Watch: Queen Elizabeth, II Delivers The 2012 Christmas Message

In 3D
The Queen's Speech

Each year, on Xmas Day, Queen Elizabeth Alexandra Mary, II delivers an annual Christmas Message that is broadcast to the entire United Kingdom and abroad. In years past, the Queen‘s speech was delivered via radio, via television and online. This year, for the first time ever, Queen Elizabeth‘s Christmas Message was also broadcast in 3D. As you can see above, the Queen focused her annual message this year on looking back at the very successful London Olympic Games. I’m actually very surprised that she made no mention whatsoever of her granddaughter-in-law’s first pregnancy but, well, she’s the Queen and she can talk about whatever she likes. Click above to watch the Queen‘s speech and … enjoy?

Watch: Fox Releases The Shortest Trailer For The New ‘Simpsons’ 3D Animated Short ‘The Longest Daycare’

This Summer, with the theatrical release of Ice Age: Continental Drift, Fox is releasing a 3D animated short film starring The Simpsons. Er, actually, the short film, titled The Longest Daycare, really only stars one member of the The Simpson family — Maggie Simpson. And, as I understand it, most if not all of the film features no dialog (which is understandable because baby Maggie has only ever uttered one word in her animated life). Click below to watch a short trailer for The Longest Daycare and get your first taste of this new Simpsons animated short. More »

The Release Date For ‘G.I. Joe: Retaliation’ Has Been Pushed Back To 2013

WTF?!

Just last month, Paramount Studios released two action-packed movie trailers for this Summer’s sequel film G.I. Joe: Retaliation … which was due to open in theaters next month. Today we learn that Retaliation will not be released in theaters next month as planned. In fact, the film will not be released in 2012 at all. The decision has been made to push back the release date for G.I. Joe: Retaliation until March of 2013 supposedly so that the film could be converted to 3D. My guess is that Paramount just decided not to compete at the box office this year with films like The Avengers and Batman: The Dark Knight Rises. More »
