Popstar Miley Cyrus, who was born Destiny Hope Cyrus, celebrated her 19th birthday in Hollywood, CA this week in a lavish fete inside the Roosevelt Hotel that was thrown by Miley‘s BFF Kelly Osbourne. Miley‘s boyfriend Liam Hemsworth was in attendance as were friends like Rumer Willis and tiny entertainers … like a mini Nicki Minaj and a few Oopma Loompas. Birthday lurve and congrats goes out to the folks at TMZ because today they are celebrating their 6 year birthday/anniversary. That’s right, 6 years ago a little funny-named website (TMZ is an acronym for Thirty Mile Zone, btw) launched and very quickly made a huge splash in the celebrity gossip scene. Yesterday was all about the babies for David and me. No, we didn’t run out and buy one of our own … but we did get to spend the day with 2 beautiful little darlings and their parents. First up, we made our way to Silverlake to attend Audrey’s 1st birthday party. Her mother Genevieve and daddy Charlie are always so gracious to invite us to their family celebrations so we were thrilled to attend. Later in the day, we made our way to the Valley to meet for the first time little Gemma, the first borne child of our good friends Gillian and Tim. It was deffo a Baby, Baby Sunday. More »

10 years ago yesterday — October 23, 2011 — Steve Jobs announced to the world the creation of the Apple iPod … a portable MP3 player. At the time, not many people had much faith that the iPod would be a successful product … but Steve Jobs knew he had created a revolutionary device. Not only is the iPod responsible for the survival of Apple Computers but it is also, IMHO, largely responsible for the salvation of the music industry. Before the iPod was introduced, Apple was in danger of going under … and the music industry was largely being decimated by illegal downloading. Thanks to the popularity of the iPod (which led to the invention of the iPhone … and then the iPad), Apple not only survived … it thrived … and eventually grew to be one of the most successful companies in the world. And the music industry found new life with online digital sales And it all happened 10 years ago, with the introduction of a little device that put 1,000 songs in your pocket. More »

Last night David and I were invited to Jane’s House in Hollywood to help our good friend Johnny Lopez celebrate his 40th birthday! Johnny went all out for the affair with a live band AND a DJ, delicious food and signature drinks. Johnny‘s mom and sister flew in for the party and we all had the BEST time ever! Celebrating David

Last night, for David’s birthday, a group of our dearest friends gathered at Next Door Lounge in Hollywood for a simple get together. As usual whenever we are able to spend time with our friends, a great time was had by all. Not only were we blessed with great company but we were also treated to excellent food & drink along with top notch service from the folks at Next Door Lounge. Lindsay Lohan & Dina Lohan Share A Birthday Kiss Together

Brace yourselves, y’all … cuz what I’m about to share with you is … unsettling … to say the least. Rumor Fix was in this hiz this week at Dina Lohan‘s 49th birthday party in NYC and they managed to snap photos of Dina and daughter Lindsay Lohan sharing a kiss for the special occasion. But it wasn’t your run-of-the-mill sweet kiss between mother and daughter … the open mouth smooch looked, well, less than sweet. What’s worse is that Dina‘s youngest son Dakota Cody Lohan was seating right next to Dina and Linds while they made out for the cameras. Ugh, as if the poor kid hasn’t suffered enough being a Lohan. ‘Labor’ Of Love

Labor Day yesterday turned to be a very chill, very fun day. Tam and Rob hosted a Labor Day BBQ at their home and we decided to swing by for a bit … and ended up hanging all afternoon/evening/night. Tam will be celebrating her birthday on Friday but yesterday’s party was turned into an impromptu early birthday celebration for her … complete with TWO birthday cakes :) A grand time was had by all … absolutely.
