Princess Charlotte Is 1 Month Old

ALREADY?!

If you can believe it, it was a month ago today that Prince William and Kate Middleton — the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge — gave birth to their second childPrincess Charlotte Elizabeth Diana. Altho we haven’t seen the little miss since the day she was born and left the hospital with her parents, I think it’s safe to assume that the princess has done a bit of growing in the past month. I mean … HELLO! A month? How has it been a month since that baby was born? Ugh. More »

Long Hair, Don’t Care

The TV Guide

Yesterday was a fun filled day for me. I got to spend the afternoon at a houseparty hanging out with friends and then I spent last night at a WeHo party hanging out with more friends. The houseparty was just a really chill event where I got to catch up with folks that I haven’t seen in a while and meet new friends as well. The WeHo party was just totally nuts, totally fun, and really wigged out. Altho I got to celebrate Darion’s birthday on his actual birthday this past Thursday, last night was his big soirée on the town. First we hit up The Abbey, then we hit up Flaming Saddles. Everyone was required to wear a wig and I ended up having the best night ever as a sassy blonde :) More »

Smell The Magic Again

The TV Guide

Last night was a busy night for me. Yesterday was Darion’s birthday and while the big celebration is yet to come on Saturday night, he gathered together a small group of friends for dinner at Connie & Ted’s in West Hollywood, CA. Dinner was really great because I got to see a few friends I hadn’t seen in a while and, of course, because we all got to celebrate Darion’s birth. After dinner, I made my way to the Echo in Echo Park to see L7 perform a super tiny pre-tour warm up concert and OMG were they amazing. Last night was seriously one of the best nights I’ve enjoyed in a while. More »

Birthday Lurve For Emma!

The TV Guide

Last night I got to spend the evening/night with Emma, Josh and Duke in early celebration of her birthday today. It’s been a couple of weeks since I’ve seen the happy fam so the occasion of Emma’s birth was a nice chance to spend time with them and catch up. I picked up some goodies on my way over in anticipation of our night together. After we grabbed some dinner at the Local Peasant in Sherman Oaks, we chilled at their place for the rest of the night snacking on cookies, drinking wine and watching Ghoulies III: Ghoulies Go To College. In short, it was the perfect evening with the fam. More »

Trent Reznor Of Nine Inch Nails Turns 50

The TV Guide

Today is a very special day for fans of Nine Inch Nails because it is the 50th birthday of NIN mastermind Trent Reznor. It is insane to think that Reznor is actually 50 but when milestone birthdays come along, they must be paid homage to. I am very proud to say that I have been a NIN fan from the very start. A friend of mine brought her Pretty Hate Machine CD to social studies class during my Freshman year of high school and literally changed my life forever. With the release of NIN‘s sophomore album The Downward Spiral came a musical awakening in me that completely upended everything that I knew before. I’ve seen NIN live in concert all over the US, as well as internationally, and absolutely consider Nine Inch Nails to be my all-time favorite. In recent years I’ve been fortunate enough to strike up a friendship with TR and his beautiful family and it is with all the love I can muster that I wish Trent the Happiest Birthday of all. I had a hard time finding the right photo to use for this post so I decided to share a few of my faves to celebrate TR‘s birthday today. I hope he has the best day ever and I am very much looking forward to wishing him Happy Birthdays for many, many years to come!

Birthday Birthday

The TV Guide

Yesterday I got to celebrate the birthdays of two very special ladies. For the early part of the day, I got to spend time with Tamar’s mom Jackie in celebration of her birthday (which is actually today). Tam’s dad Richard invited me to join his family for an afternoon concert by flautist Claire Chase at UCLA and then for a sumptuous sushi dinner afterward. Last night, I met up my by dear Emily (fellow member of Sons of Anakin) to celebrate her birthday (which was yesterday) with our SoA member Ashley and their boyfriends David and Nic. Two birthdays, one day … too much fun. More »

Birthdaymania

The TV Guide

Yesterday was a really fun day for me because I got to spend the early part of the day celebrating my friend Caleb‘s birthday with a bunch of my best friends and the latter part of the day watching Wrestlemania with my friend Eileen. The birthday party part was fun, obvs, because it’s always a treat when our group of friends can get together to hang out. Caleb is truly one of my favorite people so it was really great getting to celebrate with him. The Wrestlemania part of my day was fun … interesting and fun … kinda. Eileen and I watched it for kicks and altho wrestling isn’t really my thing, we ended up having fun together. More »

A Most Eggs-cellent Saturday

The TV Guide

My Saturday yesterday was jam-packed with great people and fun stuff to do so I think it shall be recorded in the annals of history as one of the greatest Saturdays that ever was. Because I had to make a quick trip to Anaheim to pick up a birthday present for a party I was going to later in the day, I kinda accidentally paid a quick visit to Disneyland for a few hours before I made my way back to LA to celebrate said party with my friend Stacey. After I was sufficiently house partied out, I made my way over to Emma and Josh’s so that we could get downtown to see a movie at the Electric Dusk Drive-In. I mean, I to play at Disney, party with some friends and end the night at the drive-in movies. It doesn’t get much better than that. More »

I’ll Never Stop Trying To Make ‘Fetch’ Happen

The TV Guide

Last night, Eileen and I made our way to the Arclight Theater in Hollywood, CA to see a special screening of the 2004 movie Mean Girls. Because Mean Girls is only one of the greatest films ever made, Eileen and I were very excited to see the movie again on the big screen. We met for dinner at Umami Burger in Hollywood before we went to see the movie. I made a pit stop at Amoeba Music to pick up Madonna‘s new album Rebel Heart on vinyl … then it was movie time. Afterward, we met up with her friend Kevin for drinks at The Hudson in West Hollywood and put a nightcap on a really fun day. More »

Duke Turns 1 (Month)

The TV Guide

Last night I got to hang out at Emma and Josh’s place so that I could celebrate their baby boy Duke’s 1 month birthday! It is utterly INSANE to me that Duke is already a month old because it seems like just yesterday that he was born … and now he’s a month and soon he’ll be 10 and then 20 and then I’ll be dead and gone. But, before Duke goes away to college, I was able to hang out with the little dude and his parents last night for an overdue hang out. As you can see below, Duke was happily wearing a little outfit that I got for him which is so darn cute that I have to share the photo far and wide. Will you please look below at how adorable Duke looks at 1 month old? More »
