Still Obsessing Over Kat Dennings
What a week for fashion?! The 64th Annual Emmy Awards! The Pitch Perfect premiere! The ladies were seriously bringing their A-game all week, and I’m still trying to figure out how to legally (or illegally) get a hold of some of these dresses, lol. Kat Dennings is also still my hero and Anna Kendrick really wowed me with her red carpet look (Elizabeth Banks kinda killed it too). Peep the gallery to see who else was looking all kinds of swanky and sexy this week. I think of all the dresses, the one I’d be most likely to commit a crime for is Lucy Liu‘s. Loved it.

And Some Who Were...
This is awkward. I love Rap. I love rappers. And yet. When those two things are celebrated in one space, at one time… ish may or may not go down. Now the truth is, we’ve had plenty of BET Award shows that didn’t involve violence, but last night’s taping of the 2012 BET Hip Hop Awards absolutely did. Young Jeezy (who I adore) apparently got into it backstage with Rick Ross; but when they decided to take it outside, someone from Ricky‘s camp allegedly started shooting (although some reports say no shots were fired). Anyway, some time later (after they went back to taping) Gunplay, another member of Rick Ross‘s Maybach Music Group, got jumped (allegedly) by a whole 50 Cent G-Unit crew. But then I heard 50 Cent and Diddy got into a beef backstage… and blah blah blah. The drama just went on and, since nobody actually got hurt, it’s honestly just embarrassing, lol. You can read more about the ridiculousness here. Peep the gallery to check out some of the celebs (violent and non-violent) who were in attendance. At least 2Chainz and his daughter (who is crazy cute) were okay.

Congrats To All The Winners & Nominees!
The 64th Annual Primetime Emmys aired last night and some of our favorites were big winners. If you didn’t catch the show you kinda missed out on a lot of good times. Jimmy Kimmel hosted and he was really fun (with that laid-back, dry humor he’s known for) and Tracy Morgan helped him out a bit, which was just awesome. Shows like Homeland (which swept the drama category), Modern Family (Outstanding Comedy Series), and Louis C.K. (one win, four nominations) did quite well for themselves. Breaking Bad‘s Aaron Paul was moved to tears when accepting the award for best Supporting Actor In A Drama Series and the new HBO show Girls, though nominated four times, didn’t take home an Emmy. But there’s always next year! Click inside for the full list of winners.
You'll NEVER Guess Who Won Best Video Of The Summer :)
Summer is officially DUNZO y’all! And since this year’s summer was full of so much EPIC (Tomkat, Robsten, and the crazy, sexy rebirth of Pink Is The New Blog, just to name a few), we’re saying goodbye in the best way we can. This season, the PITNB Pinkie Awards have carried us through the MTV VMAs, as well as the BET Awards and the MTV Movie Awards. We’re bringin’ them back as we celebrate our absolute favorite videos of the summer with categories like ‘Best Break-Up Video,’ ‘Best Use Of A Fierce Hot Pink Cape In A Video‘ and ‘Best Stripper Video That Also Re-Defined The Stripper Video.’ It’s the Pinkies y’all! Celebrate the perfect end to an oh-so-special summer, inside.

Chrianna Reunites, Rebel Wilson Slays, And P!nk Brings Down The House...
Folks, it’s time for another PITNB Pinkie Awards and I’m sooo excited for today’s winners! Last night the 2012 MTV Video Music Awards went down and, as usual, all kinds of madness ensued. Before the show, I wrote about some of the things I was most excited about and though there were many disappointments (Kevin Hart = FAIL), the event was still totally fun. Celebs were kissing, dissing, stage-diving, and getting pregnant (okay, showing up already pregnant, but still); it was awesome. We’ll start with the first award, for Most Controversial Kiss That Barely Qualifies As A Kiss But Was Still A HUGE Deal. Rihanna and Chris Brown‘s kiss heard ’round the world seemed to happen off-camera, but in this world we all know there’s no such thing as ‘off-camera’! MTV caught the two in the act after Rihanna accepted the coveted Video Of The Year award. Peep the video and I suggest watching it in full screen. Oh, and don’t blink! It’s a short kiss, but it’s a kiss alright! Your thoughts??? We’ve got more winners (i.e. Rebel Wilson, Katy Perry, Frank Ocean, and P!nk) inside!
And Amber Rose's Baby Bump!!! OMG!!!
As we all know, the 2012 MTV Music Video Awards went down last night in Los Angeles and I was crazy, super excited to watch the pop music event of the year unfold. Later today I’ll be awarding PITNB Pinkies (yeahhh!!!!) to many of the performers, but in the meantime, check out this gallery of the red carpet and press room arrivals. I thought the ladies really brought their A-game last night. Miley Cyrus looked amazing in her all-black dress and platinum blonde hair– she and P!nk (who looked equally stunning) looked like they got their hair did together. It was awesome! Taylor Swift and Rihanna went all-white (I’m guessing that Labor Day rule doesn’t apply to them… must be nice… lol) and both of them also killlled the red lipstick game. And then there was Amber Rose. OMG. Wiz Khalifa‘s fiancée who must, from this day forth, no longer be remembered as Kanye West‘s ex-girlfriend. Because she’s totally about to be somebody’s mama. And that ish cray. Sorry, that was an accidental Yeezy reference. No more of those! It’s official. She’s with Wiz. Everybody got it? Good. And she looked amazing!!!
Oh, and can someone please tell me what’s in Ke$ha‘s hand. Kthanks.

Rihanna and Drake Nab the Most Noms
It’s that time of the year again … time when MTV makes known the artists who have been nominated to win their coveted Video Music Awards for 2012. Now, I know what you’re thinkin’ … each year, many folks (me included) tend to have a love/hate relationship with the VMAs (I mean, let’s be real … some years the show is amazing, others notsomuch). But invariably, I approach each new VMAs with a certain level of excitement because at the core, the VMAs are a fun awards show. This year, Rihanna and her homie Drake lead the way with the most VMA nominations — they each nabbed 5 noms including Video of the Year. Click below to find out which other artists will be vying for MTV Moon Man trophies this year and see if YOUR faves made the cut. More »
Mad Men Didn't Get Any... J/K
Ok, remember when I did the Summer TV Guide and I promised I’d watch more TV? Well, I didn’t. Not really. Which is fine, except that I cannot offer smart and cheeky comments on most of the 2012 Emmy noms which were announced this morning! I have tried to catch some new shows (falling in love with The Newsroom and Political Animals… and, sadly, shamefully, and hopelessly addicted to Love & Hip Hop Atlana), so I’ll definitely need ya’ll to let me know if you agree with these nominations or not. Checkie out inside!

Your Favorite Awards Show's Favorite Awards Show
Back in May we had a glorious celebration in honor of the MTV Movie Awards with our very first Pinkies, and today we recap last night’s BET Awards in the same fashion. A helluva lot went down between G.O.O.D. Music‘s opening performance, Samuel L. Jackson and Spike Lee‘s pitch-perfect rendition of Negroes In Paris, and the Whitney Houston Tribute to end all Whitney Houston Tributes. Ah, what a night! We’ve got the best vids and a special Pinkie Award for all of these moments and more inside.
