Jessica Chastain Talks About Her Sister’s Suicide And Robin Williams’ Legacy In ‘InStyle’ Magazine

'It completely changed the person I am'

As you all know, Jessica Chastain has been one of my favorite actresses to watch, both on screen, and on the red carpet. One thing I’m just now realizing about Chastain, is that I don’t know much about her life. It’s never something I thought about, but because she opens up a bit in her new interview with InStyle Magazine, it’s clear that she’s done an excellent job of keeping her personal life private. Chastain speaks on her younger sister’s suicide and her desire to carry on the legacy of Robin Williams. Click inside for more.

Who Is Nathan Fielder, And How Did He Nab Marion Cotillard For A Christmas Duet???

That-Ish-Cray of the Day
This is so awkward

So, last night my partna-in-babymaking was channel surfing, and as he went past Comedy Central I could have sworn I saw Marion Cotillard. But then I was all like, What would MY Marion be doing on Comedy Central? Apparently, she was doing this! Shouts-out to @TVPam for sending this my way, because OMG Marion Cotillard serenading me is exactly how every morning should begin. And now Nathan Fielder has a new fan. Forever… except he better keep his hands off my beloved. Peep the romantically awkward video for more!

Yasss: Uzo ‘Crazy Eyes’ Aduba And Woody Harrelson Teamed Up On ‘Saturday Night Live’

Plus, "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay" cast showed up!

So I missed Saturday Night Live last night, because I was busy recovering mentally from the madness that was the Lifetime Aaliyah movie. I’m starting to think I missed a really good episode because the skits I’m watching now are hilarious—my fave being The Dudleys. It’s a really funny critique on the current state of TV, especially in a world where social media reigns supreme. Click inside for more!

Chris Rock Joked About The Boston Marathon Bombing And 9/11 On ‘Saturday Night Live’

Obviously, people are pissed

Welp, Chris Rock took the stage of Saturday Night Live last night and he was… Chris Rock. Let me tell you about my very personal relationship with Chris Rock. During my junior year in college, someone gave me a copy of his 1996 special Bring The Pain, in which he joked about the OJ Simpson case, lots of race stuff (the infamous black people vs. niggas joke… which Steve Carrell so hilariously reenacted on The Office), and other things readily labeled ‘controversial.’ It became my favorite thing to watch. Every night, for maybe 6 months, and I’m proud to say that I know the whole damn routine by heart. So when I read headlines about Rock being ‘controversial’ on Saturday Night Live last night, I had to laugh a little. I mean, what did people expect? A family-friendly Chris Rock? But I wanna hear what you guys think about his routine, so click inside for more.

#ThrowbackThursday: Joan Rivers On ‘The Carol Burnett Show’ Was Amazing

1974
The incomparable Joan

Well, the Beyoncé birthday tribute I was planning is going to have to wait because we lost one of my favorite comedians today. Joan Rivers had a style that I always, always admired. She made me laugh, and she made me cringe. She made me feel bad for laughing, but in that awesome way where—no matter how bad I felt—I couldn’t stop. As someone who watches E! Fashion Police regularly, I can honestly say that I will miss her. Like Trent said earlier, “she was a comic genius and a bonafide trailblazer”—Rivers had been doing this for so long. Check out an amazing clip above from her 1974 appearance on The Carol Burnett Show.

Watch: Kevin Hart And Dave Franco Are Hilarious In The New Madden NFL 15 Commercial

Absolute madness.
Hart VS. Franco

I have never in my life played Madden, but I understand that there are certain members of the population for whom this moment is huge. EA Sports is getting ready to drop Madden NFL 15 and they made one of my favorite commercials of all time. I am weirdly into this theme song, I love the Lady Gaga—esque singer in the middle of the pool, and I love the Blah Blah Blah verse. Yeah, you have to watch this. Peep the video for more!

First Look: Aubrey Plaza Is The Zombie Girlfriend Of Your Dreams In ‘Life After Beth’

Finally! A zombie movie I can get with.
'You ATE A Guy!'

Let me preface all of this by saying that I can’t staaaand zombie movies or zombie-related TV shows. As with most things, this stems from childhood experiences. I saw Night of the Living Dead once (maybe twice) as a kid, and for a good portion of my life was plagued with zombie-related nightmares from which I have yet to fully recover. So every time I try to watch things like The Walking Dead or World War Z, I just freak the freak out. Enter Life After Beth. Aubrey Plaza (who is, apparently, my new fave movie star or something) is a zombie I can totally deal with. She’s cute, she’s quirky, but she just eats people sometimes. She’s starring alongside some of my other faves—Dane DeHaan, John C. Reilly, Anna Kendrick, and Molly Shannon and this whole thing looks really fun. Peep the video for more!

Watch: Dave Chappelle Tells An Epic Kanye West Story On ‘The Tonight Show’

I <3 Dave 4EVA
All Chappelle Everything, Please

First of all, can we just acknowledge how amazing it feels to see Dave Chappelle on television again? It makes me feel sooo damn good. MMmhhh (that’s the sound of me feelin’ it in my soul… mmmhhhh.) I watched him on David Letterman the other night, and he made another appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon to promote his upcoming show at Radio City Music Hall. In the interview he’s got a few funny stories about the early beginnings of the Chappelle Show, and the great musicians he worked with— The Roots, Talib Kweli, Common, and of course Kanye West. Actually, I think I’ve heard this Yeezy story before but listening to Dave Chappelle poke fun at Kanye West will never, ever get old. Peep the video for more! And click inside for a few more hilarious stories from Dave.
