Running Out of Time?
Yesterday we learned that Jennifer Lopez is going around town suggesting that she might not return to judge another season of American Idol. I, and may others, immediately jumped to the conclusion that she is merely saying this as a negotiating tactic to reap a more lucrative contract with Idol. But, according to E! News, it’s starting to sound like J. Lo is really serious about quitting Idol. For the first time ever, Lopez is going out on a world tour this Summer and prepping for the next season of AI would get in the way of her tour. Additionally, J. Lo says she’d like to spend more time with her children. I’m actually starting to believe that she is seriously serious about saying goodbye to American Idol. More »

Back in early April we learned that actor Ashton Kutcher nabbed the coveted role of the late Steve Jobs in a biopic about his life. Today we get our first look at Kutcher as Jobs on the set of the film, tentatively titled Steve Jobs: Get Inspired. As was noted before, Ashton does bear a striking resmeblence to the young Steve Jobs but many people have voiced their concerns that Kutcher may not be the right person to portray the Apple genius. I can’t say I’m convinced either. Nonetheless, the film is now in production … and Ashton is hard at work on the Jobs. More »

Folks, we are SO close to the official confirmation but … we’re not there just yet. More »
"She's a good guy."
Back in February of last year, we learned officially that actress Marion Cotillard joined the cast of the forthcoming superhero sequel film Batman: The Dark Knight Rises. A couple of months later, it was revealed that Cotillard was cast to play a character named Miranda Tate … but it was widely speculated that Miranda Tate is merely a cover for another character — Talia Al Ghul, daughter of Ra’s Al Ghul (the villain featured in Batman Begins). Today we get to hear from Cotillard herself in the pages of the new issue of The Hollywood Reporter and learn, once and for all, which character she will be playing in The Dark Knight Rises.
