A Star is Born ... then Becomes a TV Star
Last week we learned that 16-year old Prince Michael Joseph Jackson, the first born child of the late Michael Jackson, secured a job as an entertainment reporter for Entertainment Tonight and today we learn that he has new employment to add to his already growing resumé. The little Prince nabbed a guest-starring role on the CW series 90210. Jackson will NOT be playing himself on the show, instead he’ll be playing the role of a young trauma victim … or something like that. Click below to learn more. More »
Last month we learned about some early casting for the forthcoming third season of American Horror Story on FX and today we learn that casting of the new season has hit a new high. The amazing Academy Award-winning actress Kathy Bates has signed on to appear on AHS 3 this Fall! I mean … we already know that Jessica Lange will be back for another season and now we can look forward to seeing her go head to head with Kathy Bates? The new season hasn’t even started filming production yet and I’m already certain it’s going to be the best yet. Wow! More »
The Trainwreck Leading the Trainwreck
In October of 2011, we learned that Charlie Sheen (who had been fired from his hugely successful CBS TV series Two and a Half Men) scored himself a new TV series on FX titled Anger Management (based on the film of the same name). For the past year or so, Sheen has enjoyed marginal success with his new show. Today we learn that he is attempting to share some of that success with troubled actress Lindsay Lohan who, let’s face it, could use a little success in her life. This April, Lindsay will guest star on Anger Management where she will play herself … so … yeah. More »
Producers Want Him For A Movie Set In The Great Depression
A little while back we learned that Leonardo DiCaprio was planning to take a ‘long, long break’ from acting. The actor spoke out in an interview about being completely drained after his last few projects, and said that he hoped to spend some of his free time working on environmental change. I was bummed by the news (having seen his brilliant performance in Django Unchained shortly before the story came out), but I’m also all for people taking time to themselves. Anyhoo, it looks like the break might not be so long after all, as he’s already being eyed for a new project. Click inside to learn more!

Oscar Or No, Q Is Doing Big Things!
Okay. So little Quvenzhané Wallis lost the Oscar last night to Jennifer Lawrence, but it’s fine. It’s fiiine! No, seriously. She’s nine. She’ll be fine. And, as we reported a while back, she’s got some big new productions in the works. After Willow Smith dropped out of the project, Quvenzhané Wallis was in the running for the lead role in an upcoming production of Annie. It’s now official! Little Q is our next little orphan Annie. From The 'Les Misérables' Screenwriter
A little while back we learned that social/political icon and former President of South Africa, Nelson Mandela, had some close relatives who were getting into the reality show business. His granddaughters will soon be starring in a reality show called Being Mandela… and while I wasn’t too psyched about that news, I do have high hopes for the Mandela biopic that is currently in the works. Apparently, British actor Idris Elba has been tapped to take on this very important role. Click inside to learn more!
... As April O'Neil?
Back in 2010, after Megan Fox had a few disparaging things to say about director Michael Bay in public, he fired her from appearing in Transformers 3 and made it fairly clear that he had no intention of ever working with her again. But oh what a difference a few years makes. It was recently announced that Bay will be helming a new big screen adaptation of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (ugh, I know) and just yesterday he announced officially that Megan Fox has been cast in the film. Because there is only one female lead character in the story, it’s believed that Fox will play intrepid news reporter April O’Neil — ally of the Turtles. It would appear that Michael and Megan have kissed and made up … and plan to work in concert to ruin another part of my childhood :/ More »
I Think It's Safe To Say He's Obsessed.
Okay, David! We get it! Jennifer Lawrence can do no wrong and you shall now cast her in every single one of your films, á la Martin Scorsese and Leonardo DiCaprio, or Tim Burton and Johnny Depp… lol. We get it! She rules. Y’all, didn’t we just hear about a new movie from Russell (the Silver Linings Playbook director) starring Bradley Cooper, Christian Bale, and Jennifer Lawrence? Well, this director can’t get enough of his new muse, and he’s already cast her in a third film that’s currently in the works. We’d actually heard about The Ends Of The Earth a while back, and now J-Law and Russell are officially making it happen. Click inside for more!
"George [Lucas] wanted to know whether we'd be interested"
Last week we learned that Harrison Ford will REPORTEDLY reprise his role as Han Solo and may appear in the upcoming sequel film Star Wars: Episode VII and today we learn that Mark Hamill, as Luke Skywalker, may appear in the film alongside him. Hamill dished in a new interview that he has been in talks to appear in the new Star Wars film. But, he goes on to clarify, if a deal cannot be worked out (for whatever reason) then the roles of the classic characters will NOT be played by other actors. We’re either going to get Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill and Carrie Fischer (???) in Episode VII or not at all. More »
