Nadya Suleman, the so-called Octomom, tried her hand at fame and fortune by birthing a bunch of babies all at the same time. When that didn’t work, she resorted to a carrer in porn. Shortly there after, she tried stripping. SO NATURALLY the next step on the Octomom career track is music! Horror of horrors, Suleman has teamed up with a realty TV star named Adam Barta (yeah, I have no idea who he is) on a single titled Sexy Party. Last month we learned the happy news that Tori Amos is releasing a new album later this year titled Gold Dust. Altho the album will feature a collection of music already released by Tori, the songs have been rerecorded and made into orchestral versions. Last week we learned that new American Idol judge Mariah Carey is readying the release of a new single titled Triumphant (Get ‘Em). As you may recall, Mimi told us herself that the song is a collaboration with Rick Ross and Meek Mill. Today, courtesy of MC again, we get our first look at the single artwork for Triumphant. Yesterday was a pretty normal and quiet day for me. Except for my physical therapy session, I didn’t leave the house. I spent most of the day catching up on some behind the scenes blog work (which will be revealed this week, actually) and just basically chilling out. I’ve decided that my non-run days will be spent as immobile as possible :) See, the good ol’ lazy Trent is still here. When I work, I like to have either the TV on or music playing … yesterday was a music playing day so I spent a lot of time with the fabulous Dannii Minogue. More »

Sky Ferreira, who brilliantly channeled her inner Madonna for V magazine last January, is ready to make her bold return to the music scene. Sky is preparing for the release of a new album titled I’m Not Alright by first releasing a new single and music video titled Red Lips. Red Lips was co-written by the amazing Shirley Manson of Garbage and was produced by Greg Kurstin … the video was directed by photographer Terry Richardson. A couple of weeks ago we got to check out a video message from P!nk herself wherein she formally and playfully announced the release date for her new album The Truth About Love. Today we get to check out the just-released album art for the disc. Last month we got our first look at the album art for the forthcoming trilogy of albums from Green Day titled ¡Uno!, ¡Dos! and ¡Tré!. Today we get our first listen of the first single, Oh Love, from the first album of the trilogy to be released ¡Uno!. Yesterday I had big plans to finally get to my huge mounds of laundry … but, alas, it wasn’t meant to be. A visit to Amoeba Records in Hollywood, CA awakened an intense love that I had long forgotten. While perusing the 12″ singles bin, I came upon a few amazing vinyl records by Paula Abdul. The records I found were ones that I already own … but I was reminded by how much I LOVE Paula‘s music. Folks, I know that Paula Abdul isn’t loved like she used to be in her hey day but when she was on the music scene, she ruled the world. I’ve been listening to her singles all night and all day today and let me tell you, her brand of pop music still holds up today. More »

Yesterday we got to see a short preview teaser video for Madonna‘s forthcoming new music video for her new single Turn Up the Radio. Today we get to see the official artwork for the single release. Those of you who are familiar with the photos we saw from the video set will recognize the image that is featured on the artwork below.
