Just before Xmas, we learned officially from Bethenny Frankel that she and husband Jason Hoppy were separated. Today we learn that she has moved forward and formally filed for divorce. Not only has Bethenny filed the legal paperwork to begin divorce proceedings, she has also filed paperwork to let Hoppy know that she is going after child support as well. Dang. More »

All divorces are sad, troubling experiences… at least in the beginning. Money can’t buy happiness, but it can afford you a really good therapist and an ish-load of chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream, both of which can be quite effective when working through most sad and troubling experiences. When Camille Grammer‘s divorce settlement with Kelsey Grammer is finalized (the two have been divorced since 2011), she’ll have a little bit of money with which to buy some of these important things… and by ‘a little bit’ I mean $30 million. Must be nice. The money part… not the divorce. Divorce sad. Money good. Deets inside!

Dang, well that was fast. Back in late June we learned that Katie Holmes filed for divorce from hubby Tom Cruise. In July, just over a week later, we learned that the couple reached an amicable divorce settlement. Today, just over a month later, we learn that the couple’s divorce is official. A judge in NY signed off on the couple’s divorce settlement this week and just like that … TomKat is dunzo for reals. More »

Listen: Nas Blames Kelis For Their Divorce On His Song ‘Bye Baby’

Recently we got to see Nas‘s somewhat controversial new album cover. The rapper is pictured holding Kelis‘s wedding dress, which looks especially suspect above the words “Life Is Good.” But Kelis came forward and said she respected Nas as an artist, so we figured it was okay. Now Nas has gone and released a track off the upcoming album where he shares some intimate details about Kelis and their relationship. It’s interesting that he’s opening up on this album (he’s got another great song about his daughter, which I included on our list of Best Summer Songs… So Far), but I feel like he skipped a few important deets on Bye Baby. Take a listen inside and tell me if Nas‘s version of the story seems a bit skewed.

Katie Holmes & Tom Cruise Have Reached A Divorce Settlement

Well that was fast. Less than two weeks after Katie Holmes stunned Tom Cruise with divorce papers after 5 years of marriage, Holmes‘s attorney has announced that a divorce settlement has been reached between the parties. As you may recall, Katie filed for divorce in the state of New York … she also made it clear that she was going after full custody of the couple’s only child Suri. Just a couple of days ago, we learned that the attorneys were working on a settlement — but I don’t think anyone expected the settlement to be made so quickly. The fact that a divorce settlement has been reached so quickly and that the settlement announcement is being made by Katie‘s attorney leads me to believe that she is getting exactly what she wants from this surprisingly quick divorce. Specifics about the settlement have not been made public but I am more convinced than ever that Katie Holmes is in control and she is getting everything that she wants from her split from Tom. Molly is a film co-written and co-produced by Katie Holmes who is, by the way, divorcing her husband Tom Cruise. In case ya missed it. While Molly makes for an interesting project (because Katie will be playing a single mother, as she becomes one herself), it’s one of a few new things the 33-year old actress has lined up. I’m not sure, but between this news and that Elle magazine shoot, it seems like things are really about to go down with Ms. Holmes! Deets inside.

Back in October of 2010 we first learned that Courtney Cox-Arquette and hubby David Arquette decided to end their relationship. In the months that followed, there was some back and forth embarrassment in the media but for the most part, the couple remained civil. In the past 2 years that the couple have been separated, Courteney and David have seemingly remained friendly … to the point that I totally forgot they were estranged. Today, on the 13th anniversary of the couple’s wedding, David legally filed for divorce from Courteney. Friends or not, it would seem the couple are truly no longer interested in being married. The still-married Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony broke up back in June of last year. Since that time, J. Lo has coupled up with a much younger toyboy and Marc has moved forward himself as a single man. When last we heard from him about the split, he shared with ABC‘s Nightline that there was nothing sensationalistic that caused the break-up … even still, neither party officially filed for divorce … until now. Heidi Klum Surfaces With Her Kids In The Wake Of Divorce News

Yesterday we heard that Heidi Klum and Seal had officially ended their marriage separation by filing for divorce. They separated in January, and while we all hoped that they would reconcile, the reality of their situation came crashing down this week as we learned that their relationship was indeed over. Today we have pics of Heidi out and about with her kids, carrying on her role as mom, as she takes them to a karate class, and then to a toy store in Brentwood, California. More »
