I’ve been hearing whisperings here and there about a Hillary Clinton biopic, and it looks like it’s officially going down. From what I understand, Rodham will focus on Clinton‘s younger years and her rise into politics. It’s also supposed to be, like, really hot. As in, lots of steamy sex scenes between young Bill Clinton and Hillary… so that should be interesting, yeah? And now we’re hearing reports about some A-list actresses in the running to take the lead. Scarlett Johansson, Jessica Chastain, Reese Witherspoon, and Amanda Seyfried are all currently being eyed for the role of Rodham. Click inside to learn more!
Her Rep says It Ain't Happening :(
Earlier in the week we learned of a RUMOR that producers on American Idol are looking to bring back former Idol winners/contestants to serve as judges on the upcoming new season of the show. A day later, it was widely reported that Jennifer Hudson was either “close to signing on” or she had “already signed on” as judge. Along with reports of J. Hud‘s Idol return, it was also reported that Kelly Clarkson was also being courted and is, allegedly, “close to signing on” as well. Welp, today we learn that that is not true. A rep for Clarkson told The Hollywood Reporter that she is not judging the show. Boo! Now, not only do we know that Kelly won’t be back but it also throws into doubt whether or not J. Hud will return as judge. Hmmm. More »

It's, actually, not a bad idea
Now that the 12th season of American Idol is over and it finished with dwindling ratings, producers are looking forward to season 13 and are trying to figure out a way to get the show back on track. It was believed that bringing on board a megastar like Mariah Carey would be enough to generate ratings but it now appears that that plan was not at all successful. Vulture is reporting that producers are considering a plan that would bring back former American Idol contestants and/or winners to judge the competition next season. At this point, this report is merely an unsubstantiated rumor but I have to say … the idea doesn’t sound half bad. More »

"I'm hoping to hear soon."
After it was confirmed that Kiefer Sutherland signed on to reprise the lead role of Jack Bauer in the forthcoming limited series 24: Live Another Day it was reported that 24 producers are hoping to bring back the original cast and writing staff for the show. Today we learn that Mary Lynn Rajskub, the actress who brilliant brought 24‘s Chloe O’Brian to life, is anxious to reprise her role on Live Another Day … the only problem is that she hasn’t been approached by producers yet. Mary Lynn was a guest on Conan and she was asked about her possible return to 24. Click below to see what she had to say. More »
They Join Demi Lovato & Simon Cowell on the Judging Panel
Yesterday we learned that singers Kelly Rowland and Paulina Rubio were in talks to join the forthcoming 3rd season of The X Factor as new judges and today we learn that they have officially signed on to the show. Show creator Simon Cowell will be joined by returning judge Demi Lovato as well as Kelly and Paulina on the judges panel in an effort to revitalize the not-very-successful singing competition show. As you may recall, our dear Britney Spears was brought on board last year to give the show new life … a plan that had marginal success. Will the addition of Kelly and Paulina do enough to save the show? HMMM. More »
The Return Of Mystique
Over the last few months we’ve been hearing news here and there about the upcoming X-Men sequel, Days of Future Past. Halle Berry is reprising her role as Storm (to the disappointment of many, many people), and Hugh Jackman will be returning as Wolverine, along with Nicholas Hoult who played the young Beast in X-Men: First Class. Today director Bryan Singer tweeted the first look at Academy Award-winning actress Jennifer Lawrence rocking the blue Mystique costume, as she’ll also be reprising her role in the upcoming movie. Paulina Rubio Is Also Close To Signing A Deal
Back in January we heard rumors about Britney Spears quitting her role as a judge on Fox’s The X Factor to focus on new music. Now that we know Britney is headed to Las Vegas, and working on her new album (and that L.A. Reid officially left the show) we know for a fact that The X Factor is looking for some new judges. Word is, they’re very close to signing Kelly Rowland and Paulina Rubio to the show. Click inside to learn more!
These Afros Are Sooo Appropriate
Yaaasssss! Last week we heard the awesome news that Kanye West (AKA Young Yeezus) had joined the cast of Anchorman: The Legend Continues. But wait– there are more rappers! Drizzy Drake was recently photographed on set, and now I really, really can’t wait for this movie! I mean, the thought of him being in a film like this isn’t quite as shocking as Kanye‘s casting; many of us still refer to Drake as ‘Jimmy from Degrassi.’ But this is still hilarious. 'Legacy Of Secrecy'
A little while back we heard that Leonardo DiCaprio was planning to take a break from acting. Since then we’ve heard reports of Leo‘s name coming up for some big roles, and now we’re learning that he’s been working on a JFK conspiracy movie for some time. He could still, presumably take his long break from acting since these projects are only in the beginning stages, but in the meantime, I plan to start getting excited about this upcoming work. Silver Linings Playbook director David O. Russell is now officially directing and writing the script for Leo‘s project, Legacy Of Secrecy based on the book by Lamar Waldron and Thom Hartmann.
