Promo images from Dior‘s new Secret Garden ad campaign which feature Rihanna have been released and as you can see below, the photos are haunting, striking and very beautiful. Photographed by Steven Klein, Rihanna is the latest celebrity spokesmodel (and, I understand, the fashion house’s first Black spokesmodel) for the brand, which will included a short film also called Secret Garden, set to a new Rihanna song titled A Night (which will be included on her new album — whenever it comes out). The short film should be out this week but for now, let’s feast our eyes on the ad campaign promo images below. More »
Just in time for Cinco de Mayo today (I assume), Sauza 901 tequila has released a new video commercial that stars pop star / actor Justin Timberlake as a lime. Yes, a lime. This is one of those you have to see it to believe it sort of things so … have a look above … and enjoy?
Back in December, it was announced that Rihanna was named the new creative director for Puma sportswear and today we are getting our first look at Puma‘s new ad campaign. Not only is Ri Ri calling the shots as the creative director for the brand but she is also pulling double duty as Puma‘s newest celebrity spokesmodel, of course. The first promo image from the new Puma campaign has been released and as you can see below, the goal — it would seem — is to hearken back to the fashion days of yore for this brand new Puma sportswear collection. We are a little over a week away from Mother’s Day here in the US and the Hallmark Greeting Card company is getting their promo push for the holiday in high gear. This year, Hallmark has launched their #PutYourHeartToPaper campaign and as you can see in the video embedded above, they are featuring a transgender man named Alex and his mother Pam. I am not at all ashamed to admit that this video not only made me tear up but it really made me cry, like, streams down my face. Alex‘s lovely sentiments about his mother are those of most children toward their mothers … but it’s especially poignant to see the loving relationship that Alex has with his mom Pam. Watch this video to have your heart warmed and your cheeks stained with tears.
Britney Spears, as you should be well aware, is currently ruling Las Vegas, NV with her concert residency show Britney: Piece of Me at the Planet Hollywood Hotel and Casino and, as such, offers quite a bit of merchandise for sale to avid fans. Many of the products available for sale in Vegas are exclusive to the area … like her new fragrance Rocker Femme Fantasy. The promo video for this new perfume, Rocker Femme Fantasy by Britney Spears, can be seen on the TV system inside various hotels in Las Vegas advertising its sale and one industrious fan recorded the video and shared it online. If you’ve been wondering when Britney would be releasing her 45th (or so) fragrance, then wonder no more. And get thee to Las Vegas if you’d like to score a bottle of Rocker Femme Fantasy by our dear Britney Spears.
For some reason, this week I saw this Lane Bryant Cacique commercial about 72 times. The #ImNoAngel commercial started making headlines a while back, but I had never watched the whole thing from beginning to end. Seeing it, and thinking about a few celebrities who have recently come out with their own brands of what might be called body positivism (P!nk, Kelly Clarkson, and Chrissy Teigen who Instagrammed a photo of her—albeit, barely there—stretch marks) got me wondering about the “true” definition of body positivism. I want to hear ALL of your thoughts on this, so click inside for more!
So Audi has a new TV commercial out that features 80% footage from The Avengers: Age of Ultron, 19% footage from Ant-Man and 1% footage of the car they are trying to sell … so it’s basically the best car commercial ever. Altho much of the footage seen in this commercial has been previously released, there are a few scenes from both Age of Ultron and Ant-Man that makes this Audi commercial worth watching. I’m really excited to see these Marvel Studios movies so I’m sold … and strangely, I want to buy an Audi, too. HMMM.
OK Go, known for their visually creative music videos, have teamed up with the Chinese furniture store Red Star Macalline for their latest ad campaign and as you can see above, they came up with a pretty neat-o TV commercial. This TV commercial makes visual reference to the video for OK Go‘s single The Writing’s on the Wall but if features a remix of their single I Won’t Let You Down. It’s basically the best that OK Go has to offer for a very lucky furniture store. I’m not sure if this commercial will help sell lots of furniture in China but it deffo caught my eye. Check it out, see what you think. It’s a really rad video, ain’t it?
Beyoncé appeared in an ad campaign for L’Oréal Paris back in 2013 for their cosmetic and hair color products. Today, a bunch of unretouched photos from her L’Oréal photoshoot have hit the Internets and are causing quite a stir among her fans and detractors alike. We all know that Beyoncé takes great pains to ensure that photos of her are Photoshopped to perfection but these unretouched photos show the world that she is a flawed human after all. The photos were released by the fansite The Beyoncé World and they have people talking. Even tho I’m sure Bey is not happy that these photos are out, I think it can be a good thing that people can see that she isn’t always perfect and that she is flawed like everyone else. I must admit, it’s a bit jarring to see the usually perfect Beyoncé looking fairly unperfect but, again, having very human flaws is reality. Beyoncé is beautiful, no matter what … flaws and all.
