Mariah Carey Is Teaming Up With MAC For Her Own Line Of Cosmetics

Here comes the MAC Mariah Carey Beauty Icon Collection

In recent weeks, we’ve learned that pop star Mariah Carey has partnered with companies to appear in ad campaigns for the Game Of War video game and the Match.com online dating service. Today, thankfully, we learn that Mimi has partnered with a company for a new collaboration that makes a lot more sense brand-wise and will likely do very well come the holiday shopping season. Mariah Carey has teamed up with MAC Cosmetics for a Beauty Icon Collection launching later this year that will include items like a shimmery champagne-colored lipstick called All I Want … which is a BRILLIANT name for a lipstick, by the way. Click below to learn more about Mimi‘s collab with MAC, see what the All I Want shade of lipstick looks like and get ready to update your Xmas shopping list. More »

Here’s All The Proof I Need That Rihanna And Travi$ Scott Are Official

This is getting pretty cute.

Well, well, well. I was wondering when we were going to get our official first pic of Travi$ Scott and Rihanna boo’d up on Instagram together, and it’s happened… sort of… in the form of a Puma ad for Rihanna‘s new Fenty line. Last week we learned from sources that the pair was officially official, and this week I’ve seen enough to fully believe it for myself. Between the ad, and a recent interview Travi$ gave on ESPN, this looks pretty trill to me. Click inside for more!

Watch: Mariah Carey Is A Video Game ‘Hero’ In This New Commercial For Game Of War

"Time to be heroes, guys"

Pop chanteuse Mariah Carey has replaced Kate Upton as the celebrity spokesmodel for the Game of War video game and as you can see in her first video promo for the game, Mimi is truly the hero to count on. This clever (if poorly computer animated) video features a sample of Mariah‘s song Hero and then, briefly, MC herself appears in the clip to save the day. Mariah‘s appearance looks odd to me because it looks like her head was digitally added to another person’s body (watch closely when she runs at the end of the clip). But even tho this commercial is pretty terrible, I love it entirely. Have a look below and love. More »

Watch: Here Is A Commercial For ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ LEGO Toys

"You can build the X-Wing and save the droid"
"Watch out! It's Kylo Ren!"

A few days ago, we got to see promo photos of some of the toys that will be released for sale in conjunction with the release of the upcoming sequel film Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Today we get to see a TV commercial for one of those coveted toys. As you can see above, this commercial advertises the sale of The Force Awakens LEGO building sets. The commercial is cute and it stars new Star Wars characters Kylo Ren and BB-8. Now, as a big LEGO and Star Wars fan, I think it’s a given that I’m gonna have to buy all of the things so this commercial is preaching to the choir. I hope you guys have some money saved because I think the release of these Star Wars toys is going to empty quite a few bank accounts.

Watch: Banksy Releases An Official Commercial Advertisement For Dismaland

"A place where all your dreams come true'
"This is a theme park like no other"

Last week we got to see the first photos and first video from Banksy‘s ambitious new art exhibit/installation Dismaland Bemusement Park currently on display in the UK and today we get to see a just-released “commercial” for the dystopian theme park. Banksy himself has put together an official “promo video” for Dismaland that is embedded above. The narrative is pretty dismally straightforward and the accompanying music is disturbingly saccharine, perfect for this promo video of the theme park art exhibit. Have a look and see, once again, why Dismaland is the Crappiest Place on Earth.

Burger King Proposes A Joint Burger Venture With McDonald’s, McDonald’s Says Nah

Thirsty BK wants a McWhopper, McD's ain't interested at all

Fast food giant Burger King took out a full page ad in The New York Times and the Chicago Tribune today in an effort to solicit fast food GOD McDonald’s with a proposal that the two companies join forces to create a joint burger called the McWhopper in honor of Peace One Day. In what would absolutely constitute a major advertising coup for Burger King, the proposal suggests that the two companies collaborate on a special burger that would bring the fast food rivals together in “peace” … and commerce. Burger King‘s thirst for this proposal is so huge that they even offered up mock packaging for the McWhopper. Unfortunately for BK, McDonald’s isn’t at all interested in this proposal. The CEO of McD’s posted a response to BK on their official Facebook profile that basically says Thaaaaaaanks … but no thanks, don’t bother us publicly in this manner, go away, bye. Click below to see this back and forth exchange between these two fast food companies and learn more about the McWhopper — which will never come to be. More »
