In order to keep a tight lock on security surrounding Beyoncé giving birth, Lennox Hill Hospital reportedly gave Beyoncé and Jay-Z‘s security detail the power to regulate who was allowed where inside the hospital. As a result, reports say, other families were BARRED from having access to their just-born children in the intensive care unit — because they were NOT allowed to go anywhere in the hospital near Beyoncé and her baby. Damn.

E! News is reporting that Beyoncé and hubby Jay-Z have welcomed into the world their first child together. After many weeks of rumor and speculation over whether or not Bey gave birth or not, E! is reporting today that she has — in fact — given birth. As you may recall, we saw photos yesterday of Beyoncé out and about in NYC still very much pregnant … but at some point last night, it is being reported, she gave birth to a baby girl by C-section.
