Adventure Time

The TV Guide

I didn’t plan on doing anything fun last night other than packing but because the realtor that represents the condo I live in needed to show my place to potential new tenants, I decided not to be here when the showing took place. When I moved last, I had to deal with quite a few showing appointments where I was home working while potential tenants looked around my home on a realtor tour. I get that it’s necessary but it’s weird, awkward and can be uncomfortable. I got some work done yesterday afternoon with help from Emma, so I decided to meet up with my friend Jesse for a drink hang … wanna guess where we decided to meet? More »

Extended Family

The TV Guide

Yesterday was another Sunday Funday for me at the Disney parks down in Anaheim, CA — which probably isn’t a big surprise — but I really wanted to go all out since I will be out of town for the next week. I was able to meet up and hang out with the whole Sons of Anakin SC family but spent much of my time hanging out with members of our club who I hadn’t seen in a very long time. There are so many cool kids in our group that I’m lucky enough to have too many new friends to hang out with. Altho it was painfully hot and humid yesterday, I ended up having a superfun day with some really great friends. More »

The 3 Amigos

The TV Guide

Yesterday was a very good, very productive day for me. Having just paid off my car IN FULL, the DMV mailed me the title of my car … which proved to be a GREAT start to the day. I then went to look at what may be my new home in Hollywood but until I know for sure, mum’s the word (tho I wouldn’t mind if you keep a good thought for me). Last night, I made my way down to Anaheim, CA to enjoy a night of karaoke with a couple of Sons of Anakin SC friends at the House of Blues in Downtown Disney and SINCE we were in the neighborhood, we may have ridden a ride or two in the parks. Not bad for a Wednesday, I think. More »

Fully Patched

The TV Guide

Because Sarah and Mark had a noon flight back to Detroit yesterday, we really didn’t have much time to end their trip with a bang. We ate a delicious breakfast at Mauro’s Cafe at Fred Segal and then I had to take them to the airport for their flight home. SINCE I was already halfway to Anaheim, CA anyways and SINCE it was the first Sunday that I was able to wear my Sons of Anakin Social Club patches on my vest, I decided to head down and enjoy a fun day at Disneyland and Disney California Adventure with my peeps. I know you’re probably not going to believe this but, I only had the best day ever. More »

OF ALL THE DAYS for Britney Spears to be at Disneyland, she HAD to pick the day that I wasn’t there! ARGHHHHHH!!! More »

Officially Official

The TV Guide

Sooooo, yeah, yesterday was pretty sweet. A little over 2 months since I first met them and a little over a month after I officially became a prospect, I was officially voted into the Sons of Anakin Social Club at Disneyland yesterday. Trust me, I understand how this may be a bit confusing out of context for some of you but I can assure it, it was a very good thing. As I’ve mentioned before, I decided to join one of the many social clubs at Disneyland in an effort to make new friends and share a common/crazy love of all things Disney AND Star Wars and yesterday, I was officially “patched in” to the club. Needless to say, I had a great time yesterday becoming a new member of this social club family … but it’s only the start of more fun to come. More »

Celebrating Disneyland’s 59th Anniversary

The TV Guide

Yesterday my BFF Ollie and I made our way down to Anaheim, CA to celebrate the 59th anniversary of the Disneyland Resort and we had a smashing time. I know it may sound like an impossibility that I can have so much fun at Disneyland when I go there so much but it’s true, I don’t know how to explain it. Ollie hadn’t been to Disneyland in over a year so it was fun to run around the park and do our fave stuff together. Despite the frequency with which I go to the park, each visit is unique and different. Yesterday was no exception :D More »

Welcome Back Party

The TV Guide

After the super fun weekend that I got to enjoy celebrating my birthday with my friends, you might expect that I would decide to just stay home and chill out on my Monday night. Yeah, that’s not what happened. The president of my Disneyland social club Sons of Anakin, who was away on vacay for about 3 weeks, made his grand return last night and a bunch of us met up with him at Disney California Adventure for a little welcome back party. The parks were wonderfully empty and the weather was cool & breezy … which meant it was the perfect night of fun at Disney. More »

The Happiest Birthday On Earth

The TV Guide

After my pretty epic birthday party Saturday night (thrown for me by my truly amazing friends), I knew I had to get my buns down to Disneyland so that I could properly celebrate my birthday. With rare exception, I’ve celebrated my birthday at Disneyland every year that I’ve lived here in LA so, it simply had to be done. I met up with some of my peeps in the Sons of Anakin social club and we had the best day ever! I’m not sure how your Sunday turned out but my Sunday turned out pretty spectacularly :D More »
