The Beckhamiest Place on Earth
The entire Beckham family — David, Victoria, Brooklyn Joseph, Romeo James, Cruz David and Harper Seven — made their way to Anaheim, CA yesterday to spend a fun-filled day at the Happiest Place on Earth … Disneyland! Reports that Les Beckhams were in the park started to make the rounds on social media in the morning and all day long, photos from the family and of the family in Disneyland Resort and Disney California Adventure parks started showing up online. Click through the gallery to see some of the fun that the Beckham fam enjoyed at Disneyland yesterday (the first 4 photos come from David and Victoria Beckham themselves, the remaining photos in the gallery were shot by the paparazzi). Alas, I was not able to get down to Disneyland yesterday to partake in the fun with Les Beckhams but I know that they had the best day ever!

Rapper Ice Cube is just like you and me, he likes to hang out with his family at Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, CA from time to time in order to partake of the fun that can be had in the amusement park. Last weekend, Cube gathered up his family and made the trek from LA to Orange County so that they could play in the Disneyland park together and ride the beloved rides there. Among the rides that Ice Cube and his family enjoyed together was Space Mountain which, as you may know, snaps a photo of riders along the way. TMZ managed to get their hands on a photo of Ice Cube and his family riding Space Mountain and it is only the funnest photo that you will see all day. More »

Yesterday was another trademark Sunday Funday for me and my friends at the Disneyland Resort theme park in Anaheim, CA. I had to miss going to the park last weekend because I had just moved into my new place so I was itching to get down to see my friends this weekend. I had to run a few errands early in the AM so I wasn’t able to meet up with everybody until early afternoon but once I got there, a lot of fun was had. As usual, we rode rides, we drank dranks and we ate our faces off … ’twas a very fun day with a group of very fun people. More »

Yesterday was a really fun day for me at Disneyland. I mean, every day at Disney is fun but yesterday was especially fun. My friends in the social club Mickey’s Empire hosted a Tourist Day theme for the park yesterday and anyone who wanted to participate was invited to dress up as tourists for the day. Now, I don’t really like to play dress up so this kind of thing isn’t usually something I’d be into … but my friend Elena convinced me that dressing up would be fun and she was absolutely right. Yesterday was a very fun, pretty busy day for me. Veruca Salt performed an intimate acoustic show at The Federal Bar in North Hollywood FOR FREE so I made sure to get my buns out to the Valley to see them live. Afterward, I made my way down to Anaheim, CA to hang out with my friends at Disneyland … which, un/fortunately was totally doused in rain all afternoon/evening/night long. We still had fun, obvs, but had to keep the fun indoors as much as possible. My day started out bright, sunny and hot and ended dark, rainy and muggy … and I loved every minute of it. More »

Altho Disney kicked off their 60th anniversary celebration for the Disneyland Resort on Memorial Day weekend back in May, yesterday was the park’s actual 60th anniversary. On July 17, 1955, Walt Disney himself opened up the Happiest Place on Earth to the world and for 60 years, brought happiness and magic to countless people from all around the world. Because of my usual work schedule, I have never been able to be at the Disneyland park when the gates open in the morning but I decided to make an exception for this occasion. I wanted to be among the first people to enter Disneyland exactly 60 years after the park was originally opened … and I had the best time ever. More »
Today, exactly 60 years ago, Disneyland Resort opened for business here in SoCal and for the following 6 decades, legions of people have visited the park and its companion theme park Disney California Adventure to experience the magic and wonder of Disneyland. I am planning to be at Disneyland when the park opens today at 8AM to mark the 60th anniversary (like, right now … as this post is being published). I never take days off — ever — and I’ve never been at Disneyland when it opens first thing in the morning so I figured I’d make an exception for the park’s 60th diamond anniversary. The folks at Disney are requesting that patrons dress as if it were 1995 — the year that Disneyland opened — so there, too, I am making an exception (I hate dressing up but I’m doing it — kinda — for the occasion today). I am hoping to be back home and in front of my computer by afternoon but it’s possible I may not get any work done today, please forgive me. And please help me wish the Happiest Place on Earth a very Happy 60th Anniversary today :)

The last few days have been a whirlwind of fun … it’s been a lot all at once but, truly, a string of really great days full of amazing experiences with some of the best people I am blessed to call family and friends. For my birthday yesterday, I awoke to an onslaught of the sweetest birthday messages from people all around the world! Readers in Australia got the party started on Saturday and, friends, I have been touched by each and every one of your birthday messages. Thank you all so much for taking the time. I love you all so dearly. My day got started at Disneyland with friends, my evening was spent hanging out with Veruca Salt and my night wrapped up with a late dinner hang with Tamar. It is no exaggeration to say that I really enjoyed the Best. Birthday. Ever. More »

Yesterday I met up with my friend Grace at Disneyland for a hang sesh in the park and we ended up having only the best day ever. Because of the massive number of people who came out to the parks on Saturday July 4, not as many people came out for Sunday July 5 … which meant that the park was mostly empty … which meant we were free to ride as many rides as we liked without having to wait in long lines. Grace and I met up around noon and didn’t stop until near closing. We laughed, rode rides, ate, took photos and had a really great Sunday Funday together.
Britney Spears was also in the park yesterday and we did our best to keep an eye out for her … but, alas, we never ran into her. I did manage to recreate a photo that she took in the park so … that was as close as I got to seeing Britney in Disneyland. No matter, Grace and I had the best time together. She cosplayed at Scarlet Witch (from The Avengers: Age of Ultron) and I kinda half-assed my Captain America look. We were able to ride pretty much all of the big rides and many of the smaller, must-see rides. I always have a great time in Disneyland but on the visits where I get to show newcomers all the fun that can be had, yeah, those are the best visits. I had a really great Sunday to close out a really fun weekend, I hope you did, too :D
