Reznor has announced the upcoming release of the soundtrack to the film The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo by releasing a 6 song sampler FOR FREE! In addition to the standard release of the soundtrack recording, a deluxe version of the album is also being offered for presale. AND, Reznor‘s version of the Led Zeppelin song Immigrant Song, featuring Karen O on vocals, is also now available for download. We are still weeks away from the release of Rihanna‘s new album Talk That Talk but that won’t stop Rihanna from dropping new singles before the disc hits stores. Ri Ri tweeted the announcement that her second TTT single You Da One will be released to radio tomorrow and will be available for purchase on Sunday. As for the TTT album itself, one reviewer calls it the “dirtiest pop album” to be released since Madonna‘s 1992 album Erotica. HMMM. Earlier today it was revealed that plans are in the works to release a new album of previously unreleased songs recorded by the late Amy Winehouse and now we learn that her official website has been updated with a lot of information about the posthumous album. It appears that this collection of tracks is a sort of odds and ends compilation of songs recorded by Amy over the years. I understand that she had completed an entire new album of new songs before her death but it would seem that that album will be released later. The album is titled Under the Mistletoe and features the Biebs on the cover NOT standing under the mistletoe. In fact, there is no mistletoe to be see at all in the artwork. HMMM.

As we all know by now, Britney Spears is readying the release of Criminal as the next single from her latest album Femme Fatale and today we get to hear the remixed single version of the track. On the album, Criminal is a bit slower than mid-tempo … this single mix deffo sounds to me a bit faster, more upbeat. The vocals sound a bit enhanced as well. I only kinda like the original album version but I really LOVE this new single mix. Listen to it in full below.
