Just last week we got to see the trailer for Emma’s new movie, The Perks Of Being A Wallflower and today we learn that Emma is in talks to star in new epic film, Noah, which stars Russell Crowe as the titular ark builder. Today Deadline is reporting that Mags is in talks to play the lead female role in White House Down, the thriller that Roland Emmerich will direct. Channing Tatum is set to play the Secret Service agent who tries to thwart a White House takeover, and Jamie Foxx is in negotiations to play the president. Jewel Kilcher posted a couple of photos on her official Twitter profile this week that make her look almost unrecognizable. In the photos, Jewel is rocking a pair of blue contacts and a set of perfectly straight teeth. It turns out that Jewel has been cast as June Carter in an upcoming Lifetime made for TV movie about the life of Johnny Cash tentatively titled Ring of Fire. Mariana Klaveno Cast As Lilly Munster In ‘The Munsters’ Reboot TV Series

Yesterday we learned that actor Jerry O’Connell won the role of Herman Munster in the planned reboot series Mockingbird Lane (which is a modern update of the classic 60′s TV series The Munsters). Today we learn that former True Blood actress Mariana Klaveno has been cast in the lead female role of Lily Munster IF she can be let out of a previous contract to play another role in another series on another network. HMMMM. While Herman Munster is a Frankenstein-like character, Lily Munster is a vampire-like character … which should be a breeze for someone like Klaveno to play … erm, that is, if she is able to take the role. Jerry O’Connell Cast As Herman Munster In ‘The Munsters’ Reboot TV Series

'Mockingbird Lane' Casts Its Lead Actor

Back in October of 2010 we first learned of the plan to reboot and bring back the classic 1960′s TV series The Munsters to network TV. Earlier this year, back in March, we learned not only that this new version of The Munsters — now titled Mockingbird Lane — is going into production but also that comic actor Eddie Izzard nabbed the role of Grandpa Munster. Today we learn officially that Jerry O’Connell has been cast in the leading male role of Herman Munster. I’m guessing his sizable forehead had something to do with his casting ;) More »

Beyoncé To Star In Animated Movie ‘Epic’ Alongside Josh Hutcherson And Amanda Seyfried

We have a new star-studded animation to get excited about. Epic is the latest 3D animated film from the makers of Ice Age and Rio, and today Deadline has reported who will be starring in it. The cast is pretty stellar including Beyoncé Knowles as Queen Tara, Colin Farrell as Ronin, The Hunger GamesJosh Hutcherson as Nod, Amanda Seyfried as Mary Katherine, Johnny Knoxville as Mandrake, Aziz Ansari as Mub, rapper Pitbull as Bufo, Jason Sudeikis as Bomba, and Steven Tyler as Nim Galuu. Zac Efron And Jason Bateman In Talks To Star In Jewish Comedy ‘This Is Where I Leave You’

Zac Efron, Jason Bateman, Goldie Hawn, and Leslie Mann are all in negotiations to star in the new movie, This Is Where I Leave You, an adaptation of the Jonathan Tropper comic novel about four siblings who come home to ‘sit shiva’ for their deceased father. Some of you may be aware that sitting ‘shiva’ is a Jewish tradition where close family members sit at home, usually in the family home, for seven days after a death in the family. Not ever a funny situation, but this time it has been turned into a comic novel and now a film. It is being directed by Adam Shankman, who just finished Rock of Ages, and is reportedly attracting a lot of interest from celebrities who want to be involved in the project.
