Tawny Kitaen, former video vixen and one-time castmember of The Surreal Life, was arrested in New Port Beach, CA yesterday on charges of driving while under the influence. As you may recall, Kitaen was arrested back in 2002 for assaulting her then-husband (major league baseball player) Chuck Finle and in 2006 she was arrested for possession of 15 grams of cocaine … now Kitaen can add drunk driving to her growing list of crimes:

Newport Beach PD tells TMZ that former actress and Whitesnake music video vixen Tawny Kitaen was arrested in Newport Beach, Calif. today for suspicion of driving under the influence. Kitaen was arrested at about 3:00 PM Saturday when officers suspected she had been driving her Range Rover under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Kitaen was released after posting $2,500 bail.

Paging Dr. Drew Pinksy … it looks like we’ve got another celeb with addiction problems that you can exploit for financial gain on another season of your VH1 reality TV series Celebrity Rehab. If I remember correctly, Tawny was quite a pistol during her season of The Surreal Life … it seemed at the time that she had a better handle on her demons … I suppose that assumption was incorrect. While I’m glad she was arrested and therefore taken off the streets it’s unfortunate that she’s already free to put other people’s lives in danger again. If convicted, I hope she is put somewhere where she can really get help for her problems … and is kept away from innocent drivers on the streets.

So … some sort of bet went down yesterday between John Mayer and TMZ on Twitter over a little matter of Mayer’s arrest in 2001. From what I can surmise, Mayer bet TMZ $25,000 (to be donated to charity) that they couldn’t find his mugshot from an arrest that took place many years ago (his actual tweet challenge read thusly, “Challenge: if Harvey Levin at TMZ can produce my mug shot, I will donate 25k to the charity of his choice.”. TMZ took the bet and started searching … altho TheSmokingGun.com posted the mug shot about 5 minutes before TMZ did, TMZ claimed victory that they did “find” the mug and Mayer agreed to pay up. It turns out that Mayer was arrested on May 26, 2001 in Atlanta, GA for driving with a suspended license (see what I mean about those traffic violations piling up and becoming serious offenses?) and was booked and mug shotted. Because TMZ won the bet, Mayer agreed to pay the $25k which will be split between 2 animal charities. I dunno why Mayer thought that TMZ wouldn’t find the mug shot … even if TheSmokingGun.com beat them to the punch, he should’ve known that TMZ is really good at sniffing out mug shots. At least the money is going to a good cause … so it’s the needy animals that really come out the winners here.

Patrick Stump, the lead singer of the emo rock band Fall Out Boy, was arrested in Hollywood, CA last night after police determined that he had an outstanding traffic warrant for driving without a license. You don’t get more rock star than that, y’all!

The lead singer of the group Fall Out Boy was arrested [Tuesday night] in Hollywood. TMZ has confirmed cops busted Patrick Stump around midnight on a traffic warrant for driving without a license out of Beverly Hills. Nothing screams rock ‘n’ roll like being wanted in Bev Hills. Stump [was] held at the West Hollywood Sheriff’s station on $15,000 bail … Stump was released on bail around 4:30am.

In all honesty, as far as getting arrested goes, this incident isn’t all that bad. Thankfully he wasn’t busted for something as heinous as drunk driving, which is pretty unforgivable to me. It seems to me that this was prolly a matter of Stump getting busted for driving without a license and his failure to make amends. Folks, if you get busted for a traffic violation (including multiple parking tickets) you will eventually get busted harder for the infraction somewhere down the line. The cops never forget and the longer you wait, the more trubs you will get in. Take care of your shizz, y’all and you won’t suffer an embarrassing bust like Mr. Stump’s.

More sad busted news to pass along today … TMZ is reporting that Michael Douglas’s son Cameron was arrested in NYC yesterday for the second time since 2007 for possession of a controlled substance. This time around, homie got napped with methamphetamines on his person which police believe he intended to “distribute”:

We’ve learned Michael Douglas’ son — actor Cameron Douglas — has been arrested in New York City for possession of methamphetamines with the intent to distribute. It’s not the first time Cameron has been busted for drugs. Back in 2007 he was charged with felony possession of a controlled substance after cops found a syringe with liquid cocaine in a car he was in. The mugshot in this article is from his 2007 arrest. We’re told the 30-year-old actor was taken into custody by federal authorities [Monday]. He remains in custody.

Yikes!! It sounds like Cameron Douglas has got a wee problem with some pretty nasty stuff. What I can never understand is why does the child of a wealthy celeb need to distribute anything that might get him or her arrested? Unless there is some sort of falling out between parent and child (which isn’t too hard to believe if the kid’s got a drug problem), you’d think there’d be no need to distribute anything to anyone. I was just watching Michael Douglas in The American President yesterday (which is such a cute movie) afternoon and then this news come out … such a shame. Here’s hoping the young Mr. Douglas gets the help it sounds like he needs.

Former Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County reality TV star Jason Wahler (who famously dated Lauren LC Conrad for a while during her stint on The Hills) was arrested over the weekend for the 5th time. As you may recall, back in 2007, Wahler was arrested 4 times for crimes as varied as trespassing, assault, hate crimes, drunkenness and more … and this weekend he added assault with a deadly shoe to his list of crimes and misdemeanors. According to police, a very drunk Jason Wahler had to be arrested after he took off his shoes and started hurtling them at people. He got busted, y’all:

Former “Laguna Beach” star Jason Wahler got beach-slapped by the law Friday night — after Laguna Beach cops say he got drunk and threw his shoes at people … seriously. According to law enforcement sources, Wahler got into a scuffle with a bouncer at the Ocean Avenue Brewery and eventually got himself ejected. Somehow Wahler made his way back inside, cops said, and the bouncers had to toss him out again. But here’s the best part — witnesses say a frustrated Wahler then removed his shoes and fired them into the bar — and when security came out to remove him permanently, Jason allegedly threw a punch. Cops soon arrived on scene and arrested the reality reject for battery and public intoxication. Wahler still had 11 days left on his probation stemming from a drunken, racist, homophobic, violent tirade back in 2007– which means he’s gonna get in even more trouble if convicted.

Yikes, what a sad shell of a person this young man has become. After all the trubs he got into back in 2007, you might imagine that had learned his lesson. In fact, he’s kept his nose out of trouble for almost 2 years now … but clearly, if this police report is to be believed, Wahler’s problems with alcohol are still intact. Perhaps forcing the lad into a rehabilitation program will do him some good, mebbe save his life? I sincerely hope Jason Wahler cleans up his act before he totally ruins what’s left of his life.

Here’s a little bit of news that is sure to kill a little piece of your childhood. Walter Jones, who starred as the original Black Power ranger on the 90’s TV series Mighty Morphin’ Power Rangers, was arrested over the weekend for DUI:

It seems that Jones didn’t pick up any of those morals that he and his Power Ranger cohorts were peddling to kids on their TV show about good vs. evil. It seems that he thinks that it is OK to drink, drive and put other people’s lives in danger … here is the moron’s mug shot:

was busted in ‘Bama for DUI this weekend. We’re not trying to be insensitive in a Harvard sort of way. His character, Zack Taylor, was the guy who dressed up in the black spandex costume and fought evil monsters back in the day. We’re told the actor — whose real name is Walter Jones — was arrested Sunday night by Alabama State Troopers in Huntsville and booked into a local jail. Jones eventually met bail and was released.

Tsk, tsk. I seem to recall that Skylar Deleon, who also appeared on Mighty Morphin’ Power Rangers in the 90’s, was arrested, convicted and sentenced to death for the murder of a SoCal couple. HMMMM. What the hell happened to all the Power Rangers? I wonder what Amy Jo Johnson (the Pink Power Ranger and ex co-star on Felicity) thinks about this? So sad … so, very sad.

Okay, so I know many of y’all are prolly thinking … who? But some of you may know Jeffrey Donovan as the hot lead actor on the USA Network series Burn Notice. Again, many of y’all are thinking … what network? But … just bear with me. Okay, so David loves watching Psych on USA Network and occasionally watches the spy series Burn Notice which stars hottie Jeffrey Donovan … well, apparently Mr. Hottie got busted for drunk driving on July 12 (my birthday) and, truth be told, still looks kinda hot in his mugshot:

The star of that show “Burn Notice” may have been a little too lit up when he got behind the wheel last weekend — dude was arrested for allegedly driving under the influence in Miami. TMZ has learned Jeffrey Donovan was arrested on suspicion of DUI last Sunday, July 12th. The 41-year-old posed for a cop cam and was released several hours later. So far, no comment from Donovan’s reps.

Okay, so he may not look sooo hot in his mug (especially since I’ve seen him look much hotter) but a bust is a bust and idiots who get arrested for endangering the lives of others by drunk driving should be shamed in public. Burn Notice is a pretty decent show, even tho I don’t really watch it. It’s be a shame for Donovan to lose what little fame he has just because he doesn’t know that drinking and driving doesn’t mix. Get your shizz straight, dude … otherwise no one will ever know who the hell you are.
