Early last month we first heard that Simon Cowell was hoping to sign Britney Spears to judge the upcoming new season of The X Factor. Today we learn from E! News that Britney Spears has reportedly signed a $15 million dollar deal to judge the upcoming second season of The X Factor!!! As you may recall, our dear Britney teased yesterday that she had a big announcement to make today. Tom Hanks And Emma Thompson To Tell Walt Disney And ‘Mary Poppins’ Story In New Film

Back in February we heard about a new Disney movie about the making of the Mary Poppins film, basically chronicling how Walt Disney got the rights to the original book in the first place. The film is called Saving Mr. Banks and was originally rumored to star the incredible, Meryl Streep. We also heard back in February that Tom Hanks was in talks to star in the movie. Today Deadline is reporting that Tom Hanks is definitely in negotiations, and not just for any role, but to play Walt Disney himself. I’ve also learned that Meryl is not in the picture anymore, and they are in talks with Emma Thompson, to play the lead female role, the author of Mary Poppins. More »

The ‘X-Men: First Class’ Sequel Will Begin Filming Next January

Last Summer, Academy Award-nominated actress Jennifer Lawrence starred as the mutant Mystique in the prequel film X-Men: First Class. Last month, she starred as lead protagonist Katniss Everdeen in The Hunger Games … a film that made over $250 million in it’s first 2 weeks in theaters. J. Law is due to begin filming the follow-up Hunger Games film Catching Fire this Fall … around the same time she was due to film the sequel to X-Men: First Class. Fox decided to avoid the conflict by pushing back the filming date for X-Men so that Jennifer could give her best performances in both films. Isn’t that swell? More »

Marvel Studios have announced that the sequel to Captain America: The First Avenger will be released in April of 2014. Additionally, they have announced that the events featured in Captain America 2 will pick up right where the upcoming film The Avengers will leave off. So … in just a few short weeks, we will FINALLY get to see The Avengers in action … and then will have to wait until 2014 to find out what will happen next. Geeze.
