Like many other Americans, I can’t wait for this election to be over. It’s been months of negativity, mud slinging, accusations, scandal and rollercoaster polls, which has made it almost impossible to determine who the winner will be.
We won’t know until late Tuesday evening/Wednesday morning for the final results, but in anticipation of voter turnout, GOP nominee, Donald Trump has had his Twitter privileges revoked. According to the New York Times, Trump’s aides have taken away his Twitter, a favorite social media platform Trump has used to express his controversial opinions, fearing any further posts could alienate voters from potential votes.
President Barack Obama used the news at a rally for Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton in Kissamee Florida, to poke fun and drive home a point to voters. “Apparently, his campaign has taken away his Twitter. In the last two days, they had so little confidence in his self-control, that they said, ‘We’re just going to take away your Twitter,'” he said Sunday. “Now, if somebody can’t handle a Twitter account, they can’t handle the nuclear codes.”
If that isn’t enough to strike fear in the hearts of undecided voters, it might make the choice a little easier when heading to the polls tomorrow. However this hasn’t deterred Trump from slamming the Clinton campaign with accusations of a rigged election and the FBI covering for her after 650,000 emails were found on former congressman Anthony Weiner’s laptop.
Cur eye roll. November 9th can’t come fast enough!2
