Remember last September — way before Lindsay Lohan was revealed as the new face of JAG Jeans and FCUK fragrances — we learned that L. Lo was chosen by designer Philipp Plein as the new face of his fashion line … and that seemingly tragic and showy public photoshoot she posed for for the line? Well, the photos have been finalized and the ad campaign has been released. Lindsay is now officially the star of Plein‘s Spring/Summer 2012 ad campaign … and YOU, yes you, can see some of the photos below.

Dang … it’s turning out to be a banner year for Lindsay Lohan, especially since the release of her first ever Playboy magazine nude pictorial. As you may recall, we learned late last month that L. Lo has been named as the new celebrity spokesmodel for JAG Jeans. Today we learn that FCUK (French Connection UK) has chosen Lindsay as the new celebrity spokesmodel for their fragrance called Friction. The official website for Friction features the first promo image of Lindsay promoting the smell … which you can see for yourselves below.

Last year we first heard that David Beckham was planning the release of his own line of underwear and yesterday we got our first look at the first promo image from David Beckham Bodywear … which will be sold exclusively at H&M stores around the world starting next month. Today we get to check out a few more promo images from the David Beckham Bodywear ad campaign … some which feature Becks and others which feature the various pieces of clothing that make up the bodywear range. Back in May of last year, we learned that David Beckham would be unveiling a line of products that would include fragrances and his own line of underwear. The nominations for the 84th annual Academy Awards have not yet been decided but the voting ballots have been mailed out this week to all members of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences so it won’t be long until we find out which films will be competing to take home Oscar trophies next February. While we wait for the votes to come in and tallied, today we get to check out the the just-released official poster for the 2012 Academy Awards. The poster is predictably traditional … but a good reminder that the Academy Awards are just around the corner.

Early last month we got our first look at a mysterious new promo video that featured popstar and newish mom Mariah Carey and a day later we learned that she had been named the new celebrity spokesmodel for Jenny Craig. Today we get to see Mimi in a new Jenny commercial that is themed on her hit song Make It Happen. Mariah seems very happy to show off her hot bod … and why not? She’s getting paid megabucks to do so. Yesterday we got to check out some photos of the just-released press kit for Madonna‘s first ever fragrance Truth or Dare and today we get our first look at the first promo image for the perfume ad campaign. As I understand it, the press kit for Truth or Dare comes with a DVD that contains promo images for publication … which means that those promo images will be released soon. A line of cosmetics called Capitol Colours has been unveiled that features none other than Effie Trinkett as the official face of the line.
