The TV Guide
Yesterday was a fun, really busy day for me. I spent the early part of my day in Disneyland with my friends and then, after we got dumped on by rain a couple of times, I made my way back to LA so that I could watch the Academy Awards with Emma and Duke while Josh was busy AT the Oscars. The Disney day was fun but far too short. The real reason why yesterday’s trip to Disneyland was so fun was because my Sons of Anakin social club inducted two new members into the family. Not even the rain could put a damper on the day’s festivities. It’s always a great day when someone turns to the Dark Side. More »

Eddie Redmayne won the Best Actor Oscar at the Academy Awards last night for his role as scientist Stephen Hawking in the film The Theory of Everything … just as I hoped. Back when I first saw and reviewed The Theory of Everything, I knew that Eddie would be a lock for an Academy Award nomination and I hoped that he would win the award. Hell, I even cried the first time I saw the first trailer for Theory months before the movie came out … I think I just knew that he had to win. On Facebook today, Stephen Hawking shared a congratulatory tribute to Eddie Redmayne for his Oscar win, which you can read below. More »
Kirk Cameron is the Biggest Loser
Last month we learned which horrible films released in the last year were nominated for the 35th annual Golden Raspberry Awards and last night, the Razzies were handed out in
grand fashion at their annual awards ceremony in Hollywood, CA. As you may recall, Transformers: Age of Extinction managed to garner the most nominations but it turns out that the absolutely atrocious movie Kirk Cameron Saves Christmas was the biggest winner of the night. Of course, at the Razzie Awards the biggest winner is the biggest loser so … I’d say, the Golden Raspberry Awards really got it absolutely right this year :D More »
Almost 3 times the amount requested to fund their new album
Last month we learned that TLC decided to crowdfund production of their new album via Kickstarter and just under three days after their Kickstarter project was launched, they reached their goal and successfully funded the project. Even still, the Kickstarter remained open for funding and ended up raising over $430 thousand dollars … almost three times the $150 thousand dollar goal. Wow. Clearly, fans (like Katy Perry and New Kids on the Block, not to mention the countless TLC fans around the world) really wanted to be part of this new album Kickstarter project. Click below to read what Tionne T-Boz Watkins and Rozonda Chilli Thomas have to say to fans about the money they raised for their album and learn more deets about the album to come. More »

The 3 songs she performed last night are in HIGH demand
I think it’s pretty safe to say that Missy Misdemeanor Elliott totally stole the ENTIRE Super Bowl Halftime Show last night (sorry Katy, sorry Lenny) with her explosive medley performance of Get Ur Freak On, Work It and Lose Control … which is evidenced by the fact that all three songs are now in the Top 20 Singles Chart on iTunes. Missy‘s hits from the early ’00s are now selling alongside new singles by Rihanna, Taylor Swift, Meghan Trainor and Mark Ronson. Missy has been teasing for some time now a return to the music scene with new music but she has proven that all she has to do is jump up on the concert stage to perform her classic old songs and she can turn them into hits all over again.
