A couple of weeks ago we learned that Kevin Costner was up for the role of Jonathan Pa Kent in the upcoming Zack Snyder-directed Superman reboot film. News of Costner‘s casting came about a month after it was revealed that Henry Cavill had been cast as Clark Kent/Superman. Among the rumored season 12 cast is a wrestler, a lil’ rapper and a former girlfriend of Hugh Hefner. Instead, we get our first look at the first promo photo released from the upcoming prequel film Rise of the Apes (which stars Franco) … which is meant to tell the story of events that lead up to the action in the classic 1968 film Planet of the Apes. Today we get to see photos of young actress Mackenzie Foy in Vancouver, BC as well … it is widely believed that she has won the part of Renesmee Cullen — the human/vampire hybrid child of Bella Swan (Stewart) and Edward Cullen (Pattinson). Ryan Gosling & George Clooney Begin Filming A New Movie Together

Elder actor George Clooney and the much younger Ryan Gosling surfaced together on the Cincinnati, OH set of their new film The Ides of March. As I understand it, the film is a political drama about dirty campaigning or something like that. I believe the dynamic is that Gosling‘s character will be working for Clooney‘s character. Whatever the case may be, the film promises that a whole lotta inter-generational hotness will be had. More »

Last weekend we saw photos and video from Daniel Radcliffe‘s appearance in the new issue of Vogue magazine, which highlights his return to the Broadway stage. Today we get to see a couple of behind the scenes photos from rehearsals where DanRad is prepping for his leading role in the new revival production of How To Succeed in Business Without Really Trying. Holy shizz, great news, y’all!! After only about a year after his amazing TV series 24 ended, Kiefer Sutherland is ready to return to TV once again. TV Guide reports that Kiefer has signed on to star in a pilot for a series called Touch for Fox. If it gets picked up, and it’s pretty certain to get picked up, then the Kief will be back on our boob tubes in the Fall! Woot!! More »

Today we are hearing that actor Kevin Costner may have snagged the role of Clark Kent‘s adoptive Earth father Jonathan Kent (affectionately referred to as Pa). Now that the invitations have been sent out for the Royal Wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton, it is time to move on to the next phase of the wedding prep … the made-for-TV movie. Actors Nico Evers Swindell and Camilla Luddington have been cast as Wills and Kate for an upcoming TV movie currently being filmed in Bel Air, CA this week. IMHO, neither actor looks like the person they have been hired to portray but they’re moving forward with this project nonetheless. More »
