Charlie Sheen Gets Booed Off Stage In NYC

"I love you New York... you're the best crowd ever. Well, some of you"

Last weekend, trainwreck Charlie Sheen kicked off his new My Violent Torpedo of Truth / Defeat is Not an Option tour in Detroit, MI and bombed so badly that he was booed off stage by the members of the audience who did not walk out of the show early. Inexplicably, Sheen was treated to a hero’s welcome in Chicago, IL and Cleveland, OH at the subsequent tour stops this week (apparently, there is no accounting for taste). Last night, Sheen took his show to Radio City Music Hall in NYC, NY and was again met with an unappreciative crowd. Apparently the folks in NYC, like the folks in Detroit, know when they are being had … so after booing him, Sheen quit the show early and bolted for the door. More »

Charlie Sheen’s Tour BOMBS In Detroit, MI

Fans Heckled, Booed Then Walked Out of His Opening Night Show

Last month we learned that trainwreck mess Charlie Sheen was planning a comedy tour around the US in an attempt to cash in on the notoriety his crazy behavior of late has generated. Dubbed the My Violent Torpedo of Truth / Defeat is Not an Option tour, Sheen kicked off his show in Detroit, MI last night. As I understand it, there was considerable interest in the show before Sheen took the stage … but once he started doing, well, whatever it is that he does on stage, the audience got bored and started heckling him before they got angry and started booing him … before they got fed up and walked out of the theater. By pretty much all accounts, Charlie Sheen bombed on his first night as a stand up comic … which, really, should come as no surprise to anyone. More »

Salem Bring Their Spooky Sound To LA

The TV Guide

Ever since I fell in love with the Michigan band Salem last year (to the point that I named their debut album King Night as my #1 Album of 2010), I’ve been DYING to see the band live on stage. Last night, at long last, Salem finally brought their show to SoCal and my BFF Angie and I got to see them live for the first time. I was thrilled to see that Salem are able to bring the amazingness live in much the same way they do on their album. They put on one Hell of a show … literally. More »
