Funny guy, Chris Rock, want to marry Melissa McCarthy … on screen that is! He is working on a new script, which is yet to be named, but he imagines himself playing opposite Melissa, the Bridesmaids star, as a sort of “Jerry Springer couple.” He is busy wooing her to come on board and he thinks it might actually happen.. Earlier this week, we reported on the fact that Jimmy Fallon is being sued for discrimination (for allegedly firing a male employee because he only likes to work with women) and now we are hearing about ANOTHER late night TV host, Jay Leno, being taken to court. What is going on? Is this a case of people being overly sensitive or our TV guys being insensitive and inappropriate?

Comedy Central has hit the jackpot with the announcement that Charlie Sheen will be the guest of honor at their next celebrity roast. In previous years, Comedy Central has roasted Pamela Anderson, David Hasselhoff, Joan Rivers and others. But this Fall, they’ll be roasting the very trainwrecky Charlie Sheen … and get this … the show will air on the same night that Ashton Kutcher will make his debut as Sheen‘s replacement on Two and a Half Men! Um, that’s kind of brilliant.

President Barack Obama had the honor of announcing to the world that Osama bin Laden has been killed. Actor Will Ferrell, who is famous for his impersonation of George W. Bush, made a video for Funny or Die that kinda pokes fun at that announcement. In his video, Ferrell‘s GWB announces to the world (and the folks at The Sizzler) that he oversaw the successful killing of a gopher named Ardilla in his backyard. The video is really funny so, yeah, you gotta check it out.

In the past few weeks, Donald Trump jumped on board the “birther” movement bandwagon that called into question the citizenship of President Barack Obama in an effort, I believe, to draw attention to himself in the hopes of possibly running for president at some point. Last night, Trump was among the guests at the annual White House Correspondent’s Dinner in Washington DC and got a LOT of attention drawn to him as he became the foolish butt of the BRILLIANT comic stylings of President Obama (and then Trump got skewered again by Seth Meyers). Trust me, you MUST watch the video below of President Obama and Meyers skewering Trump and very effectively turning him into the literal joke that he has become.

Famed comic Martin Short paid a visit to Jimmy Kimmel Live last night to pay homage to the MTV series The Jersey Shore. Actually, it wasn’t so much a tribute as it was a hilariously skewering parody but … it’s kinda brilliant and is a deffo MUST SEE! Check out the very entertaining Jersey Short below.

After taking a bit of heat from some fans yesterday about her performance on Good Morning America, Britney Spears made an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live last night and absolutely KILLED it! Not only did she put on two really hot performances (really) but she also appeared in a couple of comedic skits that reminded us all how much fun Britney is when she appears on TV. Comedy Central funnymen Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert have orchestrated a huge rally in Washington DC today in order inspire people to get interested in this year’s mid-term elections (which take place on Tuesday November 2) and, of course, to poke a little fun at the whole entire political process. Jon and Stephen (and a few of their friends) are holding court RIGHT NOW on the National Mall in DC at their Rally to Restore Sanity and/or Fear:
