The Dead Can Dance

The TV Guide

After my whirlwind week last week with Sarah in town, I needed a bit of a night off … well, that was the plan. I decided that I was going to do a whole lot of nothing yesterday … my plan was to just chill at home and relax. I managed to catch up on some TV, listened to some music and rested for pretty much the entire day. I did get antsy last night and, well, I did go out for the W▲RLOK danceparty that happens every other Tuesday night here in LA. I didn’t make it a late night but, yeah, I’ve been in the mood lately so off I went! More »

Listen: Kelly Clarkson Releases A Radio Edit For Her New Single ‘People Like Us’

"Here's to the damned, to the lost and forgotten"
"People like us we've gotta stick together"

Last November, just around the release of her first-ever greatest hits compilation, we got to hear the new Kelly Clarkson song titled People Like Us. I fell immediately in love with the new track (along with her then single Catch My Breath). People Like Us is being released next month as Kelly‘s latest single and the radio edit of the song has just hit the Interwebs. IMHO, the song didn’t get enough attention back in November so I’m hoping its single release will do the song justice … so click the embed above to give the song a fresh listen. I love it, I think you might too!

Morrissey Chooses Rick Astley Over David Bowie For His New Single Cover Artwork

RICKROLLED!

As you may have noticed, I enjoyed more than my fair share of Morrissey last week but today I have one more thing I have to share with all y’all. It’s no secret that Moz tends to get into little squirmishes with folks over silly and not so silly things. As outspoken and opinionated as the Mozzer is, it’s only a matter of time before he gets into a new “feud” after his last “feud” has faded from memory. Last week, Morrissey got into a public spat with Jimmy Kimmel and this week, he’s butting heads with David Bowie … kinda. For the reissue of his single The Last of the International Playboys, Morrissey intended to use an old photo of himself with David Bowie … the only problem is that David asked that his photo not be used. Nonplussed, Moz went ahead and decided to grant Bowie‘s wish and use a different photo … choosing instead to feature Rick Astley on his single cover artwork. LOL! C’mon, that’s funny, right? More »
