Last week we learned that Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon were having a baby shower for their incubating twin babies this past Sunday March 6 and today we learn that Mimi has updated her official website with a message of thanks for all the people who attended the shower as well as those who did not attend the shower but still sent gifts. Back in late 2009, we learned that Rosie O’Donnell found herself a new girlfriend to love and over the following months, a partner to build a family with. Today we learn the sad news, courtesy of The New York Post, that Rosie and her ladylove Tracy Kachtick-Anders have ended their relationship. Some are suggesting that the women have decided to stay friends but it really does sound like Rosie and Tracy are dunzo!

Yesterday we saw photos of Taylor Swift ending her Asian Tour with a live performance in Hong Kong and today we get to check out a fun 10-minute video that Taylor put together of her entire Asian Tour. Staring off at home in Nashville, TN, Taylor filmed her journey along the way as she visited country after country. It’s actually a cute video to watch, even if you’re not a big Taylor Swift music fan.

Last week former popstar turned actress Tiffany accidentally outed New Kids on the Block singer Jonathan Knight as gay on national television here in the US. Tiffany‘s outing came almost 2 years after an ex-boyfriend of Knight‘s outed him in the pages of The National Enquirer. In the wake of both incidents, Jonathan Knight neither confirmed nor denied that he was gay … until now. Jonathan posted a blog on his official website that, once and for all, publicly acknowledges the fact that he is a gay man.

Yesterday we learned the joyous news that Clueless actress Alicia Silverstone and her husband Christopher Jarecki are pregs with their first child and today we get to see photos of Alicia showing off her burgeoning baby bump. Pink reader Kinder gave me the head’s up that Alicia recently posted a video on her official blog that was filmed back in November and it looks like she was starting to show her bump even back then.

When last we saw photos of Jared Leto modeling for his photographer BFF Terry Richardson, Jared was proudly showing off his ripped and shirtless physique. Today we get to see a few new photos of Leto that were shot this week by Richardson here in SoCal during their latest impromptu photoshoot.

Congratulations are in order for rock goddess Amanda Palmer and amazing author Neil Gaiman because they got themselves MARRIED in a private ceremony in San Francisco, CA Sunday night. As you may recall, the couple got engaged in January of 2010 so it looks like they wanted to celebrate their engagement anniversary by gettin’ hitched! Amanda shared the happy news (and a cute photo) on her official Twitter profile and Neil followed up with a post (and another photo) on his official blog.

Lindsay Lohan, who got herself into a bit of trouble for a few days before she suddenly got OUT of trubs, has launched her very own official website. Until now, Lindsay‘s only online presence was via Twitter, via official website for her Sevin Nyne clothing line and the occasional Facebook account (which usually got lost in a sea of fake accounts) … but now, Lindsay‘s got a .com of her very own.

Back in August we got our first look at the first commercial for Britney Spears‘s latest fragrance called Radiance and today we learn from PoorBritney that our dear Britney recently worked on a new commercial for the perfume. What is interesting about this new commercial is that it was reportedly filmed with help from MTV … which sounds like there may be a connection to possible new music from Britney‘s new album! Now, this is all just guesswork but it’s still very exciting, no?

Matt Workman a cinematic photographer has posted a little teaser on his website of working on Britney Spears next Radiance commercial. No shots of Britney herself, but Matt along with MTV worked on the commercial and I have to wonder why MTV was involved unless… its going to be tied into her new single that we are expecting any time now. Matt eluded on his site that he couldn’t say much for a “few weeks” so that leads me to believe early December release date of the commercial – which could also mean the new single is but days away. The commercial (or music video type commercial – we hope) is directed by E.J. McLeavy Fisher not to mention its being produced by Jeremy Hammond– a music industry wizard. Hopefully the commercial will be tied around Britney’s latest music or at least tidbits of it to bring us into the New Year!

After this blogpost was published on PoorBritney.com, the photo and all commentary was removed from Matt Workman‘s official website. It’s unclear if he was asked to take down the information or its deletion was a mistake but there is enough information here for Britney fans to get excited about. When Britney collaborates with MTV, it’s usually a big deal. My guess is that the Radiance commercial shoot is part of an MTV documentary of Britney‘s life these days, which includes the work she’s doing on her next album. Hopefully we’ll be hearing more about this commercial shoot and/or whatever it is she’s working on with MTV very soon. Who knows, mebbe we’ll be hearing new music news very soon as well? Wouldn’t that be an excellent Xmas present?

Margaret Cho, who competed this season on Dancing with the Stars, posted an entry on her official blog this week that claims that her fellow castmate Bristol Palin was forced to be on DWTS by her mother and ex-governor of Alaska Sarah Palin. Cho claims that she learned this information from a source “in the know” about Palin family matters and insists that Sarah Palin made Bristol compete on the show in an effort to make America “fall in love with her again” (presumably because America fell out of love with her after Bristol gave birth to a baby out of wedlock). Here are excerpts from Margaret Cho‘s DWTS blogpost:

Why did Bristol do Dancing with the Stars? I heard from someone who really should know (really should seriously know the dirt really really) that the only reason Bristol was on the show was because Sarah Palin forced her to do it. Sarah supposedly blames Bristol harshly and openly (in the circles that I heard it from) for not winning the election, and so she told Bristol she “owed” it to her to do DWTS so that “America would fall in love with her again” and make it possible for Sarah Palin to run in 2012 with America behind her all the way. Instead of being supposedly “handicapped” by the presence of her teen mom daughter, now Bristol is going to be an “asset” – a celebrity beloved for her dancing. I am sure the show wasn’t in on this (but who knows anything really).

HMMM … interesting … and 100% plausible. I did occur to me that the best way for Sarah Palin to capitalize on the most popular competitive reality TV program on the air would be to have her daughter compete on the show that she would never be able to do herself. If Palin ever does make a run for the Presidency, she would not be able to do so if she had lowered herself to appearing on a dance competition TV series … but her daughter, that’s another story. I not only believe Margaret‘s assertion that Bristol was forced to do the show but it fortified the suspicions I already had.
