Yesterday we got our first look at Zac Efron‘s sparse tragically thin facial on the red carpet at the Deauville American Film Festival in France this weekend … today we get another look at Zac‘s chin pubes on the red carpet at a photocall in Madrid, Spain for his film Charlie St. Cloud. Curiously, Zac‘s outfit made it seem less like he was a film event and more like he was auditioning to be the new Brawny paper towel man:

Hee hee … even with the facial hair, Zac does not look brawny enough to be the Brawny man. OY! I am still not feelin’ the beard and ‘stache … maybe it still needs to, ahem, grow on me but one thing’s for sure … it DEFFO still needs to grow on him.

Last week we got our first look at Jake Gyllenhaal and his sexy new full-face beard in Colorado, today we get to see the hairy Mr. Gyllenhaal in his more natural habitat of Southern California. Jakey poo was spotted visiting a friend’s cabin (in the woods) this week and as you can see, his fuzzy beard is still in full effect:

No lie, I am really loving this look on Jake. I imagine his beard is all fluffy and soft to the touch … ah, the touch. I’m not crazy about the outfit nor the mandals but the beard, me likely.

Pop superstar and sometimes director Madonna has been hard at work overseeing the filming of her new film W.E. and yesterday tried to make a daring escape from the film set without anyone noticing … unfortch, she failed miserably. Maddy thought that she could evade notice by the swarm of paparazzi by donning a clever disguise … behold:

Perhaps she was really auditioning for a role in an upcoming detective movie, perhaps her has an Inspector Gadget fetish … whatever the case may be, she really needs an oversized magnifying glass and a curved pipe to really make this ensemble pop!

Madonna, who just last weekend celebrated her 52nd birthday in high style, stepped out in London, England last night with her much younger toyboy Jesus Luz and decided NOT to dress for the occasion. Apparently, Maddy just wanted to step out with just an overcoat thrown on top of her comfy pajamas. Even worse, Jesus decided it was the opportune time to show off his new hair’do … homeboy got himself some cornrows:

Naturally, as soon as I saw these photos of Jesus and his new ‘do, I couldn’t help but be reminded of another famous cornrows wearer:

I mean, yeah, Maddy‘s pj pants are pretty atrocious but I really can’t get past Chuy‘s hair … I mean … no. It is a *very rare* occurrence when a man is able to pull off cornrows (tho, one does NOT come to mind at the moment) and better men than Jesus Luz have tried to rock the look and failed (David Beckham or Justin Timberlake, anyone?). This whole picture of Madonna & Child is a WORLD OF NO. I mean … yeah. No. Just … no.

Madonna was spotted on the set of the new film she is directing, a period piece titled W.E., in London, England over the weekend and see was wearing an outfit that looked inspired by her daughter Lourdes Maria‘s fashion sensibilities … which, of course, look to be inspired in turn by her mother’s fashion sensibilities from the 80′s. It was a veritable Fashion Circle of Life … behold:

Despite the fact that the color palette of these two outfits is black and white (rather than totally outrageous neon dayglo), I couldn’t help but be reminded that this one pant leg/one colored sock look seems very much inspired by the animated rockstar Pizzazz, leader of The Misfits from the 80′s cartoon Jem and the Holograms:

Because I love all things 80′s, I’m down with Madonna and Lola taking fashion cues from that decade and making them new again … even if Maddy is a bit long in the tooth to rock this look with any seriousness at all. But, we know one thing for sure … Madonna is a very cool mom. But, as amazing as Kathy has been lookin’, I can’t help but think of a new up-and-coming celeb who bears a striking resemblance to Ms. G:

Yes, ever since RuPaul’s Drag Race contestant and upcoming RuPaul’s Drag U instructor Pandora Boxx (nee Michael Steck) decided to steal Kathy‘s look, now all I see when I see Kathy is Pandora. Let’s be honest, tho, both beyotches look fierce but the edge has to go to Kathy for rockin’ this fabulousness first. Pandora may be a hot drag queen but Kathy is still the reigning queen queen.

Last week Katherine Heigl showed off a terrible hair’do that was far TOO OLD for her on the red carpet of the London premiere of her new film Killers and this week Tom Brady shows off a kinda terrible hair’do that is far TOO YOUNG for him seated courtside at the NBA Finals in Boston, MA. Is it just me or does Tom‘s new hair’do remind you of someone else?

Just before wife Gisele made her big comeback on the catwalk in Brazil, New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady was in Boston debuting something of his own–a shaggy new bowl cut! The proud papa of baby Benjamin was spotted front-and-center at the NBA finals last week sporting an overgrown mop that was a major departure from the debonaire, cropped hair that we’re used to seeing on the handsome quarterback during football season. The teenager-like look drew an overwhelming response from Patriots nation, with Boston-area stylists telling the Boston Herald that Brady’s Bieber hair should be “a little more textured, layered, a little more shaped.”

Oh man … this ‘do just looks so bad on Mr. Brady. Get thee to a barber shop, post haste!

Kylie Minogue has released a new promo image in support of her upcoming new album Aphrodite due out in early July … and in this new photo she is channeling the one and only Madonna. Kylie is rocking the iconic conical bra, designed by Jean Paul Gaultier and famously worn by Madge in her Express Yourself music video and during her Blonde Ambition Tour, in this fab new promo photo … behold:

They say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. Kylie Minogue must be hoping Madonna feels that way when she sees her trademark conical bra style from 20 years ago recreated by the same designer. Miss Minogue, right, donned the daring Jean-Paul Gaultier number to promote her 11th album Aphrodite, out this summer. Looking far younger than her 41 years, she teamed it with the designer’s high-waisted satin trousers and a slashed strappy top. The futuristic outfit is a slightly more conservative version of the iconic look he created for Madonna in 1990 – a gold conical bra corset and fishnet tights which caused a stir on the Blonde Ambition tour and became one of her bestknown images. It’s not the only thing Kylie has borrowed. All the Lovers, the first track on her album, is produced by Stuart Price, who has worked with Madonna.

I like this pic but while Kylie looks faboo in it, it’s impossible not to immediately associate the look with Madonna. She truly made this cone bra thing hers in the early 90′s so I have to believe that Kylie is very obviously paying homage to her in this new promo pic. Even still, it works … she looks amazing and I am SO excited to see more promo stuff from Kylie as the release date for her new album nears. We may have already gotten to hear Kylie‘s new single All the Lovers … but I’m dying to hear more!!!

Newish couple Reese Witherspoon and agent Jim Toth made their way back to Ojai, CA this weekend for a little romantic get-away for just the two of them. As you may recall, Reese and Jim sneaked away to Ojai back in March to celebrate Reese‘s birthday. It would appear that Ojai is a very special place for Reese to take the men that she is dating because before Reese and Jim went there in March (and again this past weekend), she and former boyfriend Jake Gyllenhaal made their way to Ojai back in December. In any event, it would seem that Reese and Jim are settling into couplehood very easily … I mean, after all, they already look like an old married couple:

I don’t know about YOU but to me it looks like Reese and Jim and in it for the loooooooong haul. These two really look like they’ve settled into their relationship quite nicely. Will their lurve be able to stand the test of time? We shall see. At this point, tho, it would seem they are well on their way to happy, traditional domesticity.
