Marc Malkin, Justena decided to end their relationship a week ago and are only just now making the news public. While there are a horde of diehard Beliebers out there who must be thrilled that Selena and Justin are no more, I know there are other folks who will be heartbroken that this young love affair has come to end. Anderson Cooper’s Daytime Talk Show Has Been Canceled

Last year we learned that Anderson Cooper was getting his own daytime talk show called Anderson. The ratings for the first season weren’t that great so the show got revamped a little bit for season 2 and the show was renamed Anderson Live. Welp, the ratings for the second season have still been pretty bad and as a result, Warner Bros. has announced that the show will be canceled at the end of this second season. Anderson Cooper remains one of CNN‘s most popular broadcasters but, apparently, he just can’t carry a daytime talkshow all on his own. More »

Sad news coming from the Simpson family … Jessica and Ashlee Simpson‘s parents Tina and Joe Simpson are divorcing after 34 years of marriage. As you may know, Papa Joe Simpson was responsible for turning his daughters Jessica and Ashlee into pop stars in large part due to the support and hard work by Mama Tina Simpson. Baptist minister turned music manager manager Joe Simpson gave up his ministry for the fame and fortune of his daughters … and now that he and Tina are splitting, they must battle for control of the fortune they amassed thru their children. Is is being reported that Tina filed for divorce last month, with Joe filing his own divorce papers shortly thereafter. But no matter who filed first, the fact remains that Mama and Papa Simpson are dunzo! More »

Yeah, well, today we learn of another pretty major lifestyle change in the life of Clark Kent / Superman. Almost since his creation back in 1940, Superman‘s secret identity — the mild-mannered Clark Kent — has worked as a news reporter for the fictional newspaper The Daily Planet. Today we learn that Clark will be quitting The Daily Planet in Superman issue no. 13 … because he plans to start writing a blog. Yes, folks, the times they are a-changin’. More »

At the start of this year, Scarlett Johansson started up a new relationship with a dude named Nate Naylor. From the start, the couple were hot and heavy but it wasn’t clear if this was a post-divorce fling or a serious romance. In March, Scarlett and Nate agreed to pose for photos that would be used to raise money for charity … and things looked like they were on the right track. But over the Summer, Scarlett was spotted Nate-less on holiday. She was photographed lookin’ awfully cozy with a new dude (who may or may not have been her very hands-on bodyguard) and then at the Democratic National Convention in September, she was lookin’ awfully cozy with her ex-lover Jared Leto (again, Nate was nowhere to be seen).
