Meet The Mysterious Patrick...
After an epic season finale, Revenge is returning for season three this fall, and there’s going to be a lot of new ish popping off. A little while back we learned that my girl Ashley Madekwe would not be returning as a series regular, and the creator of the show (Mike Kelley) had also stepped down. I wasn’t sure about how to take all these new changes, but I’m still crazy, crazy excited for the new season. And today we have huge news! We finally have a face to go with Patrick, Victoria Grayson‘s long lost son who we found out about last season in the plot twist to end all plot twists. Justin Hartley has been cast in the role, which means the eye candy on Revenge just got a little sweeter. Click inside for more and peep the gallery to… um… acquaint yourself with Justin!
Adam Lambert, former American Idol contestant turned popstar in his own right, has just been added to the season 5 cast of the Fox TV series Glee. Glee creator Ryan Murphy made the announcement himself that the Glambert will be joining the cast of the show this Fall. At this early stage, we don’t yet know what role Lambert will play but his somewhat youthful appearance means he could play a character as young as a high school student … or he might play an adult role instead. Whatever the case my be, get ready … cuz Glee is about to get a bit more glam. More »

Colin Firth, Jacki Weaver & Marcia Gay Harden Round Out The Cast
Earlier this month we got our first look at Blue Jasmine, Woody Allen‘s latest film which comes out later this month. I mentioned that I’m sort of a new fan of the acclaimed director, having just started watching some of his contemporary works in the past couple of years, and now I’m getting into Throwback Woody. It’s been such a great time “discovering” his general awesomeness and falling in love with his work, and I can’t wait to get caught up on his filmography. Recently I learned that he’s already got a new movie in the works, and some familiar faces will be rounding out the cast. The Amazing Spider-Man actress Emma Stone was cast in the as-yet untitled project a while back, and she’ll be joined by Colin Firth, Marcia Gay Harden, and Jacki Weaver. Click inside to learn more!

"I think he'd be perfect."
Director Phillip Noyce (the man who created the film versions of Salt, Patriot Games) is telling the world that he is very interested in making a biopic film about the life of NSA leaker Edward Snowden, who is currently on the lam outside of the US looking for a country that will give him asylym so he can avoid prosecution by the US government. Noyce is so intrigued by this real life spy story that is playing out right now so much that he would like to make a biopic film about it … and cast Liam Hemsworth in the role of Snowden. "Let's not get greedy."
In mid-June we learned that plans are in the works to bring the DC Comics superhero superteam the Justice League to the big screen in a movie all their own (a la The Avengers from the Marvel Comics universe) but today we learn that there may be a stumbling block in the way. Christian Bale, the actor who portrayed The Caped Crusader in the 3 most recent Batman films, has completely ruled out his involvement in the Justice League movie. According to Bale, 3 Batman movies are enough for him so … he’s O-U-T. Hmmm. This doesn’t sound like it bodes very well for the planned Justice League movie, does it? More »
The Road to Redemption?
A couple of weeks ago, Paula Deen got herself mired in a shizz storm of controversy when it was revealed that she admitted to using the N-word (among other racist allegations) against some of her former employees. Since that time, the news has not been good for Deen as many of her major advertisers have decided to cut ties with her in order to distance themselves from the controversy. Deen attempted to apologize (a few times) but managed to bungle those opportunities as well. A few days ago, we learned that Deen hired a crisis manager to help her get thru this scandal and it looks like things may be starting to turn around for her. There’s a new rumor going around that Paula Deen has been approached by ABC to join the cast of the forthcoming season of Dancing with the Stars. Could this be the start of a positive turnaround for “poor” Paula? More »
Blame It On the Rain
Back in April of last year we first learned that Russell Crowe signed on to play the lead role in the Darren Aronofsky Biblical epic film Noah, which promises to be “scary as Hell”. Shortly there after we learned that Emma Watson, Jennifer Connelly, Sir Anthony Hopkins, Ray Winstone and Logan Lerman also signed on to the film. Today, we get to see these actors in character as they will appear in Noah. As you can see in the gallery of promo photos presented here, the photos have a bit of a Lord of the Rings-type feel to them. Despite the Biblical subject matter, I believe Aronofsky is going to try and give us an exciting, aventure film that may resonate with fantasy movie fans. We shall see. For now, peruse the photos and see what you think. Do they make you exclaim OH MY GOD! in a good way … or a bad way?
'An American Mystery' Will Hit Theatres Next Summer
Hmmm… I’m usually excited about biopics or movies based on true events, but this one is tricky. Can you believe, there’s an OJ Simpson movie in the works? I guess what I mean is, can you believe this is the first feature film about the murder trial that was once (and may still be) considered to be the trail of the century? As far as I know, there hasn’t been another movie like this, so it’s kind of a big deal, though I can’t honestly say I’m excited to see the film when it comes out. Still, the details are interesting, so click inside for more!
Looking To Recreate That 'Django' Magic?
So, I think we officially have confirmation that Leonardo DiCaprio is not taking any kind of break from acting, at all. Ever. We just saw the amazing trailer for The Wolf of Wall Street, plus he’s got the JFK movie and the Rasputin biopic happening as well. And now, some news to make all the Django Unchained fans super happy– Jamie Foxx and Leo will be reuniting on the big screen in a new flick titled Mean Business on North Ganson Street. Based on what I’m hearing, it sounds like a buddy-cop, crime thriller, so I’m expecting good things. Click inside for more!
Plus, Alex Pettyfer Might Still Be In The Running For Christian Grey
Call it Fifty Shades of Grey or Fifty Shades of Suck– whatever it is, the movie is definitely coming! Just a few days ago we learned that the Fifty Shades Of Grey adaptation finally nailed down (ahem) its director– Sam Taylor-Johnson, who some of you mentioned is known not only for her filmmaking, but also for being married to Aaron Taylor-Johnson (the actor is exactly half her age). Still no word on whether or not she’ll be casting her hubby in the role of Christian Grey, but we are hearing that Alex Pettyfer might still be interested, and we also have an official release date from the studios!
