Earlier this week we learned the happy but unconfirmed news that Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel FINALLY got themselves engaged to be married. Today we kinda sorta get official confirmation that the engagement news is true. Altho neither Jessica nor Justin have confirmed (or denied) the news, JT‘s grandmother Sadie Bomar is confirming that YES, the couple are engaged to be married.

Last week we saw photos of Madonna and her much younger boytoy Brahim Zaibat hitting the slopes in Switzerland and today we get to see new photos of Maddy and her children (Lourdes Maria, David Banda and Chifundo Mercy James) doing the same. It would appear that Madonna and the family have settled in Gstaad, Switzerland for a few days to enjoy the first days of 2012 in the snow. Yesterday we saw photos of lovebirds Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes celebrated New Year’s Eve together after the pair traveled from LA to NYC last weekend. Every year, Mariah Carey makes her way to Aspen, CO to celebrate the Xmas/New Year holidays. When she started dating then eventually married Nick Cannon, he joined in on her annual pilgrimage to Aspen. Last year, Mimi and Nick gave birth to their twin babies Monroe and Moroccan Scott so, naturally, they too get to spend their holidays in Colorado. David Beckham and family are currently in London, England where they celebrated the recent Xmas holiday and will, presumably, remain until the New Year next week. Last night, Becks and wife Victoria Beckham were on hand to help his little sister Joanne Beckham celebrate her 30th birthday … a bit early. Jo doesn’t turn 30 until February but she decided to take advantage of having her brother Becks in town to get the celebration started early. It was a Happy Xmas for Playboy model Lindsay Lohan and her family this year (er, well, most of her family) as they all celebrated together at their Long Island, NY home this year. Lindsay, who has been behaving very well lately, made the trek cross-country to be with her mother Dina Lohan and her siblings Michael, Aliana and Dakota for Xmas this year (WITH permission from her probation officer/the courts) and as you can see from the group photo below … they were all very merry, indeed. Unsurprisingly, daddy Michael Lohan was not included in this year’s Xmas celebration … because he was prolly in jail or in a hospital or something.
