First Look: Marion Cotillard, Mila Kunis, Clive Owen And More Star In ‘Blood Ties’

Marion's Co-Star From 'Rust & Bone' Is In It Too!!! Agh!!!

I can’t remember the last time I was so excited with a cast, but OMGeeee! Marion Cotillard (who’s also got that new flick with Joaquin Phoenix). Mila Kunis. Matthias Schoenaerts AKA Marion‘s boo from Rust and Bone. Zoe Saldana. Clive Owen. And more!!! Blood Ties is a new film from the French director Guillaume Canet who put me on to Marion Cotillard years ago when he directed her in Love Me If You Dare. New images have been released from the set and I’m psyched! Apparently the movie is a remake of the 2008 film Les Liens Du Sang (Rivals) and it tells the story of two brothers (played by Clive Owen and Billy Crudup) involved in a life of crime. But okay, do you get that Marion and Matthias are in another movie together?! PITNBr Natalea, is this not the dream?! Aghhh! Peep the gallery for more! Oh, and Mila‘s not in these photos but there are pics of her on Us Weekly; she had to put on some weight for this role, so I’m expecting good things.

Neither Alexander Skarsgård Nor Tom Hiddleston Will Star In ‘The Crow’ Redux

It now looks like Luke Evans will get the role

In recent weeks we’ve been hearing casting rumors for the lead role of Eric Draven/The Crow in the planned remake of the 1994 film The Crow. First we heard Tom Hiddleston (The Avengers) was up for the part, then we heard Alexander Skarsgård (True Blood) was likely to get the role. Today we hear that neither Tom nor Alexander will star in the redux because the project’s first choice actor has been put back into the mix. When plans to remake The Crow first got underway back in 2009, actor Luke Evans was reportedly the project’s first choice as The Crow. But, at the time, he was unavailable to play the part. Due to the many delays that have plagued the project, Evans‘s schedule has cleared up and it now seems very likely that the role will be his if he wants it … so says Deadline Hollywood. More »

Check Out The First Promo Picture From The Upcoming TLC Biopic

Drew Sidora, Keke Palmer & Lil' Mama Get Crazy, Sexy, Cool

A little while back we got to check out photos from the set of the upcoming TLC biopic, Crazy, Sexy, Cool: The TLC Story. I have plenty ‘o reservations about this production because, like many folks, TLC was/is near and dear to my heart and I want to see their story told well. Since those photos hit the interwebs, a throwback, unreleased video for the TLC smash single Creep came out, and we also learned that the group would be reuniting on tour with that creepy hologram thing for Lisa ‘Left-Eye’ Lopes. Sigh. But anyway, today we have our first look at Drew Sidora, Keke Palmer, and Lil’ Mama all dressed up as TLC. Click inside for a better look!

The ‘Pride And Prejudice And Zombies’ Movie Gets Resurrected With Lily Collins In The Lead Role

Natalie Portman's Out, And Collins Is In

Back in 2009 (AKA 5 million years ago) there was news about a film adaptation of a book that Trent was totally enamored with– Pride And Prejudice And Zombies, by Jane Austen and Seth Grahame-Smith. Natalie Portman was cast in the lead role as Elizabeth Bennet: Zombie Killer, and it sounded like it was gonna be pretty sweet. Unfortunately, we didn’t hear much about the movie afterwards because Natalie Portman dropped out of the film and so did David O. Russell, (Silver Linings Playbook) who was set to direct. But now the movie’s production is experiencing a resurrection of sorts with actress Lily Collins (The Blind Side, Mirror Mirror) recently cast in the lead. Click inside to learn more!

Alexander Skarsgård Replaces Tom Hiddleston As The Frontrunner For The Lead In ‘The Crow’ Redux

Alex is the One to Watch

Last week it was reported that Tom Hiddleston was up for the role as Eric Draven/The Crow in the much-delayed-yet-still-on-track remake of the 1994 film The Crow. Apparently, all that talk of Hiddleston‘s possible casting was very premature because today we hear that Tom was never seriously up for the role … but True Blood star Alexander Skarsgård is. Of course, we won’t know who will play the new Crow until the deal has been signed but according to Deadline, it would appear that Skarsgård is the one to watch to nab the role. More »
