Dirty White Boy
Michael K. Williams, who is most well known for playing the role of Omar Little in The Wire and Chalky White in Boardwalk Empire is set to star as the late hip-hop artist Ol’ Dirty Bastard in a new biopic called Dirty White Boy. ODB’s real name was Russell Jones, and he had, as most rappers do, one helluva interesting life. Back in the 90′s he was involved in a string of legal battles including battling allegations of assault and robbery. There were also more serious allegations of an attempted murder case, and to top it all off, ODB died just before his 36th birthday from a drug overdose. Michael K. is in for a seriously challenging role, but after winning us all over with The Wire I think he is going to nail this. More »
