Sean Preston and Jayden James weren’t the only celebrity kids celebrating their birthdays this weekend … here are pics from Heidi Klum‘s elaborate superhero-themed costume party that she hosted for her eldest son Henry (who she had with hubby Seal) in Beverly Hills, CA yesterday afternoon:

Heidi managed to nab celebrity guests like Debra Messing, with her son Roman, and Vicki B., with her son Cruz. Heidi is well-known for her ridiculously lavish Halloween costume parties and it looks like she is happily transplanting that love to her children as well. No word on what costume VB was attempting to pull off with her new hairdo but it looks a little Something About Mary to me … which is wholly inappropriate for a kid’s birthday party, yes? In any event, Birthday Lurve goes out to little Henry for his 3rd birthday :)

Yesterday afternoon, Britney Spears invited an intimate selection of family members and close friends to a birthday party she hosted for her sons Sean Preston and Jayden James. Because her eldest son was born on September 14, 2005 and her second son was born on September 12, 2006 it, apparently, makes the most sense to celebrate the boys’ birthdays together since their birthdays are only 2 days shy of a year apart. Here are a few pics of Spears family birthday fête which took place in Los Feliz, CA yesterday afternoon:

Britney Spears revved up the celebration for sons Preston and Jayden on Saturday, throwing her sons a joint car and truck-themed birthday bash in Los Angeles. And the party was truly a family affair. Spears celebrated her boys’ special days – Preston turns 3 on Sept. 14, and Jayden turned 2 on Sept. 12 – with sister Jamie Lynn Spears, her newborn niece Maddie Briann, dad Jamie and mom Lynne. Held at close friend Adrienne Maloof-Nassif’s Beverly Park house, the outdoor party drew some famous guests, including Jenny McCarthy with her son Evan, and Gwen Stefani’s son Kingston, 2, who came to the bash from an equally starry affair: He celebrated Heidi Klum’s son Henry’s 3rd birthday at the model’s Beverly Hills house along with all three of Victoria Beckham’s sons. But the guests of honor seemed to be having the best time. Preston and Jayden drove around the party in mini motorized cars, which were customized Ed Hardy by Christian Audigier. The cars featured tattoo-inspired decals, Ed Hardy air fresheners and personalized license plates. To keep with the party’s theme, the cake was in shape of a yellow truck. “The boys received tons of birthday gifts,” a source told PEOPLE. “Britney and her family really made the party special for the boys.”

Oh yeah, now this sounds like a good ol’ fashioned Spears family get-together. I’m actually surprised that there is no mention in this report of Kevin Federline being in attendance … surely the father of the kids was allowed to attend. As you can tell from the first photo, Britney‘s older brother Bryan was in the hiz for the celebration and he wasn’t mentioned either. In any event, it looks like a really fun birthday for the boys … we know they love trucks so I assume they had a great time. Happy Birthday, Sean Preston (tomorrow) and Jayden James (yesterday)!!!

UPDATE: I just found out that Kevin Federline WAS NOT in attendance at his sons’ joint birthday party after all, he was bizzy partying with “a group of ladies” and spent all of last night seated at Privé nightclub’s private and exclusive Table 69 in Las Vegas, NV. Proof positive that K-Fed is worthy of his recent Father of the Year title.

Guy Ritchie celebrated the big 4-0 earlier this week in the Mayfair district of London at the pub he owns with wife Madonna (The Punchbowl) and it looks like homeboy had himself a great time. Madonna, I understand, did not. According to reports, she bolted from the soiree at 10PM to take the kiddies home and didn’t come back. Here are a few pics of the birthday boy partying and his barretted bride Maddy bolting on his birthday night:

Guy Ritchie spent most of his 40th birthday celebrations without wife Madonna. Along with their children, Madonna joined her husband Wednesday at their Mayfair pub The Punchbowl for a low-key party with Trudie Styler and David Gest, among others. Around 10 p.m., Madonna (who is in the middle of her Sticky and Sweet tour) and the kids called it a night. After helping them to a waiting car, he then returned to the pub to keep partying, London’s Daily Mail reports. He didn’t call it a night until 4 a.m. No doubt Ritchie had fun: He was photographed making goofy faces all night and revelers were heard belting out old-fashioned classics such as “My Old Man’s a Dustman” and “It’s a Long Way to Tipperary,” according to the Daily Mail.

I mean, it makes sense … Maddy is on tour right now, she can’t be partying into the wee hours of the night. I think it’s very cool that she came out to the party at all. I imagine it’s difficult to get Maddy off her regimented routine while she is on tour … it must be lurve if she goes against the grain just for her hubby’s birthday. This is just further proof to me that their marriage is sound and everything is A-OK. Yes?

Romeo Beckham celebrated his 6th birthday with his family and friends yesterday at the Universal Citywalk here in SoCal and he managed to do so incognito. Romeo thought it would be totally fetch to show up at his birthday party dressed as Batman … which is infinitely cooler than dressing up like the Red Power Ranger like his little brother Cruz Beckham did:

VB, it must be said, looked her usual chic self in her stylish orange dress … the eldest Beckham child, Brooklyn, opted out of dressing up in costume (guess he’s too old for such frivolities) and daddy David Beckham opted out of attending the birthday celebration altogether. Brody Jenner and some of his friends/Hills cohorts trekked on down to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico last weekend to celebrate his 25th birthday at the LG Villa Cabo (his actual birthday was August 21). Brody Jenner enjoyed an extended 25th birthday celebration in Cabo San Lucas over the weekend with his Hills castmates in tow. Jenner, along with Lauren Conrad and Audrina Patridge, reveled in all-night partying and daily beach lounging at the LG Villa, a private mansion in the Mexican resort town. The trio, as well as Jenner’s buds Frankie Delgado and Doug Reinhardt, arrived Thurs., Aug. 21—Brody’s actual birthday—and got down to some serious fun. “They went bananas,” a source tells E! News. “They partied until about 3 a.m.—cocktails, birthday cake, in and out of the pool.” The next day was spent surfing and tanning, and then as the sun set, the reality stars headed into downtown Cabo, where they drank with locals before heading back to the estate for another party. “Friday night was crazier—they were up until 8 a.m., beer and margaritas all night,” the spy says. Each of the guys had his own accommodations at the seven-bedroom estate, but Lauren and Audrina opted to share the Honeymoon Suite together. And where was Lo Bosworth in the mix? “Nowhere to be found,” the source said. “Lo doesn’t really know him. It was Brody’s trip, just his close friends,” says the spy.

No word on what, if anything, these folks got paid for this little holiday but if the Hills pay scale trend continues, then we know that poor Frankie didn’t get a dime. Miley Cyrus has decided to celebrate her Super Sweet 16th birthday party at the Happiest Place on Earth — Disneyland! Miley will be be hosting her Disneyland birthday on October 5th, the very same day that Disneyland Gay Days will be in full swing. A coincidence? I think not:

The world’s most popular teenager, Miley Cyrus, will celebrate her 16th birthday at the Disneyland resort in Anaheim, Calif., on October 5, the same time Gay Days takes place. The 11th annual Gay Days event, which attracted 30,000 gays and lesbians to the park last year, actually takes place October 3-5. Gay Days describes itself as a “mix-in with straight parkgoers,” where the LGBT crowd wears red shirts. Gay Days is not Disney-sponsored, so park operators will not have official regulation over the event. Cyrus will celebrate her birthday with 5,000 fans, including volunteers from Youth Service America on October 5. “I only turn 16 once, so it’s going to be an awesome party with my favorite rides, hanging out with friends, fireworks, and more,” she said in a press release on Thursday. “I’ll even get to sing a couple songs.” Cyrus’s event promises fireworks, music, and a celebration for the youth volunteers.

Yesterday, the one-and-only Madonna turned 50 years old … last night, she and her hubby Guy Ritchie stepped out on the town in London together to celebrate her 50 years of life … here are a few pics:

Madonna celebrated her 50th birthday in glittering style last night as she draped herself in jewellery to attend a party thrown in her honour. Dripping with silver necklaces and sporting shiny sleeves to match, the singer arrived at the Volstead club in London’s West End accompanied by her husband Guy Ritchie. The couple were all smiles as they headed into the venue, with protective Guy holding onto his wife’s arms. Madonna – wearing thigh boots, a partially transparent chiffon dress and her Kabbalah bracelet – looked positively radiant as she smiled for photographers. The night before the couple had attended a service at a Kabbalah centre in Marylebone. Perhaps the Queen of Pop was giving thanks for her glittering career or maybe she was praying for Mercy, the little girl whom she is hoping to adopt from Malawi. Earlier this week the Mail learned that Ritchie, keen to give his wife the ultimate birthday gift, has given in to her demands to adopt a second Malawian child.

Aww … she looks great … and they both look so happy. It really seems like Madonna had a great birthday (I suspect that gaudy M-Dolla rhinestoned clutch was a gift from one of her admirers) and that all is well with her marriage. That may be the best birthday gift of all. Oh yeah, I’m laying on the cheese today :)
