"My style does not fit with the creative direction of the show"
It looks like the fallout from the offensive comments made by co-host Giuliana Rancic about Zendaya‘s hair on the E! show Fashion Police continues to wreak havoc for the show because late last night night, new co-host Kathy Griffin went and quit the show. Kathy posted a lengthy message on her official Twitter profile outlining her reasons for quitting the show just about two weeks after fellow co-host Kelly Osbourne quit the show. Kathy, as you may know, was brought on as a host of Fashion Police to replace the late Joan Rivers who passed away last year. But after only 7 episodes as new co-host, Kathy has decided to leave the show because, she says, she does not what her “comedy to contribute to a culture of unattainable perfectionism and intolerance towards difference“. Click below to read Kathy‘s full statement and a follow-up statement released by E! confirming Griffin‘s departure. More »

She has had it
Welp, it sounds like the Giuliana Rancic / Zendaya hair controversy was the last straw for Kelly Osbourne because she just quit as co-host of Fashion Police on E! "The Internet is the ugliest reflection of man kind there is."
Aussie rapper Iggy Azalea has decided that she is done with Twitter and, likely, done with all of social media … at least for the foreseeable future. Over the past few days, Iggy has been holiday with her boyfriend Nick Young and she was photographed wearing a bikini. Her Twitter account was subsequently flooded with nasty comments about her appearance, comments that Iggy didn’t see until she returned from her vacation and accessed her official Twitter profile. As a result of the offensive comments that were made about her, Azalea has decided to quit Twitter and let her management team handle her account in her place. Before she quit, tho, Iggy posted a series of tweets explaining her decision to leave Twitter … which you can read in full below. More »

"I listen to my doctors"
Yesterday we learned the somewhat surprising news that Rosie O’Donnell has decided to leave her job as co-host of The View, divorce her wife of three years Michelle Rounds and star in an HBO stand up comedy special — all at the same time. Rosie made an in-person press appearance yesterday at a screening of her new HBO special Rosie O’Donnell: A Heartfelt Stand Up and made herself available to answer questions about her professional and private life. According to Rosie, it was her doctors who convinced her to quit The View because the stress on her heart was becoming too much to handle. For Rosie, quitting The View was a life or death situation. So … Rosie O’Donnell is going through a few changes right now … pretty much all at the same time. After Rosie quit co-hosting The View all those years ago, ABC inexplicably thought it would be a great idea to bring her back as co-host for the current season of the show. Today we learn that Rosie has decided to quit The View — again. Not only is Rosie quitting the TV show but she is also quitting her most recent marriage to Michelle Rounds. They are dunzo. It’s unclear which break-up came first, with The View or with wife Michelle, but it sounds like Rosie is leaving The View to spend time with her children in the wake of the end of her marriage. The positive news, depending on how you look at it, is that Rosie will be starring in a new HBO stand up comedy special titled A Hearfelt Stand Up just one day after she leaves The View. She may be ending a project and a marriage but bully her for starring in a new stand up comedy special. More »
