The Gang's All Here
Earlier today we learned that Rider Strong was on the set of the new Boy Meets World spin-off series Girl Meets World. And since I went snooping around on his IMDB page I now think that he will be reprising his role as beloved bad boy Shawn… even though he has apparently spoken out and said that he won’t– but a girl can dream, right? Anyway, now we’re learning that another one of our favorites absolutely will be returning for the new show: Mr. Feeeeeeeeny. How glorious is this news right now?! Click inside for more!
Let The Speculation Continue!
Another day, another Fifty Shades Of Grey casting rumor! Last we heard, Emma Watson is not (I repeat, not) starring in the much-anticipated adaptation. Ryan Gosling‘s out (who knows if he was ever, really in?) and now we’ve got another name popping up on the rumor mill. Stephen Amell of the CW‘s Arrow has officially spoken out about the film, and says he’s even had meetings about taking on the role of Christian Grey. Click inside to learn more!
That-Ish-Cray Of The Day
So. There’s an awesome rumor going around that I just cannot stop thinking about… lmao. Okay. Here goes. You know that Annie remake we’ve been hearing about? My girl Quvenzhané Wallis was confirmed for the lead role a little while back, and we know that Jay-Z and Will Smith are producing. Now folks are saying that Justin Timberlake will play the pivotal role of… Daddy Warbucks?! Again I stress, this is just a rumor. Still… cray, right? Click inside to learn more!
'Welcome To Me'
Recently we learned that Drew Barrymore and Adam Sandler would be teaming up again for another romantic comedy, and I was pretty excited about that. Some on-screen duos just make life happy, and I’m thrilled to report that another one is headed our way. After some talk, Kristen Wiig is now officially in the Anchorman sequel, but she and Will Ferrell also have a comedy of their own in the works. Click inside to learn more about Welcome To Me!
Coincidence or ...
So, there’s a new series on The History Channel that takes stories from the Bible and dramatizes them for entertainment … the show is aptly titled The Bible. For the past few weeks, The Bible has managed to drum up big ratings for the network … but last night, it drummed up a bit of controversy as well. Last night’s episode of The Bible featured the introduction of Satan on the show and many people believe the character was made to look like President Barack Obama. Representatives from The History Channel deny that they intentionally attempted to make the Devil look like President Obama but … well, take a look at a side-by-side comparison and see what you think. But She Hasn't Been Approached Yet
A little while back I got super-psyched because we heard news about a sequel to the critically-acclaimed 2000 film Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon. I was a little/hugely bummed to hear that Ang Lee was not directing the sequel, but I also said that if some of the old cast members were on board I’d be totally down for it. Michelle Yeoh (who played Yu Shu Lien) is being honored at the Asian Film Awards tonight and she recently spoke out about her interest in the new movie. Click inside to learn more!
'How To Catch A Monster' Will Be Very 'Experimental'
Saoirse Ronan is doing seriously big, indie things. A little while back we learned that she got the lead in Wes Anderson‘s forthcoming Grand Budapest Hotel, and now we’re hearing that she nabbed a role in Ryan Gosling‘s highly-anticipated directorial debut, How To Catch A Monster. Oh, and right now she’s also in the not-so indie, but still big-deal-of a-film The Host. It’s a good time to be Saoirse, lol! Click inside to hear what she has to say about working with Ryan!
'Like really. For real.'
LMAO… I’ve never been on Emma Watson‘s Twitter before and now I’m all up in her feed. She’s hilarious! The other day rumors started swarming about that she was in the running for– or definitely, maybe playing– the lead role in the forthcoming Fifty Shades Of Grey movie. I kind of assumed there was no truth to rumors, and Emma has taken to Twitter to confirm my suspicions. Click inside to see how little interest she appears to have in this project, lol.
Move Over Charlton Heston
As we know, there are some major Hollywood movies in the works that are drawing on the Bible for inspiration. Darren Aronofsky‘s Noah project will be a huge deal, and Will Smith is working on a Cain and Able/vampire movie (yup) as well. Now we’re hearing talk about a movie on the life of Moses, and the one and only Christian Bale is in talks to play the lead. Click inside to learn more!
She'll Play A Member Of The 'Dauntless' Faction
Over the last few months we’ve been hearing some really exciting casting news about the movie Divergent. Many of you highly recommend the Young Adult series upon which the movie is based, and it looks like the beloved book is getting some serious Hollywood treatment. Shailene Woodley is playing the lead, and we even heard talk about Kate Winslet being involved. Now rising indie star Zoë Kravitz has snagged herself a role as well. Click inside to learn more!
