Man, Gisele is still so skinny … her ribcage is more prominent than her baby bump is … but still, she looks radiant. I cannot wait to see more pics of her emerging bump. I can only imagine how beautiful her baby born of Tom Brady‘s biz will look like. We still have many months to go before we find out exactly how cute that baby will be … but at least we can now start the countdown.

Last weekend we learned that Sarah Michelle Gellar, pregs with her first child with hubby Freddie Prinze, Jr., had her baby shower here in SoCal with a few friends and family. New photos published in the new issue of US Weekly magazine give us a little peek at the festivities that took place. The shower was held on August 1 at The Rise in Hollywood and was attended by SMG‘s celeb friends including fellow Buffyverse alum (and on-screen little sister) Michelle Trachtenberg and actresses Shannen Doherty, Kristin Chenoweth and Eva La Rue (who co-starred with SMG back during her All My Children days):

The shower revelers snacked on iced cupcakes from Sprinkles, got make-up tips and mini-make-overs from Napoleon Perdis and snapped funny photos in the on-site photobooth. Sounds like a fun party. As I said last weekend, by the time the shower rolls around you know it’s almost time for the mommy-to-be to blow. Hopefully we’ll be congratulating SMG and FPJ on the glorious arrival of their newborn child!

Samantha Burke, Jude Law‘s babymama/actress/model who will give birth to his 4th child, has been sharing the progress of her baby bump online for sharing with the world cuz when you’re incubating the fetus of a world-famous actor, you apparently want to share that kind of thing with any and everyone. Here are a few snaps posted by Burke on her online photo album:

In school she was voted the girl with the best smile in the class. But at the moment, Samantha Burke’s grin is not the thing that stands out in her photographs. The model, who is carrying Jude Law’s fourth child, has posted a series of pictures of her baby bump on the internet. Scantily clad and voluptuous, with her belly swelling out in front, she is almost unrecognisable as the fresh-faced high school student [remembered by high school friends]. Old friends have told the Mail that Miss Burke, now 24, was always part of the ‘popular crowd’ at school in Pensacola, a seaside town in northwestern Florida. Nicknamed Sambo and Sammy B, she was one of the ‘bat girls’ who would follow the school baseball team everywhere. ‘She was really into sports and she would always come to the baseball games to support us,’ said one of the former members of the team, Johnny Ray Smith. ‘Those type of girls are into more athletic guys. They are also athletic so they kind of stuck together, going out, working out and playing sports.’ Miss Burke is said to have caught boys’ eyes and was awarded the prize for ‘best smile’ in 2003, her graduation year. One high school friend, Richard Wiggins, now 25, said it was ‘no surprise’ that she had broken into the world of modelling. ‘She was always really pretty in school. She was popular with all the guys. They were always talking about her,’ he said. ‘She was eventually going to do something with her looks.’ Before her modelling career took off, Miss Burke spent her weekends at the beach with friends and worked as a scantily-clad Hooters waitress. She quit the job after being signed by Florida-based agency Izon Models and began travelling to and from New York for work. She eventually made the city her home and began to take acting classes at the New York Studio for Film and Television. Miss Burke met Law, 36, while he was in the city filming Sherlock Holmes. They are understood to have spotted one another outside the 1OAK nightclub in the city’s Meatpacking district. They went for a meal at a nearby diner before going back to the actor’s room at the Greenwich Hotel.

… And the rest, as they say, is history. While Samantha may have had a thing for baseball players in high school, she really hit a grand slam by bedding and gettin’ knocked up with the scrawny (yet sexy) Brit boy from the UK. It may seem a bit unsavory for her to be posting her bump watch diary online but I can’t really say that I blame her. She really did hit the jackpot with this one tho … gettin’ pregs by Jude Law is the best thing that’s ever happened to her career.

Nicole Richie was on hand in Beverly Hills, CA last night to debut her fashionable new line of maternity wear for A Pea in the Pod. Last month it was announced that Richie and Pod were teaming up to design a line of stylish wear for the pregs woman to wear and last night was its coming out party. Nicole, her burgeoning baby bump and others walked the red carpet last night in celebration … behold:

One of Tinsel town’s most fashionable moms-to-be is adding a little flair to maternity clothing. Nicole Richie, known for her Bohemian style, is teaming up with A Pea in the Pod to create a maternity wear collection, The former “The Simple Life” star announced on her blog on Tuesday. She’s extending her House of Harlow brand, which currently includes her successful jewelry range, to offer chic clothing choices for expectant women. Richie, 27, who gave birth to her line’s namesake, daughter Harlow, in January 2008, is pregnant with her and Good Charlotte frontman Joel Madden’s second child. An “excited” Richie posted behind-the-scenes pictures from her shoot with photographer James White for the upcoming collection.

Last week we learned the SHOCKING news that one of Jude Law‘s sexual trysts resulted in an unplanned pregnancy and altho we were left stymied for a whole day wondering who the lucky girl impregnated with Jude‘s seed was, we learned very quickly that her name is Samantha Burke … particularly because her lawyer released a statement to the media making sure everyone knew who she was. Since that time, Burke has released a statement to People magazine announcing the name of her unborn baby and then called a press conference to clear up any misconceptions about her relationship with Jude Law, her babydaddy.. After Jude Law announced that he was going to become a father for the fourth time on Wednesday, now lawyers for mom-to-be Samantha Burke reveal in an exclusive statement to PEOPLE that they’ll be having a little girl named Sophia.

“Samantha, her mom, and her family can affirm that Jude has been responsive and supportive throughout the relationship and pregnancy, and know that he will remain so as a father once Baby Sophia is born,” says the statement. “Jude and Samantha remain committed to the health and well-being of this child, and appreciate your honoring her privacy during this special time.”

The lawyers for Burke, a 24-year-old aspiring actress from Pensacola, Fla., who had a brief relationship with the actor when he was filming Sherlock Holmes in New York City last year, also confirm that she wouldn’t be granting any interviews despite numerous requests. “This remains a private matter between Jude Law and Samantha Burke,” the statement reads.

HMMM … yes … but while she was not granting interviews, the press conferences have been comin’ hot and heavy:

The mother of Jude Law’s fourth child has slammed reports the actor has shunned all contact with her – insisting quotes attributed to her mum were “taken out of context”. Samantha Burke is seven months pregnant with a baby girl after dating the Brit star when he was shooting Sherlock Holmes in New York earlier this year (09). New reports allege Law has refused contact with Burke since finding out she was expecting his baby, with Burke’s mother reportedly going on the record to voice her concerns. Lea Burke was quoted as saying, “Samantha has no idea what is going on. She is very stressed out and upset. This was never planned and Jude didn’t want the baby. It was a total accident. This was no way planned. Hell, no. She was in shock when she found out she was pregnant and terrified to tell him. It would be nice if the father was around but that’s not going to happen because of his job and Samantha knows that. Samantha is staying positive and hoping Jude will get in touch. She really wanted to get hold of him, but he hasn’t called once.” Burke was so infuriated by the reports, she appeared in public on Friday (31Jul09) for the first time since news of her pregnancy broke, admitting: “It’s a hard time.” She stood alongside her spokesperson outside her home to confirm Law is “committed to the health and wellbeing of this child”. The 24 year old’s spokesperson says, “Samantha and her mother would like to be clear that comments attributed to her mother and media stories reported in the last 24 hours regarding Jude’s contact with Samantha and his involvement were taken out of context. Samantha, her mom and her family can confirm Jude has been responsive and supportive through the relationship and pregnancy and know that he will remain so as a father once baby Sophia is born. Ahhhh … I see … so what she really wants is privacy. Got it. Oh man, Jude is going to have a lot of fun with this chick bringing forth his baby into the world. And the fun is just beginning. At least Jude will have two boys and two girls … a practically perfect family!

Because baby showers can be thrown at varying points ina woman’s pregnancy, it’s impossible to know for sure if she is particularly near her due date or not … but a baby shower generally means that it shant be long before the stork makes her delivery:

Interesting … I knew that Adam and the Gellar-Prinzes were longtime friends (and that he choreographed the Buffy the Vampire Slayer musical episode Once More with Feeling) but I did not know that he officiated the couple’s wedding. I wonder if he’ll be in line for godfather … mebbe fairy godfather? In any event, I’m so pleased that SMG seems to have enjoyed a lovely baby shower … I really hope it’s not long before she brings forth the fruit of her loins … because, as they say, “Into each generation a girl is born: one girl in all the world, a chosen one …” SMG‘s baby could be that chosen one. OR, it could be a little boy and that would kill all the slayer talk ;)

As you may recall, on Thursday we learned that Jude Law is going to be the father of his 4th child after he inadvertently got a young actress/model pregs after he enjoyed a fling with her in NYC early this year while he was filming Sherlock Holmes in NYC. On Friday we learned that Jude‘s babymama is a Florida woman named Samantha Burke and, apparently, she had to go thru Jude‘s publicist to inform him of the happy news of their unplanned baby (we learned this, of course, after Burke‘s legal representative reached to to TMZ to ensure that news of her identity was disseminated to the Internets appropriately). Last night, Jude Law greeted his fans in London after he emerged from the West End theater where he is currently starring in a production of Hamlet … and he was lookin’ decidedly more sweaty than usual:

Could it be that news of his new baby is givin’ him the sweats? Could be … after all, the woman he is now saddled with sounds like she was lookin’ to get as close to Jude as possible, being the big fan that she is. If you consider how quickly she jumped on the media bandwagon to ENSURE that everyone learn her identity as Jude‘s babymama … well, I’d say Mr. Law has quite the cause to sweat:

The news that a 24-year-old model and aspiring actress from Florida is seven months pregnant by actor Jude Law came as a bolt out of the blue. Samantha Burke, who is due to give birth in October, will soon be the mother of the British star’s fourth child. She had a brief fling with Jude last Christmas during the filming of the new Guy Ritchie movie, Sherlock Holmes. Her lawyers have confirmed that the 36-year-old actor, who has three children with ex-wife Sadie Frost, is the father of the model’s unborn baby. In a statement, Jude has pledged to ‘fully support’ his new offspring however the actress’s family are said to be horrified, and have instructed their lawyer to prepare an action to ensure mother and baby are looked after financially for the rest of their lives. The 24-year-old brunette is due to give birth to a baby girl, whom she plans to name Sophia, on October 6, which coincidentally is also the birthday of Jude’s oldest son Rafferty. There is already a registered gift list at infant retail emporium Babies R Us. Samantha has a profile on their website which says she is planning to decorate the nursery in ‘safari dècor’ with a ‘splash of deep red’ … A source in the U.S. told media that Samantha, who has had to move back home to Pensacola, Florida, struggled to get in touch with her former lover. ‘Samantha was trying to reach Jude to tell him she was having his child, but she couldn’t get hold of him,’ a source said. ‘He had given her a mobile phone number, but it was no longer working and Jude was working on a film. Finally she contacted Jude through his publicist. She had to go through his PR person to inform him she was pregnant with his child.’ But earlier this year, Miss Burke gushed about her pregnancy to a friend on the website Model Mayhem. ‘My tummy is growing!’ she wrote excitedly on the friend’s profile page. ‘October is when I am due, so maybe you’ll get to meet the little girly.’

What a mess … but, you reap what you sow. It’s unfortunate that things like this tend to happen but … they do happen. This is why it’s very important to practice safe sex, y’all. I’m still of the mind that it was the Jude’stache that got Jude in trubs with this girl. You can’t just go around rockin’ a sexy porn’stache and not expect to get into some sort of trouble. My guess is that Ms. Burke will be flaunting this baby bump all over the place. This surely is not the last we’ve heard from her.

Leave it to TMZ to sniff out the “secret” babymama of Jude Law‘s unplanned 4th child … next to Maury Povich, they’re the best source for finding out those nasty celeb paternity secrets that some folks would like to keep hidden. Early Thursday we learned that Jude Law released a statement confirming that he is going to be the father of a 4th child with a then-unnamed woman. Speculation ran rampant that the woman was Rachel McAdams‘s sister Kayleen, since Jude and she fraternized together while he filmed Sherlock Holmes in NYC last year — but McAdams denied that she is the babymama. Subsequently, TMZ figured out that Jude‘s real babymama is an “actress/model” named Samantha Burke … who, in turn, confirmed to TMZ that she is the lucky lady:

This is the mystery woman pregnant with Jude Law’s baby #4. We’ve learned her name is Samantha Burke, an actress and model. Our sources say DNA tests make it a slam dunk — Jude’s the daddy. The actor’s rep has confirmed the 36-year-old actor is expecting a fourth child with an ex-lover. Law has three children with his ex-wife, Sadie Frost. According to her online registry at Babies “R” Us, Burke’s due date is October 6th… It says she’s expecting a girl she will name Sophia. Burke’s attorneys just sent us the following statement:

“Ms. Burke can confirm that she did in fact have a relationship with Mr. Law and that she has informed Mr. Law that she is expecting his child later this fall. Since informing Mr. Law of the pregnancy, he has been nothing but responsive and supportive of Ms. Burke and the pregnancy.”

Oh Jude, you cad you. Well, it looks like the mystery has been solved and Kayleen McAdams is off the hook. I’m not sure how successful Ms. Burke‘s “actress/model” career has been thus far but it looks like she finally hit the fame jackpot nonetheless. Congratulations to the happy couple, I’m sure you’re both very proud right now!

The bad news is that the child was borne from a random fling with some chick last year and now he’s gonna be a babydaddy. “Jude Law can confirm that, following a relationship last year, he has been advised that he is to be the father of a child due in the fall of this year. Mr. Law is no longer in a relationship with the individual concerned but he intends to be a fully supportive part of the child’s life. This is an entirely private matter and no other statements will be made.”

Law, 36, is currently single and has three children with his former wife, Sadie Frost. He will appear on Broadway in Hamlet, which opens in October, and will star opposite Robert Downey Jr. in the movie Sherlock Holmes, opening Dec. 25.

Oh, Jude … Jude, Jude, Jude … I don’t think this is going to help your persona as a player, my friend. I love how the spin is that he was in “a relationship” last year. LOL! I don’t recall any relationship … so you just know it was a fling. My guess is that Jude‘s Jude’stache is what got him into trubs … with that sexy piece of facial hair luring in the ladies, well … I guess something like this is to be expected. UPDATE: I’m hearing from a Pink reader that the rumor is that Jude Law knocked up Rachel McAdams‘s sister Kayleen and Rachel was the one that pressured Jude into publicly admitting he fathered the child. I’m inclined to believe this bit of goss considering Jude could’ve met and hooked up with sister McAdams while filming Sherlock Holmes last year (Jude and Rachel co-star in the film). It doesn’t make sense that Jude would issue a public statement admitting that he fathered a lovechild unless he was pressured to do so by someone … HMMMMMM. Of course, we don’t know if any of this is true but it does make a helluva lotta sense. I suppose if Jude Law really did father a lovechild with Kayleen McAdams then that bit of goss cannot stay quiet for long. Juicy.

Kevin Federline, who honestly looks like he is pregs with triplets these days, made an appearance at the Ryan Sheckler X Games Celebrity Classic over the weekend and horrified employees of the event who couldn’t believe he has put on so much extra weight. I mean, we’ve all seen the photos of K-Fed getting bigger and bigger in recent months but … he just keeps getting bigger — behold:

At one point at Ryan Sheckler X Games Celebrity Classic, an employee on the grounds saw Federline and remarked, “Man, that’s a belly on him! That’s K-Fed?!?” While other celebrities like Verne Troyer, Frankie Delgado and Josh Henderson participated in competitive activities, Federline, 31, spent some time with girlfriend Victoria Prince sitting on a shaded patio sipping vodka and orange juice cocktails and smoking cigarettes. Federline underwent scrutiny after packing on major pounds last spring. His ex Shar Jackson laughed off criticism. “It’s daddy weight!” she told Usmagazine.com at the time. “When you are a full time parent, sometimes you can’t focus on you. If gaining a few pounds is your only problem, life’s not too bad!”

It’s “daddy weight”??? OMG, that confirms it … K-Fed is gonna birth a litter of babies … which he’ll prolly outfit in Ed Hardy baby diapers! I guess the time really has come to start an official Bump Watch for The Federline.
