Yesterday we learned that Jude Law’s babymama, Samantha Burke, worked out a deal to sell the first baby photos of their lovechild, Sophia Lee, to Hello! magazine when we saw a photo of Burke and baby arriving at the site of their photoshoot last week. Well, it turns out that Hello! magazine works FAST when it comes to publishing celebrity baby photos cuz the magazine has already been published and is ready to hit newsstands. Here is our FIRST LOOK at the baby borne of Jude Law and Samantha Burke’s love tryst which took place earlier this year:

Samantha Burke has shown off five-week-old Sophia Lee, her daughter by actor Jude Law, for the first time. The glowing 25-year-old brunette posed for a glossy photoshoot at her Florida home for Hello! magazine, with her baby, who was born weighing just 5lb 12oz after mother Samantha suffered a 25-hour labour. But despite DNA results proving the actor is the father of Burke’s child following a brief relationship, she revealed he has not yet visited his fourth child. Jude is currently wowing audiences on New York’s Broadway with his spellbinding performance in Hamlet. But it seems that his first glimpse of the child he has confirmed he is the father of will come at the same time as the rest of the world. Miss Burke, who reportedly earned £185,000 for the photoshoot, said: ‘She’s already got such a great personality. I think he’ll fall in love with her when he sees her.’ Describing Sophia, Samantha said she looks more like her famous father, and is already showing signs of sharing his mannerisms. ‘Her features are more like Jude’s. She has his chin and nose, and she does a little pout that I notice that he’s done before. I think her eyes are more like mine, though. ‘You can’t always tell when they’re so young but they don’t have that big, glassy look that his do – mine are a little smaller and more like hers.’ In a revealing interview, Miss Burke tells how she met Jude at a club in New York, and that the devoted father of three children – Rafferty, 13, Iris, nine, and Rudy, seven with ex-wife Sadie Frost – has not yet travelled to meet Sophia. ‘There are no plans for it to happen at the moment, but I know he’s busy.’ Asked if she had received any presents from Jude, who demanded a DNA test a few months ago, the former model admitted: ‘No nothing.’ She also revealed her hopes for her daughter’s relationship with the actor, who will soon be seen in Guy Ritchie’s film Sherlock Holmes. She said: ‘I hope for him to be just as good as he is to his three children by Sadie Frost. He’s a great father to his three kids. She’s his daughter and I believe he’ll come through. I mean once you see her face, how can you deny it?’ She also denied claims that she is a ‘gold-digger’, insisting: ‘It really hurt. I have never dated a guy for money. All my ex-boyfriends were just normal guys.’ A spokesman for Law acknowledged the pregnancy in a statement released in July after reports surfaced in the media that Burke was expecting. ‘Jude Law can confirm that, following a relationship last year, he has been advised that he is to be the father of a child due in the fall of this year,’ the actor’s representative said. ‘Mr Law is no longer in a relationship with the individual concerned but he intends to be a fully supportive part of the child’s life. This is an entirely private matter and no other statements will be made.’

There ain’t no denying that little Sophia Lee is a precious and beautiful baby. Whatever the circumstances of her conception, she is an adorable little miracle and should be treated as such. While I can’t say that I necessarily blame mama Burke for selling the photos to Hello! magazine, I do hope that she is smart with the money and socks it away for her daughter should papa Jude Law not step up and care for this child like he does for his other children. It’s really crappy for this innocent little girl that her famous father seems to want nothing to do with her … like it’s her fault :( In the end, I wish everyone involved the best of luck … this is not an ideal situation by any means. Sophia Lee is just the cutest little thing … may she live a long and happy life full of LOVE from her family. Congratulations are OFFICIALLY in order for Heidi Klum and hubby Seal who did INDEED welcome the birth of their fourth child, a girl, last Friday. As you may recall, RadarOnline reported exclusively that Heidi gave birth to a baby girl named Lou in the wee hours of Friday the 9th but Klum’s publicist quickly denied the report. It turns out that Radar was wrong about the time of birth but they were right about the day of birth and, more importantly, the baby’s name … so points for them. Heidi and Seal are now officially confirming the birth of their baby daughter, Lou Sulola:

Heidi Klum gave birth to a girl, Lou Samuel, on Oct. 9 in Los Angeles, her rep confirms. She joins siblings Johan, 2 ½, Henry, 4, and Leni, 5. The supermodel’s husband, Seal, released the following statement Monday night:

“It’s difficult to imagine loving another child as much as you love your existing children,” Seal writes. “Anyone who has a family will tell you this. Where will one find that extra love? If you love your existing children with all of your heart, how then can one possibly find more heart with which to love another? On Friday, Oct. 9, 2009, at 7:46 p.m., the answer to this question came in the form of our fourth child and second daughter,” he continues. “Lou Sulola Samuel was born, and from the moment she looked into both of our eyes, it was endless love at first sight. She is beautiful beyond words and we are happy that she chose us to watch her grow over the coming years.”

Yay!! At last, we can extend our love and congrats to the newly expanded family and send them the warmest wishes for little Lou. Seal’s statement is sooo cute … you can tell that he loves his family more than anything else on Earth. I’m very happy for the entire family … much love and congrats again!! I cannot wait to see what darling little Lou looks like :)

Congratulations are in order for supermodel Heidi Klum who has reportedly given birth to her 4th child early today, according to RadarOnline. As you may be aware, Heidi has been lookin’ ready to pop for some time now and it sounds like she has finally done it! Radar is reporting the little baby girl’s name is Lou:

RadarOnline.com has learned that Heidi Klum is a mom again. The supermodel gave birth Friday to a baby girl. The baby, named Lou Samuel, was born naturally at 1am, within one hour of being induced.

Yay! I knew she’d pop by the weekend, I just knew it! Much love and congrats goes out to the entire Klum-Samuel family on this little addition to their family!!

UPDATE: US Weekly is reporting that Heidi has NOT yet given birth to her baby but that labor is “imminent”, they say:

Despite multiple reports stating Heidi Klum gave birth to a baby girl early Friday morning, a source tells Usmagazine.com that the claims are untrue … The source tells Us this didn’t happen but that labor is imminent.

OY! I guess we’ll have to wait until official confirmation comes from the family themselves. If the baby’s name does turn out to be Lou then we will know that Radar was right. In any event, Heidi’s baby will be born this weekend … just as I predicted ;) Woot!!

In August we learned that Academy Award-winning actress Jennifer Hudson gave birth to her first child borne of her union with fiancée and former VH1 reality TV star David Otunga (known as Punk on the show I Love New York) … and today we get our first look at the little dude. Here is a beautiful photo of mama J. Hud and her son David Daniel in the pages of the new issue of People magazine:

Motherhood definitely seems to agree with Jennifer Hudson, who gave birth to her first child, David – named after her fiancé, David Otunga – on Aug. 10. “I love being nurturing and caring because I love to see other people happy,” says Hudson. “Who better to devote my time to than my own child?” From singing lullabies (”He can be crying at the top of his lungs and just turn off like a switch”) to frequent bottle-feedings (”I’ve never seen a baby eat like he does!”), the singer (who chose not to address the tragic loss of her family members last October) offers PEOPLE an intimate look into her new life as a mom.

Would you be supportive if he wants to pursue a career in entertainment?
“We’ll definitely encourage education. His father is an education fanatic so we definitely want him to get an education and go to school. My mom always said, ‘Whatever you want to do, I’ll support you as long as you’re happy.’ So I will do the same.”

He is so precious … mother and son look so adorably cute!! J. Hud did a great job of keeping her pregnancy underwraps, we didn’t know for sure she was pregs until about 2 months before her due date. Samantha Burke, Jude Law’s unfortunate babymama who famously called a press conference at her house to ask for privacy from press intrusion on her private life after she first practically screamed from the rooftops that she is pregs with Law’s baby, has released a statement to the media announcing to the world (and to babydaddy Jude Law) that Samantha and Jude are the proud parents of a bouncing baby girl named Sophia Lee! Here is what Ms. Burke has to say on the joyous birth of her illegitimate child with Mr. Law:

I’m relieved to hear that Ms. Burke gave birth to a baby girl but I’m sure she was just a wee bit disappointed … she was prolly expecting an over-stuffed money bag to come shooting out of her womb …

… but, still … a baby girl is deffo worth celebrating, I think! I’m not sure how happy Jude Law is to hear this news but I’m sure that babymama Burke and her little girl are really happy today. Any guesses on how Burke is going to introduce Law to his newborn treasure?

Amazing news to pass along … People magazine is reporting that Sarah Michelle Gellar gave birth to her baby LAST Saturday! As you may recall, I posted photos last Saturday of a heavily pregs SMG making her way to pilates class last Friday and I mentioned that she looked ready to pop at any moment … little did I know how right I was because she actually did pop last Saturday (one day after the most recent pics of SMG out and about in SoCal). SMG and hubby Freddie Prinze, Jr. welcomed the birth of a baby girl named Charlotte Grace!!!

Sarah Michelle Prinze and husband Freddie Prinze Jr. are parents, PEOPLE has learned exclusively. The couple “welcomed their daughter Charlotte Grace Prinze on Saturday, Sept. 19,” says a rep for the actress. “The family is over the moon.” This is the first child for the couple, who revealed that they were expecting back in April. Freddie Prinze Jr. will star on the upcoming season of 24. Sarah Michelle recently changed her last name from Gellar to Prinze.

OMG!!! A GIRL!!!! So many folks thought that SMG was carrying a baby boy but I kinda had a feeling in my gut that she was carrying a baby girl … a Chosen one … she who will RID THE WORLD OF THE SCOURGE OF VAMPIRES … okay, maybe notsomuch … but SMG and FPJ now have a baby girl of their own and I couldn’t be more ecstatic. Charlotte Grace is such a beautiful name. I cannot wait to see what the little darling looks like. It was very sneaky, sneaky of the proud new parents to go and have their baby without telling us right away … but I guess we can forgive them. Congratulations are in order for Nicole Richie and Joel Madden on the birth of their second child, a baby boy they have named Sparrow James Midnight! The official announcement was made on Nicole’s official website but the news was quickly disseminated by Joel on his official Twitter profile. It’s a boy!!

In the middle of night, the very early hours of September 9, 2009 Sparrow James Midnight Madden was born to Nicole Richie and Joel Madden. He weighs 7lbs 14oz. Nicole, Joel, Harlow and Sparrow are all doing well. Thank you for all of your good wishes.

I guess it turns out that those rumors we heard back in May about the baby being a boy turned out to be true!! You may recall that we learned over the weekend that Nicole reportedly checked into the hospital to give birth … and at last the Nic/Joel’s second child is born! Surely this must be a magic baby … he was born on 09.09.09. I can only imagine that the little guy is as cute as his big sister Harlow Winter Kate.
