Amanda Bynes Comments On Her Most Recent Arrest

After Amanda Bynes was arrested in NYC last night on charges of marijuana possession, endangerment and evidence tampering, she spent the night in jail before she and her sorry wig got hauled into court earlier today so that she could be arraigned. The ruling judge saw fit to release Amanda on her own recognizance without having to post bail and that was it … she was free again. Bynes managed to keep quiet for a few hours after her release from custody but this afternoon, just as I expected, she posted a message on her official Twitter profile in response to the hullabaloo that was generated by her arrest. So late last night Amanda Bynes went and got herself arrested on charges of marijuana possession, endangerment and evidence tampering. Shortly after her bust, video of her arrest hit the Internets that showed Amanda‘s disheveled state as she was led by police to the awaiting car that was transporting her to jail for the night. Upon her arrival at the police station, Bynes was booked and mug shotted … twice. It’s unclear why Amanda was mug shotted twice but you can click below and see both of the photos. In the first, Amanda was allowed to wear her sorry-looking synthetic wig. In the second, she is wigless … and sporting super short, almost shaved hair. Yikes! Late Thursday night Amanda Bynes was arrested on charges of marijuana possession, endangerment and evidence tampering after police showed up at her home and allegedly found her in possession of weed and caught her in the act of throwing a bong out the window. Shortly after her arrest was reported, video of authorities escorting her to the police van after her arrest made its way to the Internets. Yes, the details of her weed possession crime are pretty heinous … but not as heinous as the entirely sad synthetic wig Bynes wore as she was led by police to the awaiting van. Seemingly right on cue, on the very same day that Amanda Bynes gets into a verbal feud with In Touch Weekly for publishing photos that were taken inside her dirty and disheveled home, Amanda got herself arrested for marijuana possession and disorderly conduct. It is being reported that police showed up at Bynes‘s home because of her erratic behavior and police found marijuana in her possession. She then, allegedly, threw her bong out the window … which is where the endangerment and evidence tampering charges come in. At the time of this blog posting (late Thursday night) Amanda is still in jail. More »

'You Better Not Arrest Me!'

Oh boy. Now, let me just say that Reese Witherspoon has come forward and apologized for her behavior, so I’m not tryna start no ish over here. I agree with Trent who acknowledged the fact that she handled her public apology very well and seemed sincere in taking responsibility for her actions. But I also was not that appalled by her behavior with the cops to begin with; the drunk driving on her husband’s part, yes– bad. Her going off on the cops? Well, that’s just not that big of an issue for me, personally. Even her saying ‘Do you know who I am?’ didn’t rub me the way it rubbed a lot of people (I actually believe most celebs would have and probably have said the same thing or something comparable in similar situations). And when the cop in this video above called her ‘anti-American,’ I just… couldn’t. LMAO. Anyway, TMZ has gotten a hold of footage from the dashboard camera videos and it pretty much shows it all. Early last week we learned the somewhat shocking news that Reese Witherspoon and her husband Jim Toth were both arrested in Atlanta, GA after their car was pulled over by police on suspicion of drunk driving. Jim was taken into custody for driving while being impaired and Reese was arrested for her disruptive and disorderly conduct. Since that arrest, Reese has kept on working but today she appeared on Good Morning America to admit her guilt and wrongdoing. During a promo interview for her new movie Mud, Reese opened up about that fateful night and fully admitted that she and her husband were completely in the wrong. Earlier this month comedian Kevin Hart was busted for drunk driving on an LA freeway. And, sadly, he’s one of a few celebrities who’ve been busted this month for the same reckless behavior. Reese Witherspoon made headlines when her husband was arrested for a DUI and she got herself locked up as well for Disorderly Conduct. Justin Bieber, currently on tour in Scandanavia, got himself in a bit of trouble Wednesday night when his tour bus was searched by police and a small amount of marijuana was found on board. To be honest, Bieber didn’t really get into trouble at all … but his bus sure did … but, then again, not really. According to reports, authorities noticed a suspicious smell coming from the bus so they decided to check things out. Crazy news coming out of Atlanta, GA today … it turns out that both Reese Witherspoon and her new husband Jim Toth were BOTH arrested early Friday morning!! The couple were pulled over by police due to Jim‘s suspicious driving and then all Hell broke loose. Jim was busted on charges of Driving Under the Influence and, reportedly, Reese flipped out on the cops so bad that she got her ass arrested for Disorderly Conduct. Both Reese and Jim were taken into custody and booked before they were released on bond at approximately 3:30 AM Friday morning. Wow.
