This Is What Cher Looks Like When Bob Mackie Doesn’t Design The Costumes For Her Tour

No No No

Last month we learned that Bob Mackie decided that he didn’t have the time to design the costumes for Cher‘s final concert tour but when her tour kicked off in Phoenix, AZ, it looked like she managed to find a decent costume designer to do the job. Last night in Boston, MA, Cher debuted a new tour costume and, sadly, I hate to say that it’s not one of her better looks. The dress was made of strips of cloth that kinda covered her body with big sequined heart pasties to cover her nipples. Cher may be a bold fashion legend but this is a look that she simply cannot pull off. More »

Madonna Attended Miley Cyrus’s NY Concert And Loved Every Second Of It

#1 Fan

After the two performed together on MTV‘s Unplugged, it’s really no secret that Madonna is a HUGE fan of popstar Miley Cyrus so it really should come as no surprise whatsoever that Maddy would want to be front and center at Miley‘s big concert in Brooklyn, NY last night. Madonna posted some photos on her official Instagram profile, professing her love for Miley and her show … which you can check out below. It was rumored that Madge might jump up on stage to do a little something with Miley but, alas, Madonna just stayed in the audience with the rest of the plebeians. More »

Watch: The New Cast Of ‘Jesus Christ Superstar’ Performs On ‘Good Morning America’

The all-star cast is touring the country
'Jesus Christ' is hittin' the road

A new production of the Andrew Lloyd Weber musical Jesus Christ Superstar is hittin’ the road this Summer on a US tour that is being billed as a massive concert tour. In this new production, Incubus singer Brandon Boyd will play Judas Iscariot, former Destiny’s Child member Michelle Williams will play Mary Magdalene, *NSync‘s JC Chasez will play Pontius Pilate, Sex Pistols front man Johnny Rotten will play King Herod and newcomer Ben Forster will play Jesus Christ. To promote the new show, Brandon and Michelle performed the show’s title track on Good Morning America earlier today. They actually sang the Hell out of the song. JCS is one of my fave musicals, to be honest, so I might have to get tix to see this show when it comes to LA. Read on to learn more. More »

Last Eventide’s Rasputina Recital In LA Was Most Enjoyable

The TV Guide

Last night I made my way to The Roxy on the Sunset Strip in West Hollywood, CA to see one of my favorite “bands” in concert. For many years, Rasputina has eluded me when they have played shows here in LA but last night, I finally got to see a show … for the first time in a very long time. I vividly remember the first time I learned of Rasputina‘s existence when they opened up for Marilyn Manson way back in the mid-90′s. I was totally seduced by a trio of women who play rock music on cellos. Rasputina‘s second album How We Quit the Forest remains one of my fave albums of the 90s, absolutely. For various reasons, I’ve missed seeing Rasputina in concert when they’ve played LA in the past few years but at long last, I got to see them last night … and I was not disappointed in the least. Kanye West Postpones His Australian Tour To Complete Work On His New Album

... which is due out this year!

Kanye West has some bad news for the folks of Australia but good news for the rest of the world — he’s postponing his planned concert tour of Australia until later this year so that he can complete work on his new album, DUE OUT LATER THIS YEAR. I honestly had no idea that Kanye was so close to finishing up his follow up to Yeezus … nor did I expect him to release a new album so soon but … I’M DOWN! The bummer part is that the folks in Australia who bought tickets for his Yeezus Tour are gonna get the shaft for a few months. More »

The Spice Girls Say Victoria Beckham Gave Her Blessing For A Tour Without Her

"The four of us could consider it maybe."

Remember earlier this week we learned that Spice Girls are REPORTEDLY considering a world tour with Backstreet Boys? Well, according to Sporty Spice Melanie Chisholm, if the Spices do decide to hit the road they will do so without Victoria Beckham, and she is totally OK with that. At this point, there is nothing official about the Spice Girls going on tour with BSB (or at all) but now that we know that Vicki B. has given her ex-bandmates permission to tour without her, it seems VERY POSSIBLE that a Spice Girls tour may actually come to pass … WHICH IS VERY EXCITING NEWS, INDEED. Watch: Here Is Video Of Christina Aguilera Making Her Baby Girl Announcement

Xtina had to 'Say Something'
"I have another little one on the way."

Yesterday we learned the happy news that Christina Aguilera is having a baby girl after she broke the news live on stage during a concert performance in Malaysia last night. Today, thanks to a head’s up by PITNB reader Jess, we get to see video of Xtina making her announcement last night. Before she began her live performance of Say Something (a song she recorded in collaboration with Great Big World), a fan handed Xtina a bouquet of flowers for her son Max Liron. She was so touched that a fan would give her a gift for her son that she felt compelled to share the news about her baby girl. This is what she said exactly, “I have another little one on the way, too. Yeah. So, thank you guys. This is her first show. You guys are her first show, basically. So, awesome.” Click the embed above to watch Xtina make her announcement and then launch into a live performance of Say Something. Be warned, tho, the fan who recorded this video goes a little apeshizz whenever Xtina speaks but I think it’s a feeling that all of us stans can appreciate :)

Watch: Beyoncé Cried An Ugly Cry During The Last Performance Of Her ‘Mrs. Carter Show’ World Tour

Dunzo!
It's so hard to say goodbye

Beyoncé ended her year long Mrs. Carter Show World Tour in Lisbon last night after she performed 132 shows and as you can see in the video embedded above, she was experiencing a lot of feelings as she said goodbye to her fans last night. As Bey bid adieu to her hugely successful concert tour, she was overcome to the point where she busted out into an ugly, ugly cry. But, you know, even when Bey ugly cries, she looks utterly fabulous. And, let’s be honest, her ugly cry doesn’t even come close to the way that Claire Danes ugly cries on Homeland so …

Thank you for an amazing tour, Beyoncé! Can’t wait to have you back on the road again in a couple of years :)
