He's A Bad Guy
This past Spring the Spider-Man film franchise was rebooted with Andrew Garfield in the lead role as Peter Parker/Spider-Man. Altho it’s only been a few months since The Amazing Spider-Man left theaters, plans are already in the works for the follow-up sequel. Actor (and sometimes singer) Jamie Foxx has officially confirmed that he has been cast in the next Spider-Man film as a bad guy. Wanna know which classic Spidey villain Foxx will play in the new film? Click below and find out from Jamie himself. More »
Marvin Gaye III Calls The Project "Shameful"
Last week we learned that Lenny Kravitz had been cast as the lead in the upcoming Marvin Gaye biopic. I, for one, thought the casting choice was pretty much on point, and a few of you thought the same. There had been so much uproar over Zoe Saldana‘s casting in the Nina Simone biopic, and I really didn’t expect that kind of backlash here. But Marvin Gaye‘s son (Marvin Gaye III) has come forward asking Lenny Kravitz (a former schoolmate and friend to this day) to pull out of the project. Click inside to learn more.
The Sound Of Music with Julie Andrews. One of the many movies of my childhood. Like, for real. And it’s getting some sort of live remake on NBC… which is fine! I’m fine with that! Not sure if I’ll be tuning in… but I’m fine with it. And although I haven’t listened to much Carrie Underwood lately, I understand that she’s crazy talented and well-respected so this can’t be too bad of an idea… right? Click inside to learn more!
'Amazon' is Coming
Back in September we learned that The CW is planning to produce a new TV series based on Wonder Woman, just one year after NBC failed to bring the Amazonian superhero to the small screen. Today we learn that The CW has put the call out for young actresses to audition for the new lead role of Wonder Woman. A treatment for the show has made its way to the Internets and it sounds pretty cool …
except for the fact that the plan is to change WW‘s secret identity name from Diana to Iris UPDATE: It turns out her name won’t be changed after all. HMMM. Click below to read the treatment and learn more about this possible new series. More »
"I AM THE MODERN DAY BLOODY FACE!"
Fans of American Horror Story: Asylum, like me, know that the second season of the show is quickly winding down. From the start of the second season, AHS has provided, IMHO, fairly good entertainment with grossly engrossing storylines that have — thus far — proven to be scary and disturbing … but in a good way. One of the characters on the show is the Bloody Face killer and his true identity was revealed a few episodes ago. But there is another Bloody Face killer on the show and next week, we will find out the true identity of the second, modern day killer. That being said, the actor who plays the modern day Bloody Face has revealed his identity online by posting a photo of himself on set. If you simply cannot wait and you want to be SPOILED before the next episode of AHS airs next week, click below to find out who is the modern day Bloody Face killer. More »
Music Rights Have Been Secured!
As y’all know, I’m always excited to hear about upcoming biopics and Hollywood’s got another one headed our way. Marvin Gaye now joins Nina Simone, Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, and Marilyn Monroe– all deceased performers who have biographical films in the works. It’s just been confirmed that Lenny Kravitz will play the beloved soul singer, which I think is really good news. This will be Kravitz‘s first lead role in a film, though we’ve seen him take on small roles in The Hunger Games and Precious. I like his on screen work and I’m totally excited about this project. Rumor Has It that JGL Will Appear in 'Man of Steel' & 'Justice League'
Those of you who are familiar with Christopher Nolan‘s The Dark Knight Trilogy of films know that the final film, The Dark Knight Rises, ended with a final scene that leaves open the possibility that Joseph Gordon-Levitt will take up the role of Batman in future films. According to a new report from /Film, we may see JGL in the role of Batman sooner than we think. It is being reported that JGL might appear in the forthcoming superhero film Superman: Man of Steel (due out next Summer) … but we don’t know yet for sure in which capacity he’ll appear (if at all). JGL is also rumored to be included in the much-anticipated Justice League movie as well … which makes it sound like he will appear in those films as the new Batman. HMMM. More »

The Show Must Go On
Yesterday we learned the very sad news that actor Larry Hagman passed away at the age of 81 due to complications from throat cancer. As you may know, Hagman successfully reprised his iconic role as J.R. Ewing on the rebooted drama series Dallas earlier this Summer. Because Dallas will return next year for a second season, it has been decided that the storyline will be amended to reflect Hagman‘s death … which, of course, means that the villainous J.R. Ewing will be killed off the show. More »

Gone but Not Forgotten
Earlier this week we learned that embattled Kevin Clash, the man who provides the voice for Elmo on Sesame Street, resigned from his role in the wake of more allegations of having sex with another underaged man. Altho NO criminal activity has been proven and altho Clash has NOT been convicted of any wrongdoing, the drama surrounding these accusations have forced his hand and he decided to resign from voicing Elmo on Sesame Street. Today we learn, tho, that altho Clash may have resigned from voicing Elmo from here on out, he has already filmed enough episodes of Sesame Street to run thru 2014. It looks like we’ll be “hearing” from Kevin Clash for some time now despite his resignation. More »
Chanté, You Stay
For the past few weeks we’ve been hearing about a film titled Dallas Buyers Club where actor Matthew McConaughey has been spotted BONE THIN for the role. Honestly, I just can’t bring myself to post photos of Matthew looking so emaciated because he looks really, really scary thin. It turns out that actor Jared Leto is featured in the film as well … but instead of playing a scary thin AIDS patient, Jared is playing a marginally thin drag queen. Click below to get your first look at Jared‘s best drag look. More »
