Last month Lindsay Lohan tweeted a preview pic from the upcoming Spring 2010 ad campaign for her leggings line called 6126. Today we get to see some of the other photos from the ad campaign … including this one:

Man, she is really running with this 80’s look she’s got goin’ on. No lie, she looks like she fell right out of a Whitesnake music video. But wait, there is more to behold. After the jump, check out a few more photos from the 6126 Spring ‘10 promo ad campaign …

OY! For someone who claims to love Fashion so much, L. Lo is sure doing her damnedest to ruin Fashion. First, there was Lindsay’s fiasco with Ungaro at Paris Fashion Week and now this … when will it all end? If you also consider that her mother Dina Lohan is also meddling in Fashion affairs where she doesn’t belong, well, you see the problem. I dunno know who the target audience is for this line of leggings but I’m sure it’s out there … somewhere … desperate for a pair of these leggings. Tawny Kitaen, I’m lookin’ in your general direction ;)

Mom and entrepreneur Nicole Richie, who already successfully launched a jewelry line called House of Harlow 1960 as well as a maternity wear line for A Pea in the Pod, has announced that she will next be launching a contemporary fashion line called Winter Kate … and Women’s Wear Daily has all the deets. Here is but one example of what we can expect from Nicole and Winter Kate:

Nicole Richie has a new baby and a new contemporary women’s clothing line. The label, Winter Kate, which will debut in spring, expands a fashion business that already includes the accessories line House of Harlow 1960 and a maternity collection, Nicole for A Pea in the Pod. The 37-piece Winter Kate line, which takes her daughter Harlow’s two middle names, will hit stores such as Nordstrom, Bloomingdale’s, Neiman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue, Ron Herman, Intermix and Kitson, beginning in February. “It feels as though I’ve always been working on this collection, but officially I started putting it together in early 2009,” said Richie, who is lying low at home after the birth last month of her son, Sparrow. “I’ve wanted to design a clothing collection for a very long time.” Richie, who has become known for her eclectic bohemian style with a Sixties and Seventies flair, said she has torn fashion pages out of magazines for years and also draws inspiration from her favorite animals, including peacocks and other birds. The line includes mostly tops, vests and bed jackets in colorful vintage-inspired silk, crepe and chiffon because these tops are a mainstay of Richie’s own wardrobe. “I probably wear the same two pairs of jeans every day as the background to a fabulous top,” she said. “Bed jackets are a staple of my wardrobe because they are a gorgeous way to give jeans and a white T-shirt a completely different look.” Also key for spring dressing are “definitely a beautiful, fun slip dress in a great print and also a leather jacket to turn the romantic day dress into an edgy night-out outfit,” Richie said. Her collection includes long slip dresses, asymmetrical short dresses, tunics and a kimono-sleeved, maxidress, which are meant to be layered with vests in cotton macramé, suede or silk, or a shrunken leather jacket. “I purposely made the slip dresses in both solids and prints,” Richie said. “Wear the prints by themselves or with a great vest or jacket and wear the solids as basics to an outfit with many layers.” Priced from $35 wholesale for a camisole to $110 for a long kimono dress, and as much as $598 for the leather pieces, the line is positioned similarly to her accessory collection, which now includes shoes for spring. “Fashion should be accessible,” Richie said. “That was my philosophy when designing House of Harlow 1960 and it remains my philosophy for Winter Kate.” Both lines, she noted, are aimed at the same customer. “She is a woman like me: She does not look at labels; she knows how to mix and match. The pieces can be dressed up, made casual, but most importantly, they provide the wearer a means of self-expression and fun.”

Now, I know what you’re thinkin’ … Does the world really need another celeb-designed fashion line? … and you’re prolly right, it doesn’t … but it’s clear that Nicole is working really hard to express herself creatively with these new product lines and she is finding inspiration in her daughter Harlow Winter Kate. You can’t really blame the woman for wanting to create these products when she has such adorable inspiration leading her on … even if the clothes do look a bit like they came from the House of Zbornak (or at least from Dorothy’s closet):

Whether or not this new line will be a success remains to be seen but it’s evident to me that Nicole’s new life as a mom has really given her the push to expand her creative horizons. I wish her the best of luck … mebbe one day she’ll be able to hand the reigns of her fashion empire to Harlow when the time is right.

Here is our first look at the official 2010 Kylie Minogue calendar:

Kylie is, once again, featured in a nice batch of fantastic photos to help fans count the days of the new year in style. After the jump, check out the individual photos that represent each month in 2010 …

Some of these photos are also included in the tour book that Kylie sold on her For You, For Me North American Tour a few weeks ago but I think they make great photos for the calendar as well. Much love goes out to the kids at the Say Hey! message board for the calendar scans. This is deffo a great way for Kylie fans to get thru a full year in a very fun way.

Yesterday we learned the AMAZING news that Dina Lohan would be following in her daughter Lindsay’s fashion design endeavors by launching her own line of shoes called Shoe-Han. Today we get to see photos of “Mother of the Year” Dina herself at the Marc Fisher Showroom inside Trump Plaza in NYC, NY yesterday afternoon at an official launch event for Shoe-Han:

Now, I’m not sure what the purpose of having a red carpet at an event like this is but they did have one … so that Dina could walk on it as she arrived for her own shoe launch … which was attended by, well, Dina and … a bunch of photographers paid to be there. Dina was really rockin’ the crazy eyes at yesterday’s launch event … she was even lookin’ a bit more crazy-eyed than Ramona Singer from The Real Housewives of New York City. Absent the fact that I’m not the biggest Dina Lohan fan, I don’t really have much faith that this shoe line will do well. The Lohans seem to have a toxic touch with everything they endeavor to accomplish … from raising kids to sustaining a viable acting career … they don’t seem to really know what they are doing. I suppose it’s possible that Shoe-Han might sell a few pairs but I wouldn’t count on it. We’ll prolly be seeing this footwear on the streetwalkers of Hollywood Blvd. in the very near future … Ah ha! That must be the target consumer!

Just last weekend we got our first look at the new Spring 2010 collection from Emmanuel Ungaro at Paris Fashion Week which was put together under the “creative direction” of Lindsay Lohan … to disastrous results. Now it appears that Lindsay’s mother Dina Lohan is lookin’ to get in on the disastrous fun! Dina has announced that she will be launching her own line of shoes which she will call Shoe-Han:

Not one to be outdone by loopy daughter Lindsay’s nipple pasties for Emmanuel Ungaro, Dina Lohan says she’s a designer, too! Mama L. will unveil her new “celebrity” shoe line creatively dubbed “Shoe-Han” at Trump Plaza today. What’s more, the failed reality star has been named national spokesmodel, with radio and TV gigs, for lovemyshoes.com, the Web site where Dina will sell her soles. News of the fancy footwear deal comes two days after LiLo, in her Paris runway debut as Ungaro’s “artistic adviser,” got shredded by aghast fashion writers for sending models down the catwalk sporting sparkly, heart-shaped nipple pasties.

I don’t know about you but I can’t think of anything tackier than a line of shoes called Shoe-Han which come from a line created by Dina Lohan. Who in HELL would want to wear such atrocities on their feet? As ghastly as this idea sounds, I can’t help but admit that I kinda want to see what these damn things will look like. I think I already know the answer but … would any of y’all be interested in wearing shoes by Shoe-Han?

Lindsay Lohan, who has been tapped as “creative director” for the Emanuel Ungaro design house, was on hand to present her work at Paris Fashion Week earlier today at Le Carrousel du Louvre in Paris, France and by pretty much most accounts … it was a travesty. You’d be hard pressed to find anyone who found the Ungaro Spring 2010 line (apparently created from Lindsay’s direction) fashionable … or even kinda good. Women’s Wear Daily brings us one of the first reviews of the Ungaro show and, well, like the clothes that walked the runway … it wasn’t pretty. Here are photos of Lindsay taking her bows on the runway and the review from WWD:

Lindsay, it’s time to get serious about reviving the acting career. After just one season, one show, Mounir Moufarrige’s Lindsay-plus-one experiment is off to a troubled start. Lindsay Lohan, the house’s “creative director,” and designer Estrella Archs, (who probably got the job in part for her willingness to sketch in Lohan’s shadow, and probably took it for its high-profile heritage), made their joint debut on Sunday in an effort that was, quite simply, an embarrassment. To be fair, there was something of a “Mean Girls” motif at play. The fashion world, or at least its old-fashioned, traditional arm, greeted the Lohan appointment with endless snickers and rolled eyes. Its members expected, perhaps even hoped for, the proverbial train wreck. And so it came, a collision of fashion, controversial celebrity and massive publicity that resulted in the most frenzied door scene we’ve seen in years, especially at the geezer venue Carrousel du Louvre, as well as a beefed-up photographers’ pit. As for the clothes, they looked cheesy and dated, as has often been the case chez Ungaro during the post-Emanuel revolving door of designers. Hot pink, orange and flashy, with an overworked heart motif relentless in its execution, the collection displayed none of the promised younger side Lohan was supposed to deliver. Nor in a million years would one guess that the lineup was designed by one young woman and “creative directed” by another. Glitter heart pasties all around, ladies? As for Lohan, she’ll weather the criticism, hardly her first or her juiciest, and move on when her contract allows. But Archs has her work cut out for her. Backstage after the show, she said the collection “had to be designed very quickly.” Perhaps that was the problem. This storied house has been in disarray for years, and though Archs’ debut provided no indication that she’s up to the challenge, she should be given the chance to find out without a younger, nonskilled judge with theoretical veto power hovering about. (Let’s just say the ladies’ joint bow didn’t radiate chemistry.) No one ever said fashion design is brain surgery. It’s a different discipline altogether. But it is indeed a discipline and a commercial art, a fact variously muted and underscored by the celebrity infiltration of the last decade. And like brain surgery — yes, like brain surgery and all disciplines at which people work for years to develop proficiency — it has its rare geniuses and capable practitioners, all of whom must possess talent, skill and dedication. Being a young, pretty, controversial woman who looks good in clothes and photo ops just isn’t enough.

So … just how fug are these Ungaro designs overseen by Lindsay Lohan’s creative prowess? After the jump, check out some of the designs that made their way down the runway and judge for yourselves …

UGH! I mean … really? These are clothes that a major fashion house like Emmanuel Ungaro thought were worthy of walking down the runway at Paris Fashion Week? Clearly, this collection was only shown because of Lindsay Lohan’s participation. Some of these outfits aren’t even good enough to be featured on Project Runway … let alone a Fashion Week runway in Paris — the seat of high fashion. This is just … bad. Lindsay prolly won’t suffer from this showing … but Ungaro deffo will. Perhaps the next time they hire someone to oversee the creation of their next collection of clothes they’ll go with someone who has fashion design talent rather than partygirl fame. Head over to WWD to see every outfit that walked the runway. Do any of y’all think any of them are good?

Lauren LC Conrad, who has graduated from the world of MTV reality TV programming, was on hand at a private event here in LA last night to celebrate the launch of her new clothing line for Kohl’s department store called LC Lauren Conrad. LC brought along her BFF and former reality TV co-star Lauren Lo Bosworth to last night’s event … she also spoke with People magazine about what a terrible actress she is, which seems horribly off-topic but is very likely very true:

Though her days of battling Kristen Cavallari and Speidi in the realm of reality TV are officially behind her, no way is Lauren Conrad headed for the unemployment line. But she doesn’t expect to run up the aisle to collect an Oscar, either. The former The Hills star, best-selling author, fashion designer and spokesperson spent her week launching a second clothing line and finalizing a deal to convert her semi-autobiographical novel L.A Candy into a feature film. “I think my acting is offensive!” Conrad, 23, tells PEOPLE in response to a question of whether she’d consider playing the movie version of Jane Roberts, the heroine of her novel. “I’m an awful actor, I’m not super comfortable with it. In fact I was just trying to do lines … and they’ll tell you, I cannot memorize lines.” Conrad, appearing in West Hollywood for an event sponsored by Kohl’s Department Store to launch her LC Lauren Conrad label, will partner with Temple Hill Entertainment (the group behind the Twilight franchise) in bringing L.A. Candy to the big screen, and though she has no designs on playing the lead, rest assured that the stunning multi-tasker will be even more hands-on than Brody Jenner at a Playboy party. “If you’re putting your name on something,” Conrad tells PEOPLE about the film project, “it’s really important to be a part of it, or else people will just do whatever they want with it, and then it’s not really you, and it won’t be true. I’m planning on being a part of it from start to finish.”

LC was asked by a reporter about her opinion on the new season of The Hills (which features Kristin Cavallari as the main protagonist) and she confessed that she purposely will NOT watch the show so she can honestly have no opinion. Oh yeah, she is a very smart cookie. LC may not be all that exciting drama-wise but she is a very intelligent person and I commend her for making the choices in her life that she’s made thus far. She rode the reality TV fame train long enough to launch a successful business and now she’s focusing on that … brilliant. I’m not entirely sold on her writing skills and I’m not all that confident that a movie made from her book will be a box office blockbuster but she’s going for hers and I wish her all the best. LC is really one of the good kids … here’s hoping she keeps her head on straight.

I know it’s horrrrrrrible but I don’t hate the neon lime top … but the leggings are just terrible. I’m not sure who her target audience is but if it’s strippers, I don’t think they’re gonna pay premium prices for leggings with holes in them when they can just cut them up themselves. The whole look of this photo (and presumably the 6126 Spring ad campaign) looks an awful lot like the look that Samantha Jones will be rocking in Sex and the City 2. Ugh. This is a world of no. I mean, would YOU wear any of this?

I understand hordes of Mariah’s fans, or lambs as they like to be called, packed the aisles at Macy’s to get a glimpse of the diva. Coincidentally (or intentionally), this in-store appearance was also timed with the release of Mimi’s new album Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel which hit stores yesterday. Yes, yesterday was a big day for Mariah retail … did any of y’all buy either of her new wares available for sale yesterday?
