Congratulations are, apparently, in order for designer Marc Jacobs and his fiancée Lorenzo Martone because it is being reported by Guest of a Guest that the men got hitched while on holiday St. Bart’s! As you may recall, we’ve been following the speedo-clad lovers as they enjoyed the beaches of St. Bart’s over the past couple of weeks but today we are learning that the couple said I Do somewhere along the way. Here is a photo from the couple’s wedding reception. I guess they really did get hitched, y’all!

Marc Jacobs made an honest man out of Lorenzo Martone this week, by marrying him in a private ceremony in St. Barts. Following the ceremony, the couples were feted at an exclusive private dinner hosted by Larry Gagosian … The couple got engaged in March of 2009, after a year of dating, and both men have expressed interest in eventually adopting. The most adorable part of their wedding? The cake toppers, which were molded to look exactly like the couple, with mini-Lorenzo in a tux, and mini-Marc wearing his signature kilt and no shirt so as to best showcase his Sponge Bob Squarepants tattoo. Also joining them on top of the cake was Jacobs’ pitbull Daisy.

Woot!! This is great news! It was rumored that the couple were wed in France sometime last year after they got engaged but nothing substantial ever came from those reports (which is why I wasn’t sure if they were really married or not). But I guess the pair finally went and did the deed while they’ve been vacationing in the tropics. The couple have been lookin’ awfully lovey-dovey on their almost daily beach excursions, I guess now we know why. It’s not entirely clear when the men tied the knot (either in 2009 or 2010) but they may have beaten Vince Vaughn and Kyla Weber as the first married couple of the new year. Earlier today we learned that Michael Lohan got himself a new tattoo over the weekend, a tacky-looking flaming heart thing, that matches a tattoo that Jon Gosselin’s 26-year old ex-girlfriend Kate Major also had done. It turns out that the relationship between Lohan and Major (who is only 3 years older than Lindsay Lohan, I might add) goes far beyond matching tattoos … RadarOnline reports that the pair are officially a couple:

Lindsay Lohan made her way down to the isle of St. Bart’s just in time to countdown the last moments of 2009 and to ring in 2010 and made sure to share the fun with all of her Twitter followers. I’m glad to know that Lindsay had herself a great time and it sounds like she was in great spirits. I’m taken with her tweet, tho, that mentions that she is starting the new year without “boyfriends and the other drama”. Considering that her last serious, longish-term relationship was with Samantha Ronson, it appears that she is admitting that she has gone back to dating men rather than women. I suppose we can assume that “the other drama” might refer to her relationship with Ronson but we can’t be sure. Whatever the case may be, we can be assured that the promise of LOHAN MAYHEM!!!!!!!! in 2010 is one that will be kept. Are y’all ready?

As you may have heard over the holiday weekend, actor Charlie Sheen was arrested on charges of domestic assault against his wife Brooke Mueller in Aspen, CO early on Xmas morning. Since Sheen’s arrest and release from jail, conflicting stories as to the state of the couple’s marriage have come to light and a new report has emerged that claims that Mueller confessed that Sheen attacked her while wielding a knife. But, before we get to that, People magazine shares with us the Sheen-Mueller Xmas card that was photographed and sent out before Xmas, when the couple and their twin baby boys Bob and Max enjoyed happier times:

Looks like Charlie Sheen didn’t expect to get coal – or police handcuffs – this Christmas. In the TV star’s holiday card, sent out well before his arrest Friday on domestic-violence charges, Sheen, 44, is grinning broadly alongside wife Brooke Mueller and their twin boys in Los Angeles – giving no cause to suspect that he’d be spending his Christmas in jail, and the the two would be headed to counseling … “Happy Holidays From All of Us to You!” the card reads merrily underneath. Apparently, happy holidays were one gift Santa didn’t bring the Sheen family this year.

While we still don’t know for sure exactly what went down in the early hours of Xmas day, we can take some comfort in the fact that Charlie, Brooke and the twins were happy (or at least looked happy) in the weeks leading up to the holidays. Now, getting back to the alleged assault … Brooke Mueller reportedly told the police that Charlie Sheen attacked her on Xmas morning with a knife, TMZ has got the deets:

As we have already reported, one of the two felonies for which Charlie Sheen was arrested is felony menacing — a threat involving a deadly weapon. Our law enforcement sources say Mueller told cops Charlie was in possession of a knife and threatened her with it. As we first reported, Mueller has recanted much of her story … so her credibility has clearly come into serious question. In addition, as we also first reported, Mueller was legally drunk with a .13 blood alcohol level. Law enforcement sources tell TMZ when cops arrived on scene they observed marks on Mueller’s body, but they do not know if the marks were related to any scuffle with Sheen.

Sheen’s people say the couple will go into counseling to try and fix their problems … so who knows what the eff is going on. But when you see this photo of these cute baby boys you have to wonder if all of the drama involving their parents will have an averse effect on their young psyches. Whatever is going on, I hope Charlie and Brooke get it together and settle matters for the sake and safety of their young children.

Maurissa Tancharoen who plays Kilo on Dollhouse posted a bunch of personal party pics from the Dollhouse Wrap Party that took place over the weekend. As bummed as they all are for their show to be over (viciously canceled by Fox last month), from the looks of these photos it would seem that the cast had themselves a great time nonetheless:

Filming wrapped on Dollhouse last week, partying wrapped over the weekend and now … we just wait for the final eps of the series to air in January before it’s all said and done. I’m still very upset that the show got the axe but the eps that we’ve seen since Fox announced the show’s cancellation have been arguably the best of the entire series. Dollhouse is going out with a bang! I’m glad to know that the cast and crew were able to happily celebrate their accomplishments one last time.

It looks like it’s going to be a Merry Twitter Xmas in the Neil Patrick Harris NYC household this year because NPH seems really excited to be sharing his holiday experience with his followers in the Twitterverse. Back in New York after an eventful journey from the West Coast, Neil Patrick Harris is wasting no time getting in the holiday spirit. “Happy Harlem Holidays!!” the actor told the Twitter faithful on Monday. “Finally arrived (layover in Vegas – won $9.50 in slots!), got us a tree, about to trim.” Then, after working his magic on the evergreen, the How I Met Your Mother star offered up this festive photo of his handiwork. “Tree trimmed. Balls hung. Good times,” he wrote. Harris, 36, then hit a Broadway show on Tuesday night – the rock musical Next to Normal, which he deemed to be “fan-frigging-tastic!” All of which was well earned, given the nightmare before Christmas for travelers following the weekend’s heavy snows in the East. After his original flight to New York was canceled on Sunday, Harris tweeted: “Feel like I’m on the Amazing Race. In the bad way.”

NPH is a relative newcomer to Twitter but he has been an avid user ever since he started tweeting. It’s really fun to follow him and to hear what is going on in his life at any given time. I must concur with his assessment of the Broadway musical Next to Normal. I got to see the show back in August and I LOVED it! If you have the chance to see the show with the original cast, you simply must do so — you won’t be sorry … as Neil says, it really is fan-frigging-tastic! Oh and don’t forget to have yourself a merry little Xmas now.

It appears that congratulations are in order for singer/American Idol winner Carrie Underwood and NHL player Mike Fisher who apparently got engaged over the weekend!

Mike Fisher and Carrie Underwood are engaged to be married, a source has confirmed this morning. The blogosphere has been alive and buzzing since Sunday with rumours the celebrity couple have become engaged. The rumours began spreading after a friend of Underwood’s family congratulated the former American Idol and the Senators centre on their upcoming marriage on his Twitter page last night. This morning, a source close to the couple confirmed to the Ottawa Sun that Fisher popped the question and Underwood has accepted the proposal. Underwood, who makes her home in Nashville, was in Ottawa through the weekend and was on hand for the club’s 4-1 victory over the Minnesota Wild Saturday at Scotiabank Place. It’s not known if she will also be at tonight’s game against the Boston Bruins. Neither Underwood nor Fisher has made any public confirmation as yet. The couple has been dating for approximately a year. They have kept their relationship largely out of the media — quite an accomplishment for one of Nashville’s hottest stars and one of the NHL’s most eligible bachelors — but had recently begun speaking in public about their love affair.

News of the upcoming nuptials were first announced on Twitter by Fisher’s best friend Colin Peters:

But it now looks like Peters jumped the gun on spreading the news because not only has this congratulatory tweet been deleted but Colin Peter’s Twitter profile has been deleted as well! Whoops! The couple have been very private about their relationship so it may take some time for them to confirm this engagement.
