Mariah Carey & Her Pet Pooches Holiday In Puerto Rico

Mariah Carey has made her way to the US territory of Puerto Rico in order to find some inspiration for her next album. Mimi brought along her pet poochs to holiday with her and shares this fun new photo of all of them surfin’ together:

Mariah Carey shows off her surfing skills as manages to balance on a board while holidaying in Puerto Rico. Joining her in the water were her three dogs, JJ, Cha Chan and Dolomite. But it seemed there just wasn’t enough room for all four of them – with one pooch seen in mid wipe-out. Mariah is taking inspiration in Puerto Rico where she is writing new material for her Christmas album, set for release with Mercury Records later this year.

Ugh! I can’t say that the notion of an Xmas album really appeals to me but Mimi does have one of the most successful modern Xmas singles around these days so I can’t say I blame her for trying to milk the Xmas market for some more gold. It looks like she is having a great time with her cute dogs. I guess Mariah Carey likes a healthy dose of play to go along with her hard work ;)

Ryan Gosling Takes His Pooch For A Sunny Hike

Ryan Gosling took advantage of the glorious sunny weather here in SoCal over the weekend to take his pet pooch George out for a hike in the LA canyons. Here are a few adorable (and hot) photos of Ryan and George on their hike:


You may recall that we saw Ryan and George together in a cute photoshoot shot by Hama Sanders about a year ago … and it looks like Ryan and George are still very happy together. The weather has turned cool and rainy here in SoCal today … but these photos are enough to warm the cockles of any chilly heart ;) Enjoy!!

Tom Brady Makes A Pass . . .

On Monday we got to see photos of new mom Gisele Bündchen on the cover and in the pages of the new issue of Vogue magazine and today we get to see pics of her hubby Tom Brady tossing around the ol’ pigskin with his faithful pet pooch by his side … behold:


While it is still far too soon for Tom to play catch with his newborn son with Gisele, little Benjamin Rein, I’m certain that Tom is very much looking forward to the day that he can pass on his love of football to his young sons. In the meantime, I guess he’ll just have to rely on the companion ship of man’s best friend until his boys are old enough to play with him ;)

Shannen Doherty, former Charmed star and new celebrity contestant on the upcoming season of Dancing with the Stars, shared a supercute photo with her Twitter followers over the weekend that I feel incumbent to pass along to all y’all. Shannen posted this photo of her DWTS partner Mark Ballas wrestling with her pet pooch during rehearsals for the show … behold:

My partner and dog…tough day at rehearsal!! / He is a Cane Corso and about 6 years old. The sweetest thing ever. He slobbered all over Mark today!

Aww … so cute! GRRRR … I hate that I’m now FORCED to pay attention to this DWTS nonsense but since I’m pulling for Shannen to win the whole enchilada, well, I guess my fate is sealed. I sincerely hope that Mr. Ballas here isn’t spending all of this time playing with Shannen‘s dog … he had to ensure that Shannen WINS! It’s a cute pic tho … am I right?

Did you know that Kellan Lutz likes to read? It’s true. Did you also know that Kellan Lutz likes to read … in trees? That is also true. On Friday, Kellan paid a visit to a park in Van Nuys, CA and found himself a nice tree to climb up in so he could read a book … behold:


I’m actually more surprised with the book part of these photos than with the tree part. These photos remind me of the late Michael Jackson‘s fondness for hanging out in trees while writing songs. Is Kellan Lutz About To Become A Barbarian?

Hollywood is planning to remake another movie from the 80′s and they have set their sights on possibly casting hunky hottie Kellan Lutz in the role of Conan the Barbarian, previously played by musclehead turned California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger. But, Kellan‘s casting as Conan is NOT a done deal just yet … there are at least two other actors vying for the role. Kellan, for his part, ain’t sweatin’ the casting at all … but he was snapped sweatin’ on the streets of SoCal as he took his pooch out for a walk:

It seems that there is still a long way for Millennium before deciding who will be cast in their upcoming film “Conan”. After being reported to have been considering Kellan Lutz or Jason Momoa to be the potential star for the movie, the studio and its partner Lionsgate Films allegedly have added another actor on their list. The news was first broken by Deadline Hollywood, which failed to reveal the name of the new contender and only mentioned “another unnamed but better established actor.” The unknown actor will be up against Lutz and Momoa to play the title character, Conan, who was previously portrayed by Arnold Schwarzenegger in 1982 “Conan the Barbarian”. Kellan Lutz received sudden rise of fame after playing Emmet Cullen in “Twilight”. He can next be seen in horror thriller “A Nightmare on Elm Street” which will be released on April 20 in the U.S. Meanwhile, Jason Momoa is a Hawaiian actor who previously starred in TV series “Baywatch” as Jason Ioane. He also appeared in drama-comedy series “The Game” before the show was canceled on May 20, 2009. “Conan” will center its story on iconic figure Conan the Cimmerian and his adventures across the continent of Hyboria. The film is scheduled to kick off production on March 15 in Bulgaria with Marcus Nispel set to direct.

MMMMM … I like photos of Kellan when he’s out jogging. It’s fun to see that much meat in motion (whoa, that sounded dirtier than it was supposed to). I can’t think of anyone better suited to play Conan the Barbarian than Kellan Lutz. Hello, if Schwarzenegger could play the role, I have no doubt that Lutz can play the same role. To be honest, I am a huge fan of the Conan films from the 80′s. Those films introduced me to the fabulousness of Grace Jones. It looks like movie remakes are here to stay … here’s hoping this one will be one of the better ones.

Orlando Bloom Spends Some Quality Time With A Cute Pooch

Here are a few adorable photos of hottie Orlando Bloom (who was erroneously paired up with Jennifer Aniston back in November) cozying up with an equally cute little Yorkshire Terrier while the two were on vacay for the holidays. I suppose I should mention that Orlando‘s girlfriend and supermodel Miranda Kerr was in attendance in addition but, well, it seems like Orlando only had eyes for the pooch:

The weathermen may be forecasting snow and ice, but when you’re a celebrity the sun is always shining. Orlando Bloom, 32, left behind the cold in his native Canterbury to soak up the sun on the Caribbean island of St Bart’s yesterday, with model girlfriend Miranda Kerr, 26. The pair relaxed on a sandy white beach before taking to the waves onboard a luxury yacht, owned by Hollywood studio boss Harvey Weinstein … They were joined by London actor Jason Statham, 37, who like Orlando is now based in Hollywood, and his girlfriend Alex Zosman, 25 as they strolled along the sand … The actors appeared to be keen to impress their girlfriends, with Jason flexing his muscles before diving off the yacht into the ocean.

HMMMM … Jason Statham may have been trying to impress his ladyfriend but it’s pretty obvs that Orlando was paying sole attention to the dog rather than to Ms. Kerr. Isn’t it funny how pets seem to mirror their owners in both stature and cuteness level? If Orlando Bloom were a dog, he’d most deff be the kind of Yorkie Terrier that he is so enamored with in these photos. Adorable, right?

Paris Hilton & Her Pig Do ‘Hello!’ Magazine

Paris Hilton, who knows no shame when it comes to self-promotion, is featured in the new issue of Hello! magazine alongside her newest pet … a micro-pig she named Miss Piglette. And while Paris seems to have no shame, it looks like Miss Piglette would rather be anywhere else than in Hilton‘s arms:

Her micro-pig Miss Piglette is her absolute pride and joy. So much so, that Paris Hilton cannot even bear to be parted from her during a photoshoot. The socialite cradled her little pig and wrapped her in a furry pink blanket as she posed next to her Christmas tree – decorated with pink baubles. Paris even revealed that she and her boyfriend cuddle up to the minature pet in bed. The 28-year-old shares her home with 13 animals, with Princess Piglette the newest addition. She described how the pet cuddled up to her and boyfriend of ten months, baseball player Doug Reinhardt. ‘Doug and I will be lying in bed, watching DVDs, and she’ll just lie there between us,’ she told Hello! magazine. ‘She’s a little sweetheart and I love her.’ The hotel heiress, who lives in Beverley Hills, California, has previously spoken of her love for her pets. Her six dogs have a two-tiered kennel – in pink – with its own Christmas tree. She also owns two frogs, two bunnies and an African grey parrot. But it is not just luxury for her pets at home. Her opulent mansion features a nightclub complete with dancer’s pole. ‘That sees a lot of action at my parties,’ she revealed. ‘You can’t get Hugh Hefner off it when he comes round – he has the endurance of someone in his twenties.’ Paris revealed she always opens her Christmas presents ‘first thing in the morning’. ‘I’m like a kid at this time of year and I just can’t wait,’ she said. ‘I literally believed in Santa Claus until I was around 16! My mom still puts a stocking out for me, so I can still pretend.’

I’m just amazed at the things that come out of Paris Hilton‘s mouth … she sounds like a child. And, to be honest, I can’t think of anything more disgusting than the thought of being in bed with Paris Hilton, Doug Reinhardt and a pig. I mean … I’d get into bed with the pig but never with Pug Dilton. Ick! I cannot imagine what life must be like for those poor animals living in these sorts of conditions. Poor things.

Levi Alves McConaughey Gets Man Boyhandled

Ouch!! Little Levi Alves McConaughey, first born son of Matthew McConaughey and his babymama Camila Alves, spent part of his yesterday frolicking on the beach with his pet dogs and his very aggressive nanny*. Wanna know how I know the nanny is aggressive? Check out how she likes to yank around the little kid when she grabs a hold of him:


No matter how much fun kids think it is, children at this age should not be lifted up and yanked by their arms … and they really shouldn’t be yanked by one arm like this. It is my understanding that at this very young age, kids’ muscles and tendons are still being formed and trauma to their joints like this can do damage … plus, it does look painful. Now, I’m not sure that Levi‘s parents are aware that their little boy is being yanked around like this but I know I wouldn’t want anyone manhandling my child like this. Poor thing :(
