Whew! I’m glad that rumor has been debunked. I’m sure a great many of you were standing on any number of high buildings and bridges all around the world racked with worry that Jamie Lynn and Casey were on the outs. I’m sure it comes as a HUGE relief to so many of you rooting for this couple to beat the odds and stay together forever. Tho, I imagine it comes as NO RELIEF to see that Casey has no problem smoking around his infant daughter or that JL seems to let him. Blah.

She’s been working since she was 11 — and a mother since she was 17 — so it’s actually refreshing to see Jamie Lynn Spears enjoying herself just like any other 18-year-old unwed mother. The younger Spears girl partied the weekend before last — with baby daddy Casey Aldridge — at a club called The Buzz in Hammond, La. It’s an 18 & over club and, amazingly, the VIP manager there told us he didn’t even know Jamie Lynn was ever there.

Now, I don’t know for sure … but I would bet good money that there ain’t milk in that plastic cup that Jamie Lynn is holding. To be honest, I wouldn’t blame the girl one bit if she were hittin’ the sauce … I imagine her life didn’t turn out quite the way she had planned. In the second pic you can see that Casey got a tattoo in his inner forearm … it’s not very clear but I think it reads Maddie Briann (the name of his daughter with Jamie Lynn). In the last pic you can clearly see the heinous mouth sores the poor guy is sportin’ …. again, the stress of teenage parenthood is most likely the cause. While it’s nice to see that JL can get out of the house, away from the baby and enjoy a night on the town … I can’t help but feel an ounce of sadness to see that this is what her life has become.

In a rare, exclusive interview, new parents Jamie Lynn Spears and Casey Aldridge have reached out to OK! to defend themselves and their relationship against the tidal wave of rumor that has nagged them since the June 19 birth of their adorable baby daughter, Maddie Briann. A recent series of scurrilous tabloid stories have alleged that not only has 19-year-old Casey been unfaithful to Jamie Lynn, but that he’s also gotten another woman pregnant. The stories insist that the couple’s relationship is a sham and that he is still seeing other girls! On the topic of former friend Kelli Dawson, who claims to have been romantically involved with Casey, even after Maddie’s birth, he tells OK! these allegations of infidelity are “not the least bit” true. “In a small town, everybody knows everybody,” he explains. “But when money’s involved, you find out who your friends are.” As for reports he impregnated Kelli, a stunned Casey told OK!, “That’s news to me.” “That is just completely fabricated,” adds Jamie Lynn. “He never had an intimate relationship with her, so how would that be possible? Around here, that particular girl is known to make up stories.” And then there’s Whitney Seals, who supposedly romanced Casey. Says Jamie Lynn, “What happened was that one of those girls did it, and in this small town when one of them does it, they’re all like, ‘Good idea.’ They all jumped on the bandwagon.” The tall tales have taken their toll on the young parents. “It hurt me to hear those things,” reveals Jamie Lynn to OK!. “Because my family has to read it. It’s not fair to them.” Another factor making things worse is that the Aldridge family has been thrust unwillingly into the spotlight. “Casey’s family is not used to this,” the former Zoey 101 star explains. “They might assume it’s true. My family knows it’s not. It was definitely harder for Casey’s family to deal with it, but you just explain that it is part of this business.” The new mom says that her family has stood beside her through the entire ordeal. “They know if I were in a relationship like that, I wouldn’t put up with it,” she tells OK!. “My family supports me, and they support Casey also. They read those stories and take them with a grain of salt.”

Casey-Lynn is referring to THIS report from In Touch Weekly that published an interview with Kelli Dawson, who claims she had an intimate relationship with Casey Aldridge. Why the couple waited this long to refute Dawson’s claims, I’m sure I have no idea but at least they’ve spoken up at last. Well, I guess now that Jamie Lynn and Casey have finally denounced the rumors of infidelity, we can put that issue to rest …

… and move on to a new Casey-Lynn rumor to take its place. The National Enquirer is reporting that Jamie Lynn is pregs with her second child — say it ain’t so!

Whoops – she did it again! Teen Prego Queen Jamie Lynn Spears has another bun in the oven, The NATIONAL ENQUIRER is reporting exclusively – and her pals are begging her to abort. In a blockbuster world exclusive, The ENQUIRER has learned that the 17-year-old Zoey 101 starlet is now expecting for the second time – a mere three months after giving birth on June 19 to baby Maddie Briann. Jamie’s desperate to keep the shock­ing news secret and some people close to her are urging Jamie Lynn to consider ending the pregnancy, sources say. “Jamie Lynn is about eight weeks pregnant, and she and her mom Lynne are hysterical,” revealed a close source. “Neither of them knows what to do, but for now they’re trying to keep the news from getting out.” Too late. The unplanned pregnancy came as a shock to Jamie Lynn, who’d been breast-feeding her infant daughter Maddie Briann, insiders say. “Jamie Lynn believed she couldn’t get pregnant while she was breast-feeding,” said the close source. “She’d expected to have her period by early September.” A home pregnancy test came back positive and Jamie Lynn cried her eyes out, said the source. Her mother Lynne was livid when she found out, divulged an insider. Meanwhile, insiders say that those close to Jamie Lynn are urging her to abort! “They’ve reminded Jamie Lynn how much trouble she had adjusting to motherhood with Maddie, and pointed out that having a second baby now would only be a recipe for disaster,” said the close source.

Now, I must confess that The National Enquirer isn’t always the bastion of verity that they wish they were but they do get these stories right sometimes (just ask Sen. John Edwards). TMZ is sourcing an “unimpeachable source” that claims this pregnancy report is categorically untrue:

Three-month-old Maddie Briann Aldridge is gonna have to wait to have a lil’ baby brother or sister, because Jamie Lynn Spears is not pregnant, y’all! While several reports are claiming Jamie Lynn is preggers again, an unimpeachable source tells TMZ Britney’s baby sis does not have another bun in the oven.

To be honest, I would not be surprised if JL did get pregs again … if not now, sometime in the future. After all, neither she nor Casey has really proven to be the sharpest tools in the shed. I really do think that Casey-Lynn needn’t spawn any further but … I guess time will tell if either of them learn safe sex practices.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ federal and local authorities are on the hunt for someone peddling 12 pics of Britney Spears, Jamie Lynn, daughter Maddie and baby daddy Casey Aldridge. One of the pictures shows Jamie Lynn breast feeding Maddie — Jamie Lynn’s left breast is exposed. The pics were taken on Casey’s digital camera. We’re told he took the camera card to his local Wal-Mart in Louisiana for copies. Law enforcement believes someone at the Wal-Mart may have made extra copies, then tried selling them. Because Jamie Lynn is a minor, selling the pics — or buying them — could constitute a violation of federal laws prohibiting pornography. Peddling pictures of a minor’s breast — even if not taken for sexual purposes — could land the seller and the buyer in federal prison if they are marketed across state lines for the purpose of being lurid. Also, anyone purchasing the pics could be prosecuted for the crime of receiving stolen property. Other pics in the set include Britney holding the baby and one of Jamie Lynn, Britney, Brian (Brit’s bro), Lynne Spears and Jamie Spears around Jamie Lynn’s hospital bed. There are also pics of Maddie by herself, and there’s a picture of Jamie Lynn in a negligee holding the baby. Authorities are trying to find the man who is attempting to sell the photos. In addition, we’re told Britney’s lawyers are thinking about going after Wal-Mart for the alleged security breach.

I mean … really? It never occurred to Casey that developing photos like this at Wal-Mart might be a bad idea? While it is grossly unfair that celebrities have to take extra precautions with things like this, I think it makes a wee bit more sense to mebbe invest in a $100 photo printer to print out personal pics like this? Mebbe? I mean, yes I understand that the Wal-Mart person is ultimately responsible for this heinous crime but I simply cannot believe that Casey would be this dumb. Actually, considering the situation he got him and his teenage lover in by practicing unsafe sex, I can believe he is this dumb.

For the record, the photo above of JL and MB is not one of the pilfered pics but is a photo snapped by OK! magazine after MB’s birth. You can tell it’s not one of Casey’s photos cuz JL’s breasts are fully covered.

Britney Spears’ little sister Jamie Lynn cut a sad figure yesterday as she ventured out in public for the first time following allegations her fiancé had cheated on her. The 17-year-old actress’s relationship was been rocked by claims that Casey Aldridge, 19, had been having an affair with Kelli Dawson, 28. After the revelations last week, the Zoey 101 star and her two-month-old daughter Maddie Briann have fled the couple’s home in Mississippi to stay with her mother Lynne 30 miles away in Louisiana. Pictured for the first time since the reports, Jamie Lynn looked miserable as she joined mother Lynne and baby Maddie to buy a new mobile phone in a store in her hometown of Kentwood. Dressed for the hot weather in a denim mini skirt and white vest, Jamie Lynn was still wearing the engagement ring she accepted from Casey in March – just three months before their daughter was born. The couple, who have been dating for two years, were expecting to wed later this year, but their marriage plans have been thrown into jeopardy following the recent reports. Kelli told America’s InTouch Weekly magazine she had been dating Casey since November 2006 and had still been seeing him when Jamie Lynn was six months pregnant with Maddie – the same month he proposed.

I dunno … I think it’s far too early to assume that JL has moved out on Casey but it doesn’t sound totally unreasonable that a 17-year old girl might want to seek refuge and security at home after learning of suspected cheating on her boyfriend’s part. Baby or not, JL is still a young girl … it makes sense. It’s sad but I predict that this is only the beginning of Casey-Lynn’s trubs. They’re just kids … and nothing that I’ve seen from either of them shows that they are ready to be self-sustaining parents. Whether or not there was cheating going on, I don’t think it’s a terrible idea for JL to get some help with her life right now. It might prove to be the best thing for her and her new family in the long run.

I, uh, don’t even know exactly what to say … the photo isn’t the best photo of a celebrity baby that I’ve ever seen but Casey-Lynn sure do look happy. A day after her sister Jamie Lynn gave birth to a baby girl, a serious-looking Britney Spears returned to Los Angeles on Friday to a crush of rowdy paparazzi at the airport. After the group – consisting of Spears, assistant Brett, father Jamie and bodyguards – made their way down a terminal escalator, Jamie Spears pushed photographers out of the way. Britney, wearing sunglasses, was bumped several times. Hours earlier, the pop singer gave a tearful goodbye to family at the New Orleans airport after being on hand for the birth of her niece Maddie Briann. On the plane, Spears kept to herself in first class on the Delta flight, which also included celebrity passenger Amanda Bynes. “Britney didn’t seem happy and was mostly resting,” says a Meredth Wood, a fellow passenger. “She kept her sunglasses on for most of the flight.”

It’s unfortunate that Brit Brit couldn’t stay in Kentwood longer to bond with her new niece Maddie Briann but I’m sure that she’s got biz to take care of here in SoCal … not to mention her own young’ns to look after. There are rumors going around that Britney is planning to move back to Louisiana (at least according to Mama Lynne Spears) at some point in the future (maybe so that she can raise her sons Sean Preston and Jayden James with Jamie Lynn’s new daughter) but I’m sure that won’t happen until her custodial issues are settled with former hubby Kevin Federline … so for the foreseeable future, she’s gonna be hangin’ around LA for a while. And speaking of Jamie Lynn’s newborn daughter …

… Maddie Briann and her mother have already been released from the hospital and have returned to their home. Daddy Casey Aldridge did his best to sneak his new family out of the hospital in the wee hours of the morning was caught in the act:

Jamie Lynn Spears left the Mississippi Southwest Regional Medical Center in McComb, Mississippi Saturday two days after giving birth. The 17-year-old was driven out of the hospital by 19-year-old fiance Casey Aldridge in a white Range Rover at 1:40 a.m. She was in the back seat surrounded by a white sheet. The couple received a police escort.

And so … their new life as a new family officially gets underway. I suspect that we won’t be seeing hide nor hair of either JL or baby Maddie for some time now … maybe not until those $1 million dollar OK! magazine photos have been shot. In any event, I hope the new family enjoys their first weekend together in peace and quiet. They really should enjoy it while they can.
