Britney Spears Enjoyed A Family Fun Day At Universal Studios

Our Dear Britney Spears and co.

For my last Britney Spears post here on Pink is the new Blog, I was really hoping that our dear Britney Spears might drop a surprise album or reunite with an alternate universe Justin Timberlake or something like that but no … there’s nothing quite that grand to blog about. On Sunday, tho, Britney and her older brother Bryan Spears took their children on a family trip to Universal Studios Hollywood for a family Sunday Funday together … and they shared fun photos and video from their visit. Britney brought her sons, Sean Preston & Jayden James, and Bryan brought his daughter Lexie to the amusement park for this fun family outing which, altho isn’t major news, is just the kind of thing I LOVE blogging about here on PITNB. Click below to see some of the fun that Britney and co. got up to, won’t you? More »

Last month, in mid-August, Disney announced the forthcoming construction of Star Wars Land attractions inside the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, CA and inside Disney’s Hollywood Studios at Walt Disney World in Orlando, FL which is set to get underway in 2016. Yesterday, Disney announced news that some parts of Disneyland will be closed so that construction of Star Wars Land could begin … and they also announced the debut of something called Season of the Force inside the theme park. So while the back part of the park will be closed while Star Wars Land is being built, Disneyland will be offering fun NEW Star Wars experiences in other parts of the park to make up for it. And The Emmy Almost Went To . . .

The TV Guide

Yesterday was a pretty fun Sunday Funday for me. As usual, I made my way down to Anaheim to hang out with my Sons of Anakin peeps at Disneyland for most of the EXTREMELY HOT day before I returned home to meet up with my friend Austin for a little Emmy night afterparty fun. Altho the temps were well into the 100s, all members of SoA made it out to Disneyland — while wearing their vests — so that we could attend our monthly meeting … and take a big family photo. Last night was really fun in an entirely different way. I’m not really big on the party scene but I was deffo in the mood to get out and have some Emmy night fun with my friend and we managed to enjoy a great night out. Sundays don’t get much better than this. More »

Famous By Association

The TV Guide

After I completed my 4th and final Disneyland Half Marathon early Sunday morning, I spent part of my day in Disneyland hanging with my friend Michael (from the Mickey’s Empire social club) for a long overdue bro date. He and I have been talking about hanging out for some time now and we finally got it together. Because of the holiday weekend, not many of my Sons of Anakin friends were in the parks so Famous Mike and I made a day of it. I also ran into my friends Erin and Chris in the park who are members of The White Rabbits social club. Chris also ran the Half Marathon so I had to give him props, love and congrats. Altho it wasn’t a bonafide Sunday Funday, I did have a great time with my friends in the parks. More »

The Disneyland Half Was Full Of Fun

The TV Guide

I was up and out the door super early this morning to run the 10th annual Disneyland Half Marathon. Of the 10 of these races, I have now run 4 of them … and altho I’ve had a blast each time, I think I’m officially finished with this particular race. I really wanted to run the race this year for the 10th anniversary, particularly because of how cool the medal is so I’m really glad that I got ‘er done. The weather was perfect, the course was fun and I really enjoyed myself from start to finish. BUT, now that I’ve run the race 4 years in a row, I think it’s time for me to focus on other races from here on out. I can honestly say that today’s race was a great way to end my run if Disneyland Half Marathon races :D More »

A Very Enchanting Disneyland 10K Run

The TV Guide

With the first of three races under my belt, I was able to enjoy a very fun day with my friends at Disneyland yesterday after we ran the 10th anniversary Disneyland 5K earlier in the day. Ashley, Jesse and I reconvened at Disney California Adventure for an afternoon together where we celebrated our successful run that day and generally enjoyed one another’s company. I got to spend some time with a couple of other friends, Michelle and Joey, in Disneyland before I called it an early night last night. Then, I was up not so bright and very early to run the Disneyland 10K this morning. Double the length of the 5K race, the 10K run today was double the fun :) More »

The Sons Of Anakin Conquer The Disneyland 5K

The TV Guide

Last night, I met up with my Sons of Anakin compatriots Ashely and Jesse at the Run Disney Health Expo at the Disneyland Hotel to pick up our race materials for the 10th anniversary Disneyland 5K race that took place earlier this year. Today’s race was Ashely and Jesse’s first Disney race so I was very happy to be able to run it with them. We hung out for a bit last night, carbo loaded and got as much sleep as we could before we met up again at the starting line this morning. The race was really fun, Ashley and Jesse did very well and I am very happy to say that I have another Disneyland 5K medal to add to my growing collection. More »

Sun’s Out, Fun’s Out

The TV Guide

Yesterday was my usual Sunday Funday with my Sons of Anakin friends at Disneyland BUT with a bit of a twist. Before we went to the park, I met up with Jesse, Jessika and Jolie for lunch at our fave Korean BBQ spot and we ate our faces off. From there, we hung out a bit before we finally rolled into the park to meet up with our friends. By the time we arrived, the temperature was much cooler, we were well fed and ready for fun. I’m not sure that it’s the routine that we will take up from here on out but it was a nice change of pace, I can assure you.

The lunch, shopping, hanging out thing before Disneyland was a nice change of pace but it’s not something we can really do on a regular basis. At one point, we ate so much we almost decided to just go nap somewhere, rather than play in Disneyland with our friends. Having access to an affordable all-you-can eat Korean BBQ joint can be dangerous. It’s something we really have to save for special occasions, maybe once a month or so. Once we got to Disneyland, we went about the biz of having our normal fun so all turned out well. Next weekend will be bonkers because it’s the Disneyland Half Marathon weekend. I’ll be heading down to Anaheim on Thursday and will be staying until Sunday to run races. It should be fun … I hope. I’m so painfully out of running practice, I’m afraid I might crash and burn … so keep a good thought, please. It’s Monday and a new week. September starts tomorrow and … damn, where has the year gone?

Old Friends

The TV Guide

For the most part, I was able to stay in and get shizz done in my new place. I did my first load of laundry in the washer & dryer IN my apartment (yay) and I managed to get more things put away rather than piled up in my extra bedroom. I took care of some biz at the Apple Store around 5 and ran into my dear friend Tony at the mall — so we hung out for an hour or so. Then I drove down to Anaheim to meet up and hang with some friends for an impromptu Disneyland date. All and all, it was very productive day. More »

The Beckham Family Spent The Day At Disneyland

The Beckhamiest Place on Earth

The entire Beckham family — David, Victoria, Brooklyn Joseph, Romeo James, Cruz David and Harper Seven — made their way to Anaheim, CA yesterday to spend a fun-filled day at the Happiest Place on Earth … Disneyland! Reports that Les Beckhams were in the park started to make the rounds on social media in the morning and all day long, photos from the family and of the family in Disneyland Resort and Disney California Adventure parks started showing up online. Click through the gallery to see some of the fun that the Beckham fam enjoyed at Disneyland yesterday (the first 4 photos come from David and Victoria Beckham themselves, the remaining photos in the gallery were shot by the paparazzi). Alas, I was not able to get down to Disneyland yesterday to partake in the fun with Les Beckhams but I know that they had the best day ever!
