After careful consideration (and genius side-by-side comparison), it seems pretty obvious that Conan’s new background came straight from the Mushroom Kingdom of the Super Mario Brothers video game:


From Gizmodo: Conan’s new Tonight Show set sure is nice, but the guys at Serious Lunch noticed that his new monologue backdrop looks pretty familiar. As in Mushroom Kingdom familiar. Chen and I are in disagreement as to whether or not this is intentional. I say it’s a coincidence, but he’s convinced that Mario was a definite inspiration for this background.

OMG … of course this background was inspired (to say the least) from the Super Mario Brothers video game. There is no way in hell that the indenticalness of the background to the layout of the video game can be mere coincidence:

As you may recall, a few weeks ago we learned that KC was a guest at Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt’s wedding (which was filmed for the show) and her appearance at the wedding turns out to be her introduction to the show. MTV has released a short vid of Kristin’s intro which will be featured on the season finale of The Hills which will air on MTV tomorrow night:


LMAO!!! I swear to the gods, I love his shizz. I haven’t been this energized about The Hills in eons. Having Kristin on the show as the main chick is gonna RULE … but, I’ve been saying that all along. Let’s just watch this preview clip, shall we? After the jump, check it out …


Hahahahaha … she just bounces in, sits down and takes ownership of the whole show. I.Love.It! The season finale of The Hills airs tomorrow night at 7PM ET.
