Watch: Beyoncé Releases A Promo Video For Her ‘Mrs. Carter Show’ World Tour 2014

"Welcome"
Hey, Mrs. Carter

Beyoncé, who spent half of 2013 snatching wigs left and right with her Mrs. Carter Show World Tour, is currently touring Europe with the 2014 version of her tour and is managing to outdo all of the wig snatching she did last year with a newly revamped show. This new incarnation of the Mrs. Carter Show features some of the new songs she released on her newest album Beyoncé, much to the glee of her European fans. I was able to see Beyoncé‘s show twice last year but the show I saw was her old, pre-Beyoncé show. Click the embed above to see the promo video for the new version of the Mrs. Carter Show — which is a must see! If Bey is coming to your town, you better get tix. Man, I wish I could see this new version of the show. This video is just killing me right now.

Watch: Cher Kicks Off Her Final Concert Tour In Phoenix, AZ

'Dressed To Kill'

Last weekend we learned the sad news that Cher and longtime BFF/fashion designer Bob Mackie kinda broke up when after 42 years of working together on her amazing costumes, Mackie decided that he was too bizzy with other projects to design costumes for her final concert tour. As you may recall, Cher tweeted openly about her disappointment in Mackie‘s decision not to work with her. Last night, in Phoenix, AZ, Cher kicked off her Dressed To Kill Tour … but according to her, the show didn’t really go as smoothly as she would’ve liked. According to a series of tweets posted on her official Twitter profile, Cher reveals that she only got to try on her costumes and wigs mere hours before her first show last night. Click through the gallery presented here and then click below to read Cher‘s tweets (in her trademark, borderline illegible Cherspeak) regarding the start of her Dressed To Kill Tour last night as well as the show’s opening number. Watch: Miley Cyrus’s Family Bus Catches Fire

"bus down!"

Drama seems to follow the Cyrus family everywhere they go but this time around, Miley Cyrus is NOT the one involved with this latest bit of dramz. Noah Cyrus, Miley‘s little sister, posted a video on her official Instagram profile of the Cyrus family bus engulfed in flames by the side of the road. As I understand it, the bus is not officially part of the Miley‘s BANGERZ Tour contingent but it is the bus that Miley‘s family was riding in from tour stop to tour stop. No word on what caused the bus to catch fire but as you can see below, the whole thing got burned up pretty bad. More »

Cher & Costume Designer Bob Mackie Are Dunzo!

"Telling you something that has broken my heart"

Very, very sad news to pass along today … legendary BFFs Cher and Bob Mackie, who have been collaborating on fabulous costumes and fashions since 1972, are dunzo. Finit. Caput. Cher, as you may know, is heading out on a new concert tour this year called the Dressed to Kill Tour which she says will be her last, ever. She tells us that she reached out to Mackie as she has for the past 42 years to have him design the costumes for her tour and he flat out refused to work with her due to, he says, other obligations. Cher shared the sad news on her official Twitter profile yesterday and Bob Mackie issued a statement in response. Click below to read what she said/he said about the pair’s professional split. Watch: Miley Cyrus Goes On An Expletive-Laden Rant On The Concert Stage

But she did so for a good cause

Miley Cyrus has been doing some controversial (and very gross) things on stage during her BANGERZ Tour as it rolls across the country but today we learn that she actually did something kinda cool during her stop in Dallas, TX this week. Apparently, Miley noticed that security at the concert venue laid the smackdown on a fan who was taking photos during her show. Seeing her fan get harassed by the popo did not sit well with her so she launched into a rant from the stage that was recorded by a different fan in the audience who wasn’t getting harassed by security for taking photos. Click below to watch video of Miley boldly standing up for fans’ concert rights. More »

Skinny Puppy Invades LA

The TV Guide

Yesterday evening I got to hang out with Tamar for a showing of The LEGO Movie even tho I had already seen it with my friend Courtney a few weeks ago. Tam had yet to see it and I wanted to spend time with Tam so it was win/win for both of us. I loved the movie just as much as I did when I originally saw it so I can attest that the movie is worth multiple viewings. After the movie, I made my way to The Mayan Theater in downtown LA to see the industrial band Skinny Puppy live in concert. I’ve been a fan of SP for many, many years and it’s been quite a few years since I last saw them in concert so … yeah, I was really excited to see them live again. More »

Watch: Bruce Springsteen Performs ‘Royals’ By Lorde In New Zealand

"I rule in my fantasy"
You can call him 'Queen Bee'

The legendary Bruce Springsteen performed a concert at the Mt. Smart Stadium in Auckland, New Zealand last night (well tonight there, last night here) and he decided to pay homage to one of New Zealand’s own by performing a cover of Lorde‘s world-wide smash hit single Royals. Yes, Bruce covered Lorde … as only Bruce can do. Naturally, he amended the lyrics a little bit to suit his needs but for the most part, he did his best to pay tribute to Lorde‘s Grammy award-winning song … much to her glee, I’m sure. Click the embed above to watch Bruce‘s cover of Royals and see what you think of his take on Lorde‘s song. As far as compliments go, this seems like a pretty significant one … I’m quite certain that Lorde is pretty pleased with herself right now :)
