Thankfully, he didn't bring his shirt with him ;)

We all know that Sarah Michelle Gellar is back on TV in the new CBS series The Crazy Ones but today we learn that her hubby Freddie Prinze, Jr. is also back on the small screen. FPJ, who has starred on TV shows like 24, Boston Legal and his own short-lived series Freddie, will be making a guest appearance on the new series Witches of East End and as you can see below, he won’t be wearing much clothing on the show. I honestly never thought about Freddie as beefcake material but judging by the photo below, homie’s been working out to change that perception about him. More »

Matt Smith Will Play Patrick Bateman In ‘American Psycho: The Musical’

Back in February of 2010 we first learned that a musical version of American Psycho was headed for the musical theater stage and today we learn that British actor Matt Smith has been cast in the lead role of Patrick Bateman. Smith, as some of you may know, rose to fame when he took over the lead role of The Doctor in the British TV series Doctor Who when David Tennant left the role. Now that Smith has moved on from Doctor Who, it would appear that he has his sights set on a career in musical theater. While I still have some concerns about an American Psycho musical, I am intrigued by the decision to cast Matt Smith as the lead. More »

Michael B. Jordan May Take Over Will Smith’s Role In The ‘Independece Day’ Sequel

I'm Into It...

The other day we heard reports about the long-awaited, upcoming Tupac Shakur biopic, and I started wondering who would take on the lead role. While I was thinking someone along the lines of Nate Parker, PITNBr Megan brilliantly suggested Michael B. Jordan– who I friggen love! Best known for his roles in The Wire, Chronicle, and Fruitvale Station, Jordan may be about to hit the big-time for real, for real. Remember that Independence Day sequel we heard about? Well, first we thought Will Smith was absolutely not coming back, then Will was kind of into it again, and now we’re hearing that Jordan may take on the role (which I think would be awesome). Jack Black May Play The Lead In The ‘Goosebumps’ Movie

Okay, I'm Into It
The 22nd Annual Gotham Independent Film Awards

Back in March we learned that a movie based on the children’s horror book series Goosebumps was officially in the works. On the one hand, it’s definitely an exciting prospect, but we’ve all had that experience where Hollywood kinda, sorta destroys a childhood experience for us– so there’s definitely some cause for concern here. Actually, I’d totally forgotten about the project until I learned that Jack Black was negotiating with the studio to play the lead (an R.L. Stine-type character) in the movie. Click inside for more!
