Oh, the Jesus piece. A jewelry staple in rap culture that I’ve come to accept, though the very sight of it makes me wish more people were familiar with that one commandment that specifically tells believers not to make graven images unto god. But Whatevs. Okay. So. The rapper Game, who I actually really like, recently released the artwork for the cover of his upcoming album (aptly titled Jesus Piece), and everyone is pissed. Except for me, and a few other people on Twitter. Check out the album art inside!

First Look/Listen: Spice Girls Melanie Chisholm & Emma Bunton Team Up For A New Single

Melanie Chisholm, the artist formerly known as Sporty Spice of the Spice Girls, has released a new album titled Stages. One of the songs on Stages is a cover of the Broadway duet song I Know Him So Well from the musical Chess (while you may not be well aware with the show Chess, you might be well aware of the hit song One Night in Bangkok which is also featured on the musical soundtrack). For her cover, Mel C. enlisted the aid of one of her fellow Spice Girls and asked Emma Bunton (Baby Spice) to record the song with her. The single and a music video is one the way. First Look: Ke$ha Releases The Cover Artwork For Her New Album ‘Warrior’

Popstar Ke$ha, the current covergirl on Billboard magazine, gave us the first listen of her new single Die Young late last month. As you may recall, we also got to see the artwork for the single. Today we get our first look at the cover art for her sophomore album Warrior, which is due out on December 4th. When I first saw her coverphoto on Billboard magazine, I commented on how cleaned up Ke$ha looks … I’m sorry to see that her new “cleaner” look is not featured on her album cover. Last month, Kylie Minogue released a music video for her new single Flower which is taken from her forthcoming new album The Abbey Road Sessions. As you may know, The Abbey Road Sessions is an album of Kylie songs that have been re-imagined and re-arranged with an orchestra. We’re gonna hafta wait until November 6 to hear the album in full but check out the video above to hear short snippets of all 16 songs included on The Abbey Road Sessions. Based on the snippets, I think the new version of Better the Devil You Know is my fave. I cannot WAIT to hear the album in full :D

Rihanna Announces The Release Of Her 7th Album Titled ‘Unapologetic’

Late last month Rihanna released the single Diamonds, the first from her then-untitled 7th album (due out next month). Today, Rihanna finally reveals the title of her new album along with the cover artwork for the album. Rihanna announced today on her official Twitter profile that her new album is titled Unapologetic … which, I gotta say, seems like a very aptly titled album (considering the questionable choices she’s been making lately). As you can see below, the album art features a topless Rihanna covered in only the titles of the songs featured on her new album. Check out the cover art below and see what you think. More »

Last week Kelly Clarkson announced the forthcoming release of her first Greatest Hits collection and revealed that a new single titled Catch My Breath was on the way. Today, we get to hear that new track in full. The single won’t be made available for sale until next week but Kelly has released audio of the single so that we can listen … and fall in love. I’ve listened to Catch My Breath 3 times already and I am LOVING it so much. It’s very Kelly Clarkson. It’s a mid-tempo, dancey track with great lyrics and an infectious hook. Taylor Swift has released the second single from her new album Red and today we get to hear that new track in full. I Knew You Were Trouble is Taylor‘s latest offering and it gives us a first taste of her new sound. As you can hear above, Taylor is experimenting with Dub Step in this very pop-rocky song. As you may know, Swift has enjoyed huge popularity as a Country music performer but it sounds like she is deffo going the more mainstream route on her new record. Dub Step … I mean.
