It wasn’t that long ago that reality star and business mogul Kim Kardashian-West totally exposed pop mega star Taylor Swift by releasing video of a recorded phone call between Tay and Kim’s husband Kanye West. ICYMI, Kanye called Taylor to give her the heads up that he was going to name drop her in his song “Famous.” Taylor was recorded saying it was cool, then had a very adverse public reaction to the lyrics calling her, “that bitch” when the song was released.
Kanye received heat for it and being the loyal and doting wife she is, Kim released the recorded phone call on her snapchat, sending the entire Internet into a tizzy.
“Where is the video of Kanye telling me he was going to call me ‘that bitch’ in his song?” Taylor said in response to Kim’s video leak. “It doesn’t exist because it never happened. While I wanted to be supportive of Kanye on the phone call, you cannot ‘approve’ a song you haven’t heard. Being falsely painted as a liar when I was never given the full story or played any part of the song is character assassination.”
Now, in a recent interview with Billboard, Kim is saying she’s “so over” talking about Taylor, giving her side of the story in hopes of putting all the drama behind her.
“Ugh, do we really have to talk about Taylor Swift?” she said. “If it were up to Kanye, it all would probably never have come out. He can handle it, he has no hard feelings. He doesn’t even really care. I just wanted to protect my husband. I saw him getting a lot of s—. It wasn’t even about a look or anything, or to have this feud – it was like, ‘OK, here’s the truth. Done. Let’s all move on. I feel like I don’t want to talk about her anymore.”
I have a feeling this is bound to flare up again at some point, or we’ll see a very staged reconciliation between Taylor, Kim and Kanye…I mean the publicity is just too good.0
